What CareCloud is
CareCloud is a customer data platform and CRM with built-in campaign and automation tools that send email, SMS and push notifications. It is made by Cortex, a.s., whose headquarters address on the site is U Elektry 974/1c, Praha 9. The home page calls it "the only Customer Data Platform / CDP & CRM perfectly adjusted for retail, pharma industry, hospitality, eshops, entertainment and more", and that list describes the buyer well: brands with many shops, pharmacies, restaurants, hotels or venues that want one customer record behind their loyalty program and their messaging. Email is one channel inside a larger system rather than a standalone newsletter tool, and the site frames the pitch that way: "Don't spend resources on expensive standalone marketing tools." The home page counts "1.9k+" customers and describes itself as a "Genuine Local Solution for Global Players".
The data layer underneath the email
Everything in CareCloud starts with the customer data platform. The home page says it is "designed to collect multi-source data, provide insights, recommendations, and a complete view of each customer for the different departments of your company and all customer touchpoints." Data from every contact point feeds one persistent, real-time customer database, which is then shared with the other applications and with teams across the company. The practical effect for an email sender is that segments and triggers can draw on purchase history, loyalty activity and web behavior at once, rather than on a mailing list that lives apart from the sales data.
The Customer 360 View application puts all of a customer's data on one screen. The site names the kinds of detail it shows: campaign response, RFM criteria, lifetime value and social network interactions. RFM (recency, frequency, monetary value) segmentation and Net Promoter Score also appear as their own entries under the site's performance solutions.
Building and sending campaigns
The Campaigns & Segmentation application covers segmentation, omnichannel campaign preparation and execution. The home page describes building a promotion in minutes: marketers can create a push or SMS notification, design a template for a whole email or assemble one from building blocks, and put it together in an "intuitive drag and drop designer." Email, SMS and push are prepared in the same place, so a promotion can go out on several channels from one campaign rather than being rebuilt in three tools.
Segments can also be built automatically. The marketing automation page says teams can "use the power of data to create automated customer lists for your marketing campaigns," which suits a retailer that wants a list of lapsed buyers or high spenders to refresh itself instead of being exported by hand.
Automation and ready-made workflows
The Marketing Automation application runs automated scenarios with personalized content. Its dedicated page opens with "Trigger your email marketing, automate Push notifications, or get higher engagement with SMS," and adds that workflows can target customers with messages matched to their current phase of the customer journey. The site's line for the idea is that automation "allows your team to work smart, not hard," leaving execution to the system while the team works on strategy.
For teams that do not want to design every journey from scratch, CareCloud ships pre-made workflows. The page says: "Choose from 29 out-of-the-box workflows focused on onboarding, purchase follow-up, retention, and loyalty situations of your customers." The same page names drip marketing, abandoned carts and automatic customer segmentation among the use cases the pre-built flows cover.
The page carries a disclaimer that its stated percentages and results are what a proactive, dedicated team can expect after 18 months of intensive use of all CareCloud applications, which is a fair signal that the platform is meant to be worked, not switched on.
Web behavior tracking without a developer
The Customer Engagement module tracks what customers do on a website. The site says teams choose which customer events matter most and track them "through the CareCloud interface without the need for API integration. Just copy the code onto your website, and CareCloud will do the rest." Those events then feed segmentation, automation and rewards distribution. For an email program this is the difference between sending on a schedule and sending because a known customer looked at a product or category.
Loyalty, reservations and prediction
Three further applications sit beside the messaging tools and explain why the platform appeals to physical businesses.
The Loyalty Engine lets a brand design its customer program "in any way to fit your brand" and administer every part of it from one centralized administration. For pharma, the home page says CareCloud increases recurrent spending through the loyalty engine and distributes customer benefits online to every point of sale and other touchpoints.
Reservation Management handles free rooms, tables or slots. Staff can manage bookings, or guests can reserve online. Automated scenarios remind guests about an approaching reservation and let them adjust it, so freed slots can be offered to other guests. For a restaurant group or hotel this puts booking reminders in the same system as the marketing email.
The Analysis & Prediction application offers customizable analyses and, the site says, goes "two steps further to predict future purchase behaviour and recommend customers their favourite products." Those predictions are meant to feed personalization in campaigns and to help plan product combinations. The navigation also lists an "AI Abigail Marketing Engine" among the applications, though the home page does not describe what it does.
A Customer & User Experience area rounds this out: the site talks about designing variable websites, emails and product offers from CDP data so that each touchpoint matches the customer.
Industries it is built for
The site names four verticals and gives each a short case. Pharma: CareCloud "grows customer relationships in thousands of pharmacies." Retail: it "drives more sales in retail across Europe" through omnichannel campaign orchestration that brings all communication channels together. Hospitality: it helps customers return to "thousands of restaurants and hotels" through the loyalty and reservation applications. Entertainment: centralized administration of communication, promotions and the customer program, with recommendation and prediction features. Solutions are also sorted by scale and by role in the menu.
The home page quotes one client, Marian K. of Gopass, who singles out "the people behind it" and says the team can rely on sound advice whenever an issue comes up.
Pricing, data protection and support
The home page and the automation page print no prices. Both route pricing through a contact form that invites visitors to ask about anything from the product description and pricing to their customers and business, after which one of the company's experts gets in touch. Expect a sales conversation and a quote rather than a self-serve plan.
On data protection, the site's Legal & Certificates section links to a Data Protection & GDPR page and to an Integrated Management System page. The contact form notes that submitted data is processed by Cortex and deleted once the request is handled unless both sides agree otherwise.
For developers, the resources menu lists an Integration section and a PHP Academy, and the footer links to a developer area. Users get a forum, a support link, tips and tricks, tutorials, release notes and a CareCloud news blog. The site is available in English and Czech.
Who it suits
CareCloud fits a multi-location business whose email program depends on loyalty and purchase data: a pharmacy chain, a retail network, a restaurant or hotel group, or an entertainment venue with a customer program. Such a buyer gets email, SMS and push, 29 ready workflows, reservation reminders and a loyalty engine on one customer record, with no need to glue separate tools together. A solo newsletter writer or a small online shop that wants to sign up and send the same afternoon is not the audience; the quote-based sales process and the breadth of the system point at teams that will spend time setting it up and working it.
