Braze
Tap a star to rate
Braze's Canvas builder lays out a customer journey visually across channels, deciding in real time whether a given user gets a push notification, an email, an in-app Content Card, or nothing at all based on their behavior and attributes. The mobile SDKs are a genuine strength, built for apps where push and in-app messaging carry as much weight as email, which is why Braze shows up disproportionately often at media, gaming, and retail apps with large mobile user bases.
Pricing runs on monthly active users combined with what Braze calls flexible credits, spent on messages sent and certain features used, and none of it is published as a rate card. Reference points from actual contracts put smaller deployments, in the range of 50,000 to 250,000 MAUs, around $30,000 to $60,000 a year, with enterprise accounts running well into six figures. There's no free tier and no self-serve signup. Braze fits a consumer app with a large, active mobile user base and a marketing team that needs channel-by-channel control over a single customer journey, not a smaller business sending occasional campaigns.
