eCampaignPro is a self-service email flyer platform for real estate professionals, built mainly for agents who want to put their listings in front of other agents. Its homepage title is "Real Estate Email Flyers to other Agents", and the About page calls it "the leading provider of self-service real estate email flyers and email marketing products for real estate professionals across the US, Canada and Europe." It is owned and operated by XL Technologies, a privately held company the About page says was founded in 2001 by Robert Dodd (CEO) and Joe Solano (COO). Beyond listing flyers, the site offers solutions for recruiting, mortgage marketing, product and service marketing, design services and landing pages.

What a sender actually gets

The homepage describes the work in four steps: identify your target market, pick your email flyer, personalize your campaign, track your results.

The first step is what sets eCampaignPro apart. A sender can import their own list, or build one from what the company calls its "proprietary database of 1.1 million real estate agents." The features page says a sender gets access to "an unlimited list of 1.1 million agents" and can target agents "specific to your county, city, or zip code area"; the homepage adds filtering by state. That is how a listing agent tells every agent in a market about a new listing, a broker's open or a price reduction without building that list themselves.

Templates come next. The features page promises "150+ professionally-designed real estate email flyer templates", and the homepage says a monthly subscription includes access to hundreds of customizable email flyers, postcards, newsletters and more, all mobile-optimized. There are three ways to build a flyer: pick a template from the library, upload your own design ("You can even upload one from another company!"), or paste code into the HTML editor. The step-by-step builder changes text, images, buttons, links, fonts, colors and layout with a few clicks, and the site says "Zero design or tech skills needed."

Personalization and targeting go further than geography. Merge tags add a personal touch to each email, and segmented lists let a sender deliver "hyper-targeted campaigns to people who have previously opened or clicked your emails." Custom call-to-action buttons carry links, and every click is tracked. A mini-CRM keeps campaigns and leads organized, with contact details and notes on each interaction.

Campaign management sits in "One, organized hub" where a sender can create, send, resend and schedule campaigns. The features page says that once a campaign is scheduled, "you don't need to waste any more time. Just wait and let the leads come to you." Flyers can also be shared to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest through built-in integrations, "without leaving eCampaignPro."

Reporting

Reporting covers opens, link clicks, forwards and unsubscribes on the homepage, and the features page adds click-through rates, call-back requests and more. The real-time analytics show who opened an email, which links worked best and "the contact information of each lead", so a sender can follow up with the agents who showed interest. For listing agents there is a useful extra: "customizable campaign summary reports highlighting all of your efforts in marketing their listing", which the homepage presents as a way to impress sellers.

Deliverability and anti-spam

Delivery is covered by a guarantee. Under the heading "Premium inbox placement", the homepage says eCampaignPro "maximizes the chances your email flyers are delivered by carefully following best email delivery practices. On the off chance that an email isn't received by your recipient, you won't be charged at all." The cost comparison page repeats the point, marking "Pay for Undeliverables" as "No" for eCampaignPro against "Yes" for direct mail, newspapers and magazines.

The anti-spam policy says unsolicited commercial email violates the terms of service, that the company "employs strict anti-spam policies and procedures and enforces them rigorously", and that it only allows customers "who comply with permission guidelines" to use the service. Abuse reports go to a dedicated address.

Pricing and landing pages

The site does not print a plan table on these pages, but it does give figures. A banner says "For less than $1.00 a day, eCampaignPro helps you reach hundreds of qualified real estate agents in your area", and an exit offer promises to "Save 20% on our most popular plan." The cost comparison page puts eCampaignPro's cost per recipient at 1¢, against 50¢ to $1.00 for direct mail, and estimates a response of 2% to 10% for email against 1% to 3% for direct mail. The features page adds "A lifetime of free software updates", and the About page says the product is also sold through a growing list of channel partners.

Landing pages are a separate design service "From $299." A sender works directly with a personal designer, the page is hosted on the company's cloud servers, optimized for loading time and responsive on all devices, and it can be integrated with an eCampaignPro email campaign. Custom domain help is available, and billing follows a "Pay when you're happy" rule: "Not satisfied with the design? Don't pay."

Support and customers

Support runs by text chat and phone from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and by email from 9am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. The About page describes the company's "Uncompromising Support" and says it has "thousands of customers across the US, Canada and Europe." A free download, "Real Estate Email Marketing: The Insider's Guide", is offered to new visitors.

Testimonials come from agents at Keller Williams Realty, Coldwell Banker, America At Home Real Estate and ARC Real Estate, among others. One Keller Williams agent says: "I always get an increase in showings on my properties after doing a campaign." A broker associate says she has been a customer "for over 10 years" and still uses it every month, and a title company credits it with helping market seminars to Realtors in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia after 2007.

Who it suits

eCampaignPro fits listing agents and brokerages who want to broadcast listings, broker's opens and price reductions to other agents in a county, city or state, and who value a ready-made agent database over building their own. Brokerages recruiting agents can use the same database, and several testimonials mention recruiting results. Mortgage and title professionals marketing to agents are named audiences too.

It is less suited to nurturing an agent's own buyers and sellers with long automated sequences, since the product centers on one-off flyer campaigns, merge tags and segments based on opens and clicks rather than multi-step automation.
