Actito
Tap a star to rate
Actito is a customer engagement platform for brands that want marketing email, transactional email and a long list of other channels run from one place, with the customer data and the journey logic sitting next to the sending. The home page calls it "The Agentic Customer Engagement Platform", says it is "Built in Europe, trusted by 400+ brands", and promises personalized journeys "across 11 channels". Actito is one of the brands of Ibexa, which holds the copyright on the site and lists Actito beside Cohesivo, Quable, Qualifio and Raptor in its brand menu. The About section's story runs "From 2000 to today", and one customer case says Deutsche Bank Belgium has run automated campaigns on Actito since 2006.
What a sender gets
Email is the channel the home page calls "the cornerstone of customer relationships", and the promise for it is concrete: fine-tuned segmentation, dynamic content, an intuitive builder, and deliverability optimization included. The company's own blog post on customer engagement platforms, which says Actito belongs to the advanced group that manages its channels itself, spells out what the email side should hold: a responsive template builder, dynamic personalization, email rendering tests across clients and devices, and performance figures for opens, clicks, reactivity and unsubscribes.
Around email sit the other channels. The home page lists eleven of them in one grid:
- email, and transactional email and SMS for order confirmations and password resets, "delivered with reliability, speed, and full traceability"
- SMS, described as "ideal for critical or promotional messages"
- push for apps and browsers, to reach users when they are off the site
- in-app messages and pop-ups shown inside a site or app
- WhatsApp, through a native integration for conversational exchanges
- RCS, marked "coming soon" and described as the next generation of SMS with rich, visual messages
- digital wallet passes for offers, coupons and privilege cards
- audience ads, which push the brand's own CRM data into targeting on Google Ads and social networks
- call center follow-up, and personalized print mail for VIP segments or key lifecycle moments
The point of the grid is orchestration. The home page says a brand can "Build once, activate everywhere, with real-time triggers and behavioural logic that adapts as customers act." The customer cases show what that looks like in practice. Libération built a four-segment anti-churn program that reaches monthly payers, active cancellers, lapsed payers and inactive new subscribers across email, in-app and SMS. Daxon, which had been sending at least one blanket promotional email a day to its whole opt-in base, moved to 30 trigger scenarios on Actito (welcome, birthday, post-visit and cart abandonment among them), added SMS and web push, and says it resolved the deliverability blacklisting it had run into. BNP Paribas Epargne and Retraite Entreprises used a 4-email onboarding journey for 32,000 new employee savers, segmented by plan type and employee status.
Data is the third pillar in the menu ("Collect, unify, and segment your data"). The blog post lists what it says a platform of Actito's kind should hold: native connectors that bring in data from CRM, website, apps and back-office systems, deduplication and matching into one customer view, customizable data models, segmentation by decision tree, a cross-channel journey editor, a rules engine that fires actions from profile and behavior, and A/B testing to adjust journeys over time. It also names Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure and Databricks as the kind of cloud data platforms such a system should connect to.
Transactional mail and the API
The French blog post on transactional email is the most technical page on the site. It says Actito chose PowerMTA to send transactional email over SMTP from Actito's own infrastructure, and that technical teams can call the same infrastructure through the API from an ERP, CRM or e-commerce system "sans prise de tête dans la configuration" (without configuration headaches), with first-line support to guide them. It advises a dedicated domain or subdomain for transactional mail, separate IP addresses for transactional and marketing traffic, and correct DKIM, SPF and DMARC setup, and it says Actito users get deliverability experts plus tools to work on infrastructure quality and IP reputation. The site menu adds a developer portal with API documentation, user documentation, and a public Actito status page.
AI agents
The AI story is new. The home page says Actito is building AI agents on the Ibexa Agentic Marketing Platform, natively connected, with a first group of customers already using them ahead of a general release on 12 January 2027. Three agents come first: one builds a campaign comparison report from campaigns you pick, one turns a single brief into copy for every segment, and one adapts an email into SMS, WhatsApp and push versions. They are called from the Actito AI Assistant, and the page says nothing goes out until a person approves it.
Security, deliverability and results the site claims
The site says Actito is an "ISO27001-certified SaaS solution with GDPR and NIS 2 compliance". On data location it is unusually direct: "Built and hosted in Europe, Actito has GDPR compliance embedded at the architecture level", and "Your data stays in Europe. Always." Deliverability is sold as a service with people behind it; the home page claims "99%+" and credits a dedicated deliverability infrastructure and expert team.
The results figures are the company's own. The home page quotes a 50% average open rate and a 12% average click rate across its customer stories. BNP Paribas reports a 49% open rate, a 16% click rate and 70% account activation on its onboarding journey. Libération reports a 69% SMS churn save rate, and Daxon reports 30% more email revenue in 12 months and 20k web push opt-ins in six months. The home page also cites a G2 rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 152 verified reviews.
Plans, pricing and support
The footer links a Pricing page, but the home page and blog show no plan or price; every call to action is "Request a demo" or "Get a demo", so expect a quote after a sales conversation. Support runs through a technical support contact, the user documentation, and a network of certified business partners who handle implementation. A technology ecosystem page covers integrations; the home page says Actito has "native connectors for the most common CRM, e-commerce, and data platforms" without naming them there. The site is published in English and French.
Who it suits
Actito fits a mid-sized or large consumer brand in Europe that wants email, transactional mail, SMS, push and WhatsApp driven from one customer view, with European hosting and an ISO 27001 certificate it can show its own security team. The customer list leans that way: banks, a newspaper, retailers and a campsite operator. Retailers moving from daily blasts to triggered journeys, publishers fighting subscription churn, and financial firms that need onboarding journeys with tight data handling are the stories the site chooses to tell.
It suits a team that wants help, too. Deliverability experts, certified partners and quarterly optimization sessions (Deutsche Bank's case mentions them) are part of the offer.
It is the wrong tool for a solo newsletter writer, a small shop that wants to sign up with a card and send tonight, or anyone comparing list prices, because there is no self-serve plan and no published price. A developer who only needs a transactional API can use Actito's, but will be buying a whole engagement platform to get it.
