Zozo
Tap a star to rate
Zozo EMA (Ứng dụng Email Marketing) is the email marketing application of Zozo, a Hanoi software company (Công ty Cổ phần Phần Mềm Zozo) that also sells website builders, e-commerce tools, electronic contracts and online testing software. EMA sends bulk campaigns, scheduled and event-triggered emails and automated customer care sequences, and it is written for Vietnamese businesses, individuals and schools: the site and its prices are in Vietnamese and in dong. Zozo also sells a separate Email API & SMTP product for application mail, listed next to EMA in the menu.
The home page puts Zozo's scale at 7+ years of experience, 30,000+ businesses and shops as customers, 8,000+ projects delivered, 30+ countries and territories, 6 supported languages and 60+ development partners. For email specifically, the EMA page says more than 60 schools and education centers across the country use it, naming universities and English centers among them, and it claims an average open rate of up to 37.25% for the education sector.
Sending and infrastructure
For delivery, EMA relies on large providers. The list of differences on the page says it uses "100% Máy chủ, IP gửi của Amazon, Sendgrid và Mailjet" (100% sending servers and IPs from Amazon, Sendgrid and Mailjet), and the FAQ credits modern SMTP platforms such as SendGrid and Amazon for a high inbox rate "nếu thực hiện đúng" (if done correctly), while naming technical setup, sender reputation, content and recipient behavior as the factors that still decide placement. The page describes multi-threaded sending across several sending servers. Spam Assassin anti-spam technology is built in, email content is automatically analyzed and normalized to Google's standard, and each plan comes with a free warmup period that ramps volume up gradually for a new sending address or domain.
Before sending, users must verify ownership of the address they send from. The FAQ says this protects users, keeps the service within the law, and is meant to stop people "mạo danh gửi email lừa đảo" (impersonating others to send fraudulent email).
What a sender gets
The FAQ lists the core tools: bulk campaigns sent at once, scheduled campaigns, event-triggered sends on an open, a link click or a tag, list verification that removes fake addresses, and template design. The drag-and-drop editor has 120+ ready-made templates, lets users add or import any template of their own, embeds survey forms in a campaign and comes with subscribe and unsubscribe buttons built in. Verification is free with no cap on the number of addresses checked, and the page says it removes 99% of fake emails to raise the inbox rate.
Automation builds event-driven sending scripts and two-way customer care scenarios: automatic responses to recipient activity such as opening or reading an email, smart care campaigns, and automatic conversion of contacts into customers. Reports run in real time and show the successful send rate, opens, clicks and response rate, with an overview per campaign and per list. The FAQ adds charted lists of who opened, who clicked and which addresses bounced.
A/B testing sends two versions that differ in subject line, sender or content to a small group. After a few hours the system picks the version with more opens or clicks and sends it to the rest, and each contact still receives exactly one email, so the test uses no extra quota. It also warns when the leading version raises unsubscribes. The FAQ asks for at least 500 verified emails and says it works best from 20,000. A/B testing comes with the Enterprise monthly plan and above, and with Cre-100K and above.
The headline addition is an MCP Server that connects Claude and ChatGPT to EMA, and the pricing tooltip also names Gemini. Through ordinary chat commands a user can create, send and pause campaigns, ask for open and click rates, and import and verify contact lists, over the standard MCP protocol with no extra programming. It is available on the same tiers as A/B testing, and Zozo offers to guide customers through connecting it.
Plans and prices
EMA has two price structures, both in Vietnamese dong. Monthly plans are paid by term: the 3-month term is full price, the 6-month term is 15% off, and the 1-year and 2-year terms are 25% off.
- Pro: 539,000 dong a month, 10,000 emails a month, 40,000 stored contacts, 150 campaigns, 2 sending domains.
- Enterprise, marked popular: 1,239,000 dong a month, 30,000 emails, 45,000 contacts, unlimited campaigns.
- Growth: 1,939,000 dong a month, 50,000 emails, 75,000 contacts, 5 sending domains.
- Premium: 3,839,000 dong a month, 100,000 emails, 150,000 contacts.
Quota packs buy email volume upfront to use within 12 months, which the page suggests for irregular or seasonal senders. Cre-15K, labeled Trải nghiệm (Experience), costs 1,500,000 dong for 15,000 emails, 25,000 contacts and 10 campaigns. Cre-50K covers 50,000 emails and 75,000 contacts, and Cre-100K covers 100,000 emails and 150,000 contacts with 75 campaigns. From Cre-200K up, new sign-ups get 20% off the list price, which for Cre-200K is 9,500,000 dong, and the range runs to Cre-2M with 2,000,000 emails at a list price of 75,000,000 dong. From Cre-500K a dedicated IP can be added at 980,000 dong a month for at least 6 months. The FAQ points newcomers to the Trải nghiệm and Cơ bản (Basic) packs to get used to the tool at low cost.
Across all plans the page caps sending at 50,000 emails a day per account, and storage at 50,000 emails per campaign and 100,000 per list. Monthly plans of the same type cannot be merged or split. A 10-day free trial opens in about a minute, and the page says every feature it describes is available in the trial account.
Support
Help comes through a support center, guides, video tutorials, an Email Marketing community and the Zozo blog, plus a consultation form offering one-to-one advice from a Zozo specialist on plan configuration and a business's specific requirements. Live chat, Zalo messaging and a hotline marked 24/7 are listed, with offices in Hanoi and Hồ Chí Minh City. The interface is described as intuitive and multilingual.
Who it suits
EMA fits Vietnamese businesses that want a campaign tool priced in dong with clear quotas: shops sending holiday, Black Friday and Tết promotions, B2B firms sharing case studies and webinar invitations, freelancers, bloggers and creators keeping in touch with followers, and schools sending enrollment notices and course news, a segment the page covers in detail. Seasonal senders can buy a quota pack and use it over a year, while regular senders pick a monthly plan. Teams that already work in Claude or ChatGPT get a way to run campaigns from the chat window, provided they are on Enterprise, Cre-100K or higher.
The caveat is that A/B testing and the MCP Server sit behind the mid-tier plans, and the entry-level Pro plan limits both campaigns and sending domains.
