Revotas is a customer experience platform (CXP) with email marketing automation at its core, sold to e-commerce managers, digital marketers and CRM managers. Its homepage says the platform lets you "Orchestrate campaigns triggered by real-time customer behavior using Revotas CXP," across web, email and mobile channels. The company has a long record in email: its Turkish blog, which dates back to 2012, carries years of posts on email marketing, bulk sending and deliverability, and a press release on the same blog presents Revotas's CRM-focused marketing automation solutions. The industries it names are retail, e-commerce, finance, travel, insurance and automotive, and the customers quoted on the homepage include Toyota, Altınbaş, Elite World Hotels and Miele.
What a sender gets
The product menu splits Revotas into three groups. The AI-based products are E-mail Marketing, Marketing Automation, Web Push, Smart Widget, Recommendation, Personalized Search and CRM Ads. The CX platform layer covers the Customer Experience Platform itself, Customer Experience Management, Personalization, a Customer Data Platform, Segmentation, Behavioral Analysis and Customer Journey Management. Services consist of Customer Success Management.
For email, the channel description is short: "Meet with e-mail automation. Harness the power of personalized email." The footer lists Email Marketing Automations as a solution in its own right, alongside Orchestration Marketing and Marketing Automation. What the homepage adds is how the email is personalized. It promises dynamic content across "Email, SMS, Webpush," personalized web pages and notifications, and "a truly personalized experience across all channels and touchpoints." Segments are built from behavior: the homepage says you can "Create migro segments based on demographics, activity and purchase behavior" (its spelling), and that the platform will "Predict likely purchase behavior and use AI to adjust results in real-time based on individual behaviors."
The other channels support the same approach. Web is pitched as a way to "Turn a static website into a dynamic customer experience with artificial intelligence," through web push, smart widgets, product recommendations and personalized search. Mobile promises "real-time personalized customer experiences across any mobile device." Ads, under the CRM Ads product, lets you "Reach your users with ads by segmenting the customer database," so the segments you build for email can also drive advertising.
The homepage sums up the method in three steps. Know your audience, to "take the personalization to a whole new level" with the platform. Increase conversion, using "data-driven insights gained from each consumer’s behavioral data." And discover the customer journey: "Identify your highest value subscribers and active consumers, then deliver targeted messages to increase lifetime value." Behind all three is data collection "from every touch point," which the homepage describes as a "consumer-centric, data-driven approach that automatically personalizes messages at the individual level to increase engagement and loyalty."
Industry use cases
Each industry on the homepage comes with a one-line use case. Retailers are told to align campaigns across channels for a sustainable customer experience. E-commerce sites are promised a simpler customer journey for their visitors. Finance brands are offered one-on-one communication through marketing automation to build loyalty. Travel companies can give visitors personalized travel recommendations based on their behavior. Insurers can offer policies based on customers' needs. And automotive brands can recommend new products, warranties and test drives based on where each customer is in their lifecycle.
Consultancy and customer results
Revotas sells consulting alongside the software, and its testimonials lean on that. Toyota's CRM and digital experience manager says Revotas's consultancy improved how the company monitors the effectiveness of its campaigns, so it can "produce more successful campaigns in a shorter time." A marketing manager at Altınbaş describes a support team that helps structure its strategies and says the suggestions show Revotas sees the company as a partner. At Elite World Hotels, the marketing manager credits a Revotas integration with the Opera hotel management system with growing the hotel group's data by 50%, which let the team segment guests quickly and send personalized emails. Miele's e-commerce sales manager, whose company aims to give customers the same quality of service "both globally and in Turkey," says the solutions and consultancy services helped the company grow its online data and users and increase its e-commerce turnover.
What the blog says about sending
The Turkish blog gives a sense of how Revotas thinks about email. A 2015 post argues that bulk mail sent to people who never gave their address with consent is not email marketing ("Toplu Mail Gönderimi, Email Marketing Değildir!", bulk mail sending is not email marketing). Other posts cover the factors that shape IP reputation, including the domain and IP address, spam and fraud complaints, open and click rates, sending to invalid and spam-trap addresses, list hygiene and the sending history of the domain and IP. One warns that Gmail began flagging messages signed with DKIM keys of 512 bits or less, and others explain why a business should never buy an email list and which words tend to trigger spam filters. A post for tourism sites recommends learning subscribers' interests up front through a "hoş geldiniz serisi" (welcome series) or a contact form and shaping content around them. The blog's categories include an email marketing training program, a spam guide, lifecycle marketing, email design and coding, and e-commerce law, and it also announced the launch of a Revotas Performance Hub. Taken together, these posts put Revotas firmly on the permission-based side of email marketing.
Pricing, plans and support
The site publishes no prices; the English homepage offers a demo request and the Turkish menu a quote request ("Teklif AL"). The footer links to an information security page and a privacy policy, the company page links to a Revotas profile on G2, and the resources section offers success stories, e-books and RevoTalks, a series of conversations with people from the e-commerce industry.
Who it suits
Revotas fits a mid-sized or large consumer brand, especially in retail, e-commerce, travel, hospitality or automotive, that wants email automation driven by behavioral segments and wants a vendor to help design the strategy, not just supply the tool. The Toyota, Miele and Elite World Hotels quotes all describe that kind of consulting-led relationship, and the Opera integration story will interest hotel groups in particular. Its Turkish blog and customer list point to a strong base in Turkey, with an English site for international buyers.
A small business that wants a self-serve newsletter tool with a published price list will not find one here, since every route into Revotas runs through a demo or a quote.
