What Noptin is
Noptin is a WordPress plugin for newsletters and email automation that runs inside your own site. It collects subscribers through forms, popups and checkboxes, sends one-time bulk emails, new post notifications and digests, and runs automation rules, and its current homepage leads with AI: "Email marketing that writes itself". The page title calls it an "AI Newsletter & Email Automation Plugin for WordPress". It is aimed at WordPress site owners, from bloggers to WooCommerce stores and membership sites, who want email marketing without moving their list to a separate platform. The homepage says it is "Trusted by 15,000+ websites", and the footer names the company as Noptin LTD.
AI-written emails and courses
The AI features sit at the top of the homepage. It says: "No one wants to read boring emails in 2026. Noptin AI generates unique, beautiful newsletters, automations, and full email courses in seconds." For a single email, you describe your topic and Noptin AI designs an on-brand email around it; the page advertises this as "AI generated in 3 seconds". Each message is "freshly created by AI, not copied from templates", which the company says keeps a list engaged and improves deliverability, and it sums this up as "100% unique every send".
The course feature is the more distinctive one. You can "Create free or paid drip courses with one prompt", and Noptin AI "writes each lesson and schedules delivery automatically". For a site that uses a short email course as a lead magnet, or sells one, that turns a multi-day sequence into a single request, and the result still runs from your own WordPress install.
Collecting subscribers
Noptin offers three main capture methods on the homepage. Subscription checkboxes can be added "to your contact forms, comment forms, user registration forms, or checkout forms", so an existing form becomes an opt-in point. Popup forms are unlimited and can appear "when someone clicks on an element, is about to leave, or scrolls x% of a page". Standard subscription forms can be placed "below your blog post, footer, sidebar, or any other place on your site that accepts shortcodes or blocks". The site menu also lists sections on subscribers, email templates, email deliverability, a multilingual newsletter and a WooCommerce newsletter.
Sending to subscribers, users and customers
Noptin sends "personalized one-time bulk emails or automated new post notifications and digest emails" to three kinds of audience. For WordPress users, you can "send bulk emails to all your WordPress users or only those with specific roles or memberships". For WooCommerce customers, "You can filter recipients by their purchases, addresses, or subscriptions". For newsletter subscribers, "You can limit recipients by their tags, custom fields, or subscription methods". That split matters for a store or membership site, because the people you want to reach are often already WordPress users or customers rather than a separate subscriber list.
Automation rules
Automation is built from no-code rules: you specify actions to run whenever something happens. The homepage lists the common uses: welcome emails to new subscribers, users and customers; adding contact form submissions to your CRM or email provider; notifying commenters when their comments get replies; tagging contacts in your CRM when they buy certain products and untagging them when an order is refunded; automated review reminder emails; unique coupon codes for new subscribers, users or customers; alerts when a customer's payment card is about to expire; and syncing WordPress users with your CRM or email service provider. The homepage calls Noptin "Versatile" and says it "works for simple setups or complex automated email marketing systems".
Integrations
Integrations are a large part of the offer. The homepage says "60+ Integrations Included" and that "All integrations come bundled with no extra cost", naming WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, Mailchimp and HubSpot among them. The "Works well with others" list covers form plugins (Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Formidable Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Forminator), page builders (Elementor, Divi Builder, Beaver Builder, Bricks Builder, Brizy), learning platforms (LearnDash, LifterLMS, Tutor LMS, LearnPress), membership plugins (MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, Ultimate Member, WishList Member), commerce (WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads) and translation plugins (WPML and Polylang), among others.
You can use Noptin "as a standalone CRM or connect it to an external CRM", and when you connect one, the plugins above get connected to it by default. The CRM and email provider list includes ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Brevo (Sendinblue), Campaign Monitor, ConvertKit, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, MailerLite, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Sendy, Zoho CRM and others, plus Google Sheets, Slack, Telegram, Twilio and webhooks. Help articles on the homepage cover sending automated WooCommerce emails, sending a WooCommerce coupon to new subscribers and connecting Gravity Forms or Elementor to an email provider.
Paid newsletters
Noptin can run a paid newsletter together with Paid Memberships Pro. The homepage says: "This way, you own all your data and avoid paying high commission fees." An earnings calculator on the page shows the example of 500 subscribers at $9 a month producing $54,000 a year. That is the company's illustration of the model, not a fee Noptin charges.
Data, privacy and site speed
Because Noptin is a plugin, subscriber data lives in your own WordPress install. The homepage's feature table marks it "Self-hosted & GDPR Ready" and lists subscriber limits as unlimited. On speed, the page describes the plugin as "Lightweight" with "zero impact on site speed", and its table puts site speed impact at near zero; the company's explanation is that "Noptin stays fast by utilizing your existing plugins instead of reinventing everything". These are the company's claims about its own plugin.
Pricing and support
The homepage publishes no plan prices; pricing sits on its own page, linked from the menu. The footer links to a refund policy, a support policy, documentation, a roadmap and a contact page. Testimonials on the homepage come from a WordPress developer in Germany, a digital marketer in the United Kingdom who praises the tech support, and a US blogger who uses it to email subscribers with each new blog post.
Who Noptin suits
Noptin suits a WordPress site owner who wants the list, the forms and the sends in one place: a blogger sending new post notifications, a WooCommerce store sending coupons and review reminders, a course or membership site that wants drip courses written with AI, or a publisher trying a paid newsletter through Paid Memberships Pro. The long integration list makes it a practical glue layer for a site that already runs Gravity Forms, Elementor or LearnDash and wants signups to reach a CRM.
It does not suit anyone outside WordPress, and a team that wants to write every email by hand should know that the current product is built around AI generation.
