Yournotify
Tap a star to rate
Yournotify calls itself a growth marketing platform to "acquire, engage, and retain customers". Email is one of its channels: it sends newsletters, promotional campaigns, lifecycle sequences and application email through an API or SMTP, alongside SMS, WhatsApp, voice broadcasts, browser calling, push and in-app messages. The email product page addresses "teams in Nigeria, Kenya and across Africa", and the home page frames the offer around "pay-as-you-go usage, localized billing, and channel costs that make sense for African businesses scaling step by step."
The home page gives a few scale figures of its own: 100M+ campaign messages sent through its channels, 100+ businesses and teams supported, 3 years in market, and 12+ campaign, reward, conversation and developer channels connected in one platform. The customer examples it points to span fintech, logistics, education, commerce, health and services. Beyond messaging, the suite adds lead capture forms, referrals, loyalty programs and rewards such as airtime, data and vouchers, so email usually sits inside a wider customer program rather than running on its own.
Campaign email
The email product covers the familiar campaign work. Teams build newsletters, product announcements, offers and event campaigns that adapt to desktop and mobile, working from reusable content and audience data. The template feature standardizes headers, content sections, calls to action and brand styling, with a preview step before an email goes to an audience, which is how the page says marketers can "launch faster without rebuilding every email." Campaigns, templates and segments sit in one workspace, where sends are scheduled and results reviewed without moving contact files between unrelated systems.
Segmentation works on list, profile data, source or campaign activity, and personalization fills message fields per contact. The home page adds behavior-based segments and lead capture flows to the same lifecycle view. Reporting covers delivery, opens, clicks and campaign activity, and the product page suggests using those signals to adjust subject lines, content and segments for the next send. A free Email Subject Line and Preheader Checker in the resources section checks subject and preheader length for mobile and desktop inbox previews, next to similar free tools for SMS segments, WhatsApp templates and voice message length.
Automation across channels
Lifecycle automation is where the multichannel design shows. Email flows can trigger welcome messages, onboarding education, renewal reminders, reactivation sequences and post-purchase follow-up from customer events. The FAQ confirms that campaigns can be automated around "welcome, onboarding, reminder, renewal and reactivation messages based on the customer and campaign workflow you configure." When timing or preference changes, a journey can continue through SMS, WhatsApp, voice, Calls, push, conversations or rewards instead of another email.
The other channels carry weight of their own. SMS handles alerts, reminders, OTPs and promotions with click tracking, custom domains and delivery reporting. WhatsApp uses approved templates with media, buttons, replies and tracking, and supports two-way conversations. Voice runs promotional and transactional calls with interactive responses, while Calls is live browser calling with contact history, call controls, optional recordings and configured inbound forwarding. Push and in-app messages carry product nudges, reminders, deep links and reactivation prompts. A Conversations area brings WebChat, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook replies into the same customer record, and home page reporting is unified across channels.
The industry examples show how the pieces combine. Retail teams recover carts and attach loyalty rewards to the next order. Fintech teams trigger onboarding and trust-building messages when customers fund a wallet, pay or complete KYC. Education teams move prospects from inquiry to enrollment with forms, WhatsApp, voice and Calls follow-ups, SMS reminders and segmented email. Healthcare and insurance teams send care reminders and renewal prompts, and SaaS teams send trial conversion messages and feature education from product events. One CRM manager at a marketplace is quoted on the home page saying the platform "has made retention campaigns much easier to launch."
Transactional email, API and SMTP
For application mail, Yournotify sends receipts, confirmations, password messages and application alerts through API or SMTP, and keeps that product-triggered delivery visible next to campaign email. The SMTP section describes using "SMTP credentials and sender configuration when your app needs reliable email delivery without rebuilding message infrastructure." The developer area also covers a REST API, SMPP for direct SMS connectivity with throughput control, and webhooks that sync delivery, contact and campaign events into a CRM, product, warehouse or internal tools.
A company blog post on SMTP and API sending for fintech, dated May 1, 2025, shows an API call as a JSON POST to api.yournotify.com with a Bearer API key in the header. The same post lists what the API adds: built-in support for OTP and transactional templates, uptime guarantees and monitoring dashboards, webhooks for delivery events, and a built-in CDP for customer profiling. It says the infrastructure is "designed for low-latency delivery across MTN, Glo, Airtel, and local ISPs," with regional failover. Teams that want help moving their sending over can book what the post calls a free integration audit.
Integrations
The integrations list is short and specific. For data syncing it names Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Paystack, Flutterwave, Airtable, Google Sheets, MongoDB, MySQL and Shopify. Shopify syncs customers, orders and abandoned checkout events into lifecycle campaigns. Paystack and Flutterwave bring local payment events and transactions in as automation triggers, and Google Sheets live-syncs spreadsheet rows to lists, contacts and recipients. Zoho CRM and HubSpot feed contacts, leads and pipeline data into audiences. WooCommerce appears as a plugin that imports store customers and purchase signals into automations, and Google Analytics and Meta Ads feed traffic, conversion and ad account data into reporting.
Pricing and plans
The site publishes no price list or plan table. The home page describes the model instead: it contrasts suites that "force subscriptions, add-ons, and foreign pricing before a team has proven the channel" with its own pay-as-you-go usage and localized billing. On the email side, the fintech post states that as of 2025 SMTP is free with limited analytics, while API plans start with full logging and webhook support. For anything beyond that, the Contact page invites teams to "Talk with the team about setup, pricing, or migration," and the home page offers a guided setup that runs from first audience import to live campaigns, with templates and delivery guidance.
Support routes named on the site are the Contact page for sales, onboarding and account help, FAQs organized by channel, setup and product area, email guides on strategy, deliverability, templates and campaign setup, and the MarTech Africa community for marketing technology conversations across the continent.
Who it suits
Yournotify fits African businesses, with Nigeria named most often, that want email as part of a larger customer program: a fintech sending OTPs, receipts and onboarding mail, a retailer pairing cart reminders with loyalty rewards, or a school running admissions follow-up across WhatsApp, calls and email. Teams that prefer paying per use in local billing over a fixed subscription get a model built around that, and developers can start on free SMTP and move to the API when they need logs and webhooks.
A sender who only wants a newsletter tool will use a small part of what Yournotify offers, and without a public price table the cost of a given volume has to be worked out with the team before committing.
