SegmentFlow.ai

Tap a star to rate

SegmentFlow.ai is an email marketing and automation platform that handles campaigns, newsletters, automated journeys and transactional email in one account. It is built first for Shopify and WooCommerce stores, whose products, customers, orders and brand assets it syncs to plan and build emails, but the home page also speaks to any business with a contact list, a website, an app or a CRM. The footer says the company is "Made in Estonia", and the site notes an Estonian startup grant.

Two things set it apart. It uses AI throughout the build, from branded templates to segments written in plain English, and it charges for the number of emails sent each month rather than for the number of contacts stored. The home page sums up the pricing position as "Pay for email volume, not stored contacts."

What a sender actually gets

The home page walks through the workflow in eight steps.

  1. Connect. Import contacts, connect a sending domain, and plug in Shopify, WooCommerce, CRM imports, forms or API events for the business context behind campaigns and automations.
  2. Segment. Connected contacts, store data, CRM imports and customer activity become ready-to-use segments. A sender can start with smart default audiences or "describe who you want to reach in plain English and let AI build the segment rules." A visual rule builder filters by behavior, traits and lifecycle stage.
  3. Prepare. A new sending domain is warmed up before larger sends, with controlled send volume, and built-in suppression "keeps bounced, unsubscribed, and risky recipients out of future campaigns and automations." Bounces are handled automatically and sender reputation is watched over time.
  4. Create. AI generates a branded starting template from the sender's website, which is then edited by hand. The editor covers broadcasts, newsletters, campaign emails, automation messages and transactional templates.
  5. Store. An asset library holds images, product assets, logos, sections and reusable content blocks, hosted so every email can reference them. Product images sync from Shopify or WooCommerce.
  6. Schedule. One calendar plans and sends broadcasts, newsletters, promotions, announcements, launches and seasonal campaigns.
  7. Automate. Ready journeys cover welcome emails, lead magnet delivery, onboarding, abandoned cart, post-purchase, receipts, win-back, renewal and repeat purchase flows.
  8. Measure. Reports track delivery, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, suppression, campaign performance and business impact, with revenue attribution when ecommerce or checkout data is connected.

Several smaller tools support the editor. Brand Guidelines extracts colors, typography and spacing from the sender's website during setup. The font picker offers 24 Google Fonts chosen because they render reliably in email clients. Discount Codes generates Shopify or WooCommerce codes on the fly and drops them straight into a campaign. Deliverability Health watches delivery, bounces, click-rate health, suppression and sending reputation across every campaign and automation, and the analytics dashboards span campaigns, journeys, lead magnets, newsletters, transactional emails and domain warming. A/B testing of subject lines, send times and creative is marked "Coming soon."

How the AI works for a store

The company's own guide to AI email platforms describes the ecommerce workflow in more detail. Once a store is connected, SegmentFlow syncs "your products, customers, orders, inventory, and brand assets, then helps plan, compose, send, and measure revenue-focused emails." The guide sets out five jobs:

  • Plan: build a campaign calendar from the store, inventory, seasonality, customer behavior and revenue opportunities.
  • Segment: use ecommerce audiences such as first-time buyers, repeat customers, abandoned carts, high spenders, fulfilled orders, active customers and churning customers.
  • Compose: generate on-brand emails with the store's real products, images, prices, brand voice and layout rules.
  • Send: run one-time campaigns, newsletters and automated journeys from one workspace.
  • Measure: attribute orders and revenue back to the campaigns and journeys that drove them.

Instead of opening a blank editor, a sender describes the campaign, for instance "Win back customers who purchased once but have not ordered in 90 days", and SegmentFlow helps build the audience, draft the email, place relevant products and track the revenue. The same guide lists deliverability tooling covering delivery, bounces, click-rate health, suppression and sender feedback handling.

Integrations

Shopify connects through a Shopify app and WooCommerce through a WooCommerce plugin, both bringing in store data. Salesforce is a manual import for CRM contacts. Contacts can also arrive as CSV uploads, through signup forms, or as API events carrying app and website activity. The integrations panel adds "Others coming soon."

Plans and pricing

The pricing table lists four plans, with a yearly option that saves 20%.

  • Free, $0 a month: 2,500 emails per month with a hard cap, no SegmentFlow.ai logo in the email footer, API integrations, automation and advanced analytics. The company's guide says a store can start free "without a credit card."
  • Starter, $19 a month: 10,000 emails per month included, overage at $1 per 1,000 extra emails ("never blocked"), email support, API integrations, automation and advanced analytics.
  • Pro, $49 a month: 50,000 emails per month included, the same $1 per 1,000 overage, priority support and the same feature set.
  • Scale, $99 a month: 200,000 emails per month included, the same overage and priority support.

The difference between the free plan and the paid plans matters for planning: Free stops at its 2,500 emails, while every paid plan keeps sending past its allowance and bills the extra volume. Since the contact count does not drive the price, the bill follows how much a store sends rather than how many addresses it holds.

The footer links a Data Processing Agreement and a list of sub-processors alongside the privacy policy and terms. A set of free audit tools sits under Resources.

Who it suits and who it does not

SegmentFlow.ai suits a Shopify or WooCommerce store that wants campaigns built from its own catalog and order data, with the AI doing the first draft of audiences and emails. The per-email pricing favors stores with large lists that they mail selectively, and the free plan is enough to test the workflow on a small list. Because transactional templates and receipts live in the same account, a store or small SaaS team can keep marketing and order email on one sending domain.

The company's own guide is candid about its limits: it calls the platform newer and says it is not the right fit for a team that wants a massive agency ecosystem, a highly customized enterprise marketing stack, or years of legacy templates and workflows. A team that relies on A/B testing today will find it still listed as coming soon, and a store on a cart other than Shopify or WooCommerce would connect through CSV, forms or API events rather than a native app.
