What Cured is
Cured is a marketing platform built only for healthcare. It combines a consumer data platform with a CRM and digital marketing product, and health systems and provider organizations use it to email and text patients and prospective patients across the whole care relationship. The home page sums up the goal as putting "consumers at the center of the healthcare experience to drive better outcomes and revenue growth," and calls the platform "your centralized growth tool to engage patients in powerful digital channels." The footer lists Boulder, Chicago and Indianapolis as the company's locations. The home page banner says Cured was "Recognized as 2026 best in KLAS CRM®" and links to the report.
Email is the heart of the offer, but it sits inside a wider product line. The products menu names a consumer data platform, CRM and digital marketing, an access center, provider relationship management and physician relationship management. This entry is about the CRM and digital marketing side, the part that sends campaigns.
What a sender gets
Audiences from healthcare data. Campaigns start with the consumer data platform. The home page promises to "harness real-time healthcare data to easily build impactful audiences." Cured's HIPAA email guide adds detail: the platform "offers propensity models that leverage machine learning to predict each person’s propensity to consume care in a specific service line or to convert from a prospect into a patient." In practice a marketer can target the people most likely to need a given service line, or the prospects most likely to become patients, instead of sending the same newsletter to everyone.
Pre-built campaigns. The biggest time saver is the campaign library. The home page tells teams to "implement 80+ pre-built campaigns to unlock growth across patient journeys" and to "send top-performing journeys with 80+ pre-built templates, strategies, and execution flows." The library is organized around three goals, each with named examples:
- Growth, to bring new people into the organization: general inquiry, appointment request, download guide, new clinic opening, virtual care availability and facility tour request.
- Activation, to help patients make informed decisions: pre-visit reminders, newsletter, no-show follow-up, value-based care, continued care, and Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
- Loyalty and retention: welcome series, birthday emails, preventative checklist, post-visit survey, patient portal sign-up and new service awareness.
The site calls these "curations," and the guide refers to "our library of 80+ pre-built curations." For a marketing team at a health system, that list reads like a year's campaign calendar that does not have to be designed from a blank page. The resources section also offers a downloadable healthcare marketing calendar with seasonal dates and themes.
Automation. The home page frames sending as automated, best-practice campaigns: "launch automated, best practice campaigns efficiently for faster, more efficient growth." Journeys run as multi-step flows rather than one-off blasts.
Channels. Cured's guide talks about patients turning to "digital channels, specifically email and SMS, for healthcare communications," and the platform's campaigns are built for those two channels.
AI features. Two are named. The first is an "AI-powered subject line curator, which uses email copy to produce five optimized subject line options." The guide says: "The generated subject lines adhere to HIPAA regulations, avoid spam risks, and drive 32% higher open rates than handwritten ones." That matters because, as the same guide points out, HIPAA does not permit PHI in a subject line, not even a patient's first name, so personalization belongs in the body. The second is Cured Intelligence, which, the home page says, "analyzes your data to drive results and generate actionable insights at scale with speed and accuracy." The home page also credits a technology called Gravity with turning "complex healthcare marketing into orchestrated, measurable full-funnel patient growth."
Reporting. The site promises "in-platform reporting that delivers patient conversion results" and "defensible marketing metrics and ROI at your fingertips." The pitch is aimed at marketers who need to show leadership that campaigns led to scheduled visits, not just opens.
Security and compliance, in Cured's words
Cured's HIPAA-compliant email marketing guide is where the company lays out its security position, and it is specific. It says: "We are proud to be a HITRUST-certified vendor, which is currently the most stringent healthcare certification available. We have also received SOC 2 Type 1 and 2 certifications." It explains the difference as the company sees it: SOC 2 Type 1 evaluates security at a point in time, while Type 2 audits that Cured follows its stated practices on an ongoing basis. The guide says HITRUST certification "allows Cured to confidently store PHI and enable our customers to use it appropriately."
Other controls named in the guide:
- Encryption: the guide cites TLS and end-to-end encryption, and says a compliant solution must encrypt all PHI at rest and protect it in transit.
- Server security: emails are sent and stored on servers with stringent security measures.
- Consent management: transparent opt-in, opt-out procedures and clear data usage disclosures, which the guide ties to protecting send reputation.
- User authentication: multi-factor authentication limits access to the platform and to any PHI used for campaign personalization.
The guide also makes a point buyers in this sector should weigh: a vendor's willingness to sign a Business Associate Agreement "does not necessarily mean they allow you to store, manage, or use PHI in their platforms." Cured's argument is that its certifications, not just a signed agreement, are what let customers personalize email bodies with patient data. The resources list includes posts on CAN-SPAM compliance, a pre-send checklist, subject lines and calls to action.
Results and customers
The home page shows three customer stories. One cites "1m patient interactions per month." Another reports a "1.8x increase in scheduled appointments." Amanda Preimesberger, MD, an owner and primary care physician, says "cured is proactive and makes sure I meet whatever goals I have." Stewart Hinrichsen, executive director of network management, says "cured dramatically reduced the administrative burden on our staff," and marketing manager Erin Joson calls it "pretty simple, a breath of fresh air." The company says it is "trusted by leading healthcare organizations to increase revenue and improve patient outcomes."
Pricing and integrations
Cured publishes no prices. The site offers a "request pricing" button next to a platform tour and a demo booking, so expect a quote after a sales conversation. The platform menu lists an integrations page, but the home page and the email guide name no specific systems.
Who it suits
Cured fits health systems and multi-site provider organizations that want to run patient acquisition, activation and retention email from their own patient data, and that need a vendor whose HITRUST and SOC 2 standing lets them use PHI to personalize messages. A marketing team that wants a ready library of healthcare journeys, from Medicare outreach to no-show follow-up, gets a strong head start.
It is a less natural choice for a business outside healthcare, which would pay for compliance machinery it does not need, and for a very small practice that wants to sign up online and send a newsletter the same day. The demo-and-quote sales process points at organizations with a marketing team and a budget to match.
