What Zixflow is

Zixflow calls itself "The agentic customer engagement platform that runs it all, automatically," promising "instant OTPs that always land, journeys personalized per person, campaigns that reach everyone, and AI agents that answer every reply." Its channels are WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, email and push, with web push, in-app and Instagram marked as coming soon. The company's own blog describes it as "built for growing businesses that run marketing, sales, and support across multiple channels like WhatsApp, RCS, email, and SMS from a single workspace."

The about page explains the idea behind it: "The industry automated the shout and ignored the answer." Zixflow was built in two steps, first so that "the message had to arrive," then so that replies get answered. The homepage says it is "Trusted by 1,000+ Brands Messaging Millions Daily," and the about page speaks of being "Battle-tested across 2 billion+ messages daily." Named customers include SDCC Bank, TJSB Bank, Sharekhan, Kuku FM and Tata Consumer Products.

The product modules

The platform menu names five parts:

  • Sendflow, the delivery layer. The about page says it "delivers millions of messages daily with smart fallback." Messages are routed "by operator health," cascade to another channel on failure, and are confirmed by handset receipt. For one-time passwords the homepage describes the order "SMS first, WhatsApp next, RCS behind it, email as the floor," with Truecaller confirmation as a one-tap option.
  • AudienceIQ, the data layer. It ingests "events, attributes, and actions from your product, warehouse, store, or webhooks" and deduplicates them "into one profile per human." Sources shown include an SDK, webhooks, Shopify events (purchase completed, product viewed, checkout started) and CSV upload. Segments update in real time and "consent and opt-outs enforce everywhere."
  • Engage and Broadcast, for journeys and campaigns. Sample flows are abandoned cart, a 7-day onboarding flow, win-back and product suggestions.
  • Threads, the conversation layer, with an AI reply agent that reads each customer's profile. WhatsApp and RCS sessions "run on infrastructure that remembers the whole thread."

An AI flow engine lets teams "Describe a flow in plain language," and it builds branches, delays and retries. Guardrails for AI messages include an approve-first mode, tone and voice locks, discount ceilings and an audit trail on every AI-generated message. Preference centers and send windows are enforced so "no message reaches someone outside the hours or channels they've chosen." Reporting covers delivery, reply and behavior data, and logs can be streamed to Datadog.

Email and the other channels

Email sits in the channel list and in the fallback chain, and the company's blog names "WhatsApp, SMS, and email campaigns from a single dashboard" and a "Unified inbox for managing replies across all channels in one place" among the key features, along with trigger-based workflows and drip cadences, a native CDP and AI personalization. Integrations add email sync for Gmail, Microsoft Outlook and any IMAP provider, email validation to "Reduce bounces, improve deliverability," and an email finder.

The SMS page is the most detailed channel page. It lists DLR-confirmed delivery on every message, global coverage with "one API, every major market," Unicode and regional scripts "Counted correctly, billed correctly," branded link shortening with per-recipient click tracking, country split routing, random split testing of routes or templates, per-flow throughput control, webhooks for every delivery event, and operator-aware routing. For WhatsApp, the blog lists a drag-and-drop chatbot builder, catalogs, carousels and rich messages, tagging and filters, a shared inbox and campaign reports.

Integrations and developers

The integrations page is headed "5,000+ apps, one workflow" and lists Shopify ("automate follow-ups, cart recovery, and engagement across email, SMS, RCS and WhatsApp"), WooCommerce, Webflow, Jotform, Paperform, Tally forms, Typeform, Zoho Forms, Calendly, Facebook Lead Ads, CleverTap, Make, Pabbly Connect, Poper AI, a LinkedIn extension, webhooks, the API, a Node SDK and Zapier, which the page says connects "6,000+ apps." The developer menu lists documentation, an API reference and SDKs for Android and iOS, and the homepage shows Node.js, Python, Go and PHP. The blog admits one limit: "Third-party app integrations are fewer in number than established platforms."

Security and compliance

The security page lists "SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and PCI DSS," which it says are "audited independently and kept current," with GDPR commitments (a DPA and SCCs available) and a CCPA addendum. It lists DPDP readiness, DLT compliance, data residency and SSO/SCIM, and the homepage places data residency and SSO/SCIM on the Enterprise plan. Data is encrypted with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, sign-in uses passkeys, magic links or SSO, and the audit log is retained 400 days. The homepage claims 99.99% uptime. Under recognition, the about page lists "#1 Product of the Week" on Product Hunt and a Best SaaS Startup 2024 award.

Plans and pricing

Zixflow's blog on omnichannel tools says its "pricing is based on your usage volume and not contact list size," and lists three plans:

  • Free: "Up to 3 users who can send broadcast messaging across all the channels that the platform supports."
  • Marketing Stack: "$39/month (annual), starts with 3 users and includes inbox, chatbot, and flows."
  • Business Stack: "$69/month (annual)," with full access including the CDP (companies, deals, collections), shareable lists and the LinkedIn extension.

Messages are paid from a "pay-as-you-use campaign wallet," which another company post says charges only for messages that get delivered. The homepage offers "Start Free," a free audit and demos, and there is a startup program.

Customer results

The homepage says Kuku FM recovered 77.09% of failed messages with the automated fallback. TJSB Bank's IT officer praises "high message deliverability at scale, and top-notch security." Tata Consumer Products used WhatsApp bots for distributor ordering and reports a 2.5X increase in order volume; its procurement team says "Our team got up and running in no time."

Who it suits

Zixflow fits businesses whose messaging must arrive, such as banks, brokers and apps sending OTPs and alerts, and growing teams that run WhatsApp, SMS and email campaigns and want replies handled in one inbox. Shopify and WooCommerce stores can use it for cart recovery across channels. A sender who only wants email newsletters will use a small part of it, and the blog notes that first-time WhatsApp Business API setup needs coordination with the support team.
