Constant Contact's editor leans toward simplicity over depth: pick a template, drag in blocks, and publish, with social post scheduling and a basic landing page builder included on every plan. Its event tool handles registration pages, ticketing, and automatic reminder emails, a feature few competitors bundle in as standard. Automation is limited to a handful of trigger types (welcome series, abandoned cart, resend to non-openers) rather than the branching workflow builders found on more automation-heavy platforms.
Pricing scales with contact count and there's no permanent free tier, only a free trial. Plans start around $12 a month for 500 contacts on the entry Lite tier, with Standard around $35 and Premium around $80 at that same list size, climbing past $230 a month once you pass 50,000 contacts. Annual prepay knocks off roughly 15%. The tradeoff for the higher starting price is phone support and live webinar training, which makes it a reasonable fit for a nonprofit or small business owner who wants a human to call rather than a knowledge base to search.
