Manago AI

Manago AI is the new name for SALESmanago, a customer data and engagement platform for online retailers. It sends email newsletters, lifecycle campaigns and automated flows, and runs SMS, WhatsApp, push and on-site messages from the same customer profiles. The company calls it "Europe's only AI Customer Data and Engagement Platform built for eCommerce" and says it is "trusted by 2,000+ brands across Europe." The old salesmanago.com address now leads to manago.ai, and the site is published in English and Polish.
The headline pitch is agentic AI: a marketer states a goal in a prompt and the software drafts the audience, the email and the workflow for a human to approve. The home page sums it up as "Turns insights into campaigns in one prompt."
What a sender actually gets
The platform is organized around five capabilities, each feeding the next.
The Customer Data Platform gives the team "a single live view of every customer." Behavior, purchases, engagement, preferences, consent and predictive signals come together in one profile that campaigns, journeys and personalization draw on. Because consent sits in the same profile, the list a campaign targets and the permission to mail it live in one place.
Marketing Automation builds journeys around customer behavior rather than a campaign calendar. Messages trigger when customers browse, buy, abandon, return or disengage, and the site describes a range from simple follow-ups to cross-channel journeys that adapt as the customer moves through them.
Commerce Marketing covers the store-specific triggers: product views, carts, wishlists, back-in-stock requests, price-drop alerts and purchase history. These are the signals behind abandonment flows, restock notices and repeat-purchase campaigns, and the stated aim is to recover missed revenue and create the next buying moment.
Personalization adapts messages, offers, timing and experiences using customer data, behavior, AI predictions and product context, matching each touchpoint to a customer's interests, intent, purchase history and journey stage.
Recommendations suggest products based on what each customer is likely to want next rather than on what is popular, using browsing history, purchase behavior, product data and AI scoring.
Channels
Email is the lead channel and carries an "Agentic" label in the menu. The site describes emails "built on what customers actually do, not just who they are in your database", using live customer data, product context and AI-assisted content for newsletters, lifecycle campaigns and automated flows.
SMS runs through a built-in SMS gateway. Messages connect to the same journeys as email, and the platform supports two-way conversations "when a simple message should become an interaction."
WhatsApp is marked as new. The page says a team can "bring WhatsApp into your customer journeys instead of treating it as a separate communication tool", sending template messages, managing session conversations and adding rich media.
Website Engagement adapts on-site prompts, products, offers and proof points to each visitor in real time, with the goals of turning anonymous visitors into subscribers, browsers into buyers and past customers into repeat ones. The channel overview also lists push alongside email, SMS, WhatsApp and web, and says AI can pick which channel reaches each customer best.
Agentic AI and AI MCP
The site says its AI "works across data, workflows, content, recommendations, and reports." It combines predictive, generative, conversational, recommendation and agentic AI, which in practice means scoring customers, drafting content, building audiences, recommending products, analyzing performance and preparing campaigns from a brief. An AI Product Discovery feature is also listed.
Agentic AI is the newest layer. Give it a goal and, in the site's words, you "Watch it help create the audience, draft the content, build the workflow, suggest the timing, and prepare the campaign for approval." The team keeps strategy and the final decision; the AI handles the operational steps in between.
AI MCP, also marked new, connects the platform to outside AI tools. Users can "access customer data, create campaigns and take action directly from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other MCP-compatible tools", so a marketer working in one of those assistants can reach Manago AI's data and campaign tools without switching into its interface.
The home page carries eleven customer comments on the agent, all attributed by name and company. A few that describe what it does:
- "The segment came out well. We also asked for the text for an email, and that worked too." (Borgione)
- "I've used an agent for a roundup of email statistics and it did really well. It automatically recognized which mailings went to clients and which ones went to employees." (Inter Cars)
- "The AI agent created customer segments, which I then validated and sent an SMS campaign to. This feature works well." (Argentum Capital)
- "The visual improvement of the email and subject lines which I consulted with the agent turned out to be effective. We got 12 orders from that email, so the operation paid for itself." (SHARG)
- "It builds emails well; I've used and sent two of them. The brand DNA is well-configured, and the colors and fonts are impeccable." (Mobile Vikings)
The published case studies cover the fashion retailer Monnari, iSpot and Converse.
Integrations and data
The integrations directory groups connectors into E-commerce, CRM/ERP/CMS, Support Tools, Communications and SDKs/Libraries. The site offers "ready-made integrations for speed and APIs, custom data flows, and MCP when your setup needs more flexibility." The home page does not name individual shop platforms, so a store should check its own cart in the directory.
Under Trust and Security the company links a GDPR page ("How we protect personal data") and a Cybersecurity page ("Security built into our platform"), and the footer carries a statement on accessibility and the European Accessibility Act.
Manago AI is one of three companies in what it calls the Manago Family, alongside Leadoo AI, which offers conversational marketing tools for turning website visitors into leads, and Thulium, an omnichannel contact center system for ecommerce and B2B support. The site describes the three as one integrated family.
Plans, trial and support
The home page links to a Pricing page and offers both a Free Trial and a Get a Demo route; it names no plan prices, contact tiers or send limits itself. Sales can be reached at +48 12 881 13 78 and support at +48 533 600 808. The support menu lists technical support, documentation, product updates and a product roadmap, and the resources section adds case studies, a blog, ebooks and reports, events and webinars, and a partners directory with a route to become a partner.
Who it suits and who it does not
Manago AI suits an ecommerce team, particularly one selling in Europe, that wants customer data, automation and several channels in one platform, and that is willing to let an AI agent do the first draft of segments and campaigns. A retailer with browsing, cart and purchase data to feed it gets the most from the commerce triggers and recommendations. Teams that already work inside ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor have a direct route in through AI MCP.
It suits less well a solo newsletter writer or a small shop that needs one channel and a simple editor: this is a data platform with a customer profile at its center, pitched at brands rather than individuals. A developer after a transactional email API will not find one described on the home page. Teams that want to budget without talking to anyone should read the pricing page and trial terms first, since the home page itself carries no figures.
