How a platform gets listed

A listing is a product that sends marketing or transactional email for its customers, checked on its own website before it is added. Tools that work beside email without sending it are left out: list verifiers, deliverability checkers, popup and form builders, and standalone AI writers. Resellers of another company's platform, and services whose pages show they no longer sell, are left out too. One product gets one entry: a platform with several country sites, or one that has changed its name, is listed once under its current name.

Category membership needs evidence. A platform joins Email Marketing Platforms With a Free Plan because its pages describe the free plan, joins Email Marketing Apps for Shopify because its pages describe the Shopify integration, and joins a regional category because its pages say where it works or where it keeps customer data. We do not infer those things from a logo on a homepage.

How the write-ups are written

Almost every write-up is built from the platform's own published pages: pricing pages, feature and integration pages, help centers, API documentation and legal pages. A price, sending limit, contact allowance or data location appears only when those pages state it, and it is attributed to them. Where a platform's own site could not be read, a write-up may draw on published pages about it elsewhere, and says so. We have not sent campaigns through these platforms or measured their deliverability, and the write-ups do not pretend otherwise.

How listings are ordered

Within a category, the email platforms most marketing teams already know and use come first. Star ratings, where shown, come from visitors.

Money

Platforms are not charged to be listed. An outbound link may be an affiliate link, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy after clicking. That does not change which platforms are listed or what their write-ups say.

Suggestions and corrections

If a platform is missing, you can suggest it through the submission form. If a listing has a fact wrong, or a platform has changed its prices or plans, send a note through the contact form. It is the only way to reach us.
