What Insider One is
Insider One, whose older useinsider.com address now leads to the same site, is a customer engagement platform that runs email alongside web personalization, app messaging, web push, SMS and RCS, WhatsApp, site search and conversational tools. Its email product covers promotional campaigns, newsletters, welcome series, re-engagement sends and transactional messages such as order confirmations, the five types its own email FAQ lists. The buyer is a marketing or customer engagement team at a larger brand: the industries the site names are retail and ecommerce, financial services, travel and hospitality, beauty and cosmetics, automotive and telecommunications.
The about page describes a company with 2,000+ customers, 1,500+ team members, 50+ nationalities and a presence in 30+ cities, led by a group of co-founders with regional executives for North America, the UK and EMEA. The platform page says the system handles 1.6 billion emails and 40 billion push notifications a month across more than a billion user profiles. Everything is sold through a demo and a sales conversation.
Building and sending email
The editor works two ways. Marketers drag and drop text, images and other elements into a layout, and anyone who wants full control can switch to code. A real-time preview shows how the message renders on different devices, and the deliverability section of the email page mentions previews across 100+ devices. Before launch you can review an email in the platform or send a test to your own inbox using any user profile ID, so personalized fields show real customer values rather than placeholders, without publishing or duplicating the campaign.
The email page makes most of what Insider One calls real-time personalization upon open. Instead of a message fixed at send time, an email can carry embedded forms, countdowns, carousels and accordions that adapt inside the inbox when the recipient opens it. A countdown shows the time that is actually left, and a carousel lets a reader browse products without leaving the email.
Testing uses A/B/n experiments: several variants go out at once and the platform then serves the top performer automatically based on live results. Send time optimization picks the hour each recipient is most likely to open.
AI features in the email product
The email page groups its AI tools under generative and predictive headings. Content generation writes subject lines and body copy. Product recommendations add cross-sell and upsell blocks based on each subscriber's behavior. Predictive segments target people by expected behavior, including likelihood to purchase or churn, customer lifetime value and discount affinity. AI localization translates and localizes a campaign in one click into each recipient's preferred language, and the editor can generate visuals. Above the channel products sits Agent One, which the site calls a self-optimizing intelligence system, with Agent One Teams and Agent One Audiences as named parts of it.
A customer quote on the platform page praises the platform's AI-powered segmentation and says the platform learns from customer behavior to identify which products and services interest each customer.
Audiences, data and deliverability
Insider One says its email solution is built with a customer data platform at its core, which joins data from the website, app and connected systems into unified profiles in real time. Segmentation offers 120+ segments, including dynamic, predictive and behavior-based ones. A subscriber health area covers interactive opt-ins, preference management and frequency caps that stop any one person being over-messaged.
On deliverability the email page lists spam tests, the device previews and automated warm-ups to build IP reputation. Under the heading Regional Sending Infrastructure, it says Insider One runs global sending servers assigned by region-specific DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for what it calls GDPR-aligned deliveries. The site also has a security page that links to its information security policy and to a SOC 2 examination for Insider. Reporting runs through dashboards that track performance, revenue and subscriber health, with proactive insights added on top.
Other channels
Email is one of 12+ channels the platform page counts, including app messaging, web push, SMS and RCS, WhatsApp, InStory, site search, conversational CX, and activation toward TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. The SMS and RCS product covers promotions, bulk messages and transactional updates, offers 60+ pre-approved message templates, and includes free short URLs and no-cost unsubscribe links. Its opt-in templates include gamified forms. Because all channels read the same customer profiles, a journey can move a customer from an email to an SMS or a WhatsApp message based on what they did, and the journey orchestration product is where those flows are built.
Integrations
The integrations page lists 100+ connectors across twenty categories. Ecommerce covers Shopify, Shopify Plus, VTEX and Kobe. The CRM list includes Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HubSpot CRM, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, SugarCRM, Freshworks CRM and Oracle NetSuite. Data sources include Segment, mParticle, Tealium, Treasure Data, Amperity, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon S3, Hightouch, Census, a webhook and FTP. Analytics and attribution connectors include Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Contentsquare, Adjust, Branch and AppsFlyer, and for automation the site lists n8n and Workato.
The page also lists connectors to other email tools, among them Oracle Responsys, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse, Listrak, Dotdigital and Emarsys, which is useful for a team that will run Insider One next to an existing sender or move off one gradually. Support desks include Zendesk, Freshdesk and ServiceNow, and there is Twilio SMS. The platform page says new data sources can be onboarded in a few clicks.
Pricing, migration and support
The site publishes no prices; Insider One quotes through a demo. What the company does advertise is its $0 Migration Movement, described as migration without fear, lock-in or hidden costs, and a quick migration service on the email page that says teams can be running in weeks, with an automatic migrator tool for templates and contacts. The about page mentions white-glove migration and rapid onboarding as part of what it calls the Insider One Advantage.
Support is local. The email page promises email experts organized by region who work in your language and timezone. The site itself is published in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. Beyond that there is a help center, the Insider One Academy for training, a product demo hub with 80+ self-guided demos that need no form, and a partner program.
Who it suits
Insider One suits a mid-size or enterprise brand, especially in retail, travel, finance or telecoms, that wants email to be one channel in a single personalization platform rather than a separate tool. Teams that care about open-time content, predictive segments, AI translation and local support in their own language get the most from it, as do teams moving off another enterprise email platform and taking up the migration offer.
It is a poor fit for a solo newsletter writer or a small shop that wants to sign up online, see a price per contact and send the same afternoon. The platform assumes a sales process, an onboarding period and enough customer data to feed its segmentation and recommendations.
