WEBCAS is a family of customer communication systems from WOW WORLD Inc., which the footer says was formerly 株式会社エイジア, with a head office in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and an office in Osaka. Its email product, WEBCAS e-mail, sends newsletters and bulk email to large member lists, and the company says it has offered it for more than 20 years to large companies and government bodies with hundreds of thousands or millions of members. It comes as a cloud service that can be used from one month, or as a package installed in the customer's own environment. Beside email, the WEBCAS series covers SMS, LINE messages, app push notifications, surveys and forms, a shared inbox for customer inquiries and a database builder, and the home page says more than 12,000 companies have chosen the series.
Sending at volume
Speed is the headline. The speed page says WEBCAS e-mail has sent more than 10 million emails an hour across its whole cloud, which it calls the highest level in the industry, and that single customers have measured more than 2.4 million an hour on the cloud version and more than 3 million an hour on the package version. It publishes two measured cloud examples: a large online store at 2.4 million emails an hour with messages of 20 to 40 KB and up to 50 tracked links, and a large online store for women at 2 million an hour with 150 KB messages and 100 to 200 tracked links. The point of those figures is that HTML mail with click tracking is heavier to generate, and the company says its engine is built to keep that kind of mail fast. Citing ITR Market View reports, WOW WORLD also claims the No. 1 share of the email-sending package market by revenue.
The speed page lists the functions customers use most for bulk sends: sending from a CSV import, inserting names and other fields, file attachments, setting the sender address, analysis and automatic processing of error mail, HTML email creation and sending, results analysis, API integration, and sending from a database built in the system. Spot use from one month is possible, which the page says suits customers who want to send a one-off mass mailing without stress.
On deliverability, the company describes how it keeps its sending environment fast. It screens customers in advance and does not serve spammers, keeps many IP addresses and switches between them so each carrier and provider accepts the mail, has dedicated staff constantly checking inbox arrival rates at providers and carriers, and processes error mail automatically, with handling tuned to each mobile carrier's receiving logic. It says this gives it arrival rates at the highest level in the industry.
Building and targeting campaigns
The feature list goes well beyond bulk sends. WEBCAS e-mail offers personalized one-to-one email, recommendation email, follow-up or step email sequences, multi-language sending, a transaction insertion function, registration by blank email, mobile phone email and customization. It can send from a database created in WEBCAS, from the customer's in-house customer database, from several databases at once, or linked to an external SaaS. The home page names flexible links with existing customer databases and outside systems as the product's strength, so that messages can follow a customer's behavior, lifestyle and attributes without a large system integration. Results analysis covers each send, and one customer, DG Financial Technology, says the sending logs show for each user which email went out, whether it arrived and why an error occurred.
For developers there are two email APIs, one for trigger sends and one for bulk sends. The high-speed sending engine (MTA) is also offered to teams that only want to strengthen their sending engine, and a mail relay server is available as a cloud service for boosting the email functions of an existing system.
In August 2026 WOW WORLD added two generative AI functions to WEBCAS e-mail: subject line and preheader suggestions, and automatic generation of text emails. The announcement presents them as a way to make email creation more efficient and to help raise open rates. For teams without the staff to write, a newsletter production and operation service covers planning, production, operation, analysis and improvement, and a separate service produces responsive emails.
Customers and results
The speed page groups customer stories by list size. ChatWork Academy moved its seminar invitations from Bcc in an ordinary mail client and says sending now takes one pass, error and unsubscribe handling disappeared, and results can be measured. DG Financial Technology, formerly Veritrans, sends urgent support emails about payment-service incidents and says mail to several thousand users now finishes in minutes. Yomiuri Travel says a newsletter to 100,000 members that used to take a whole day now finishes in 5 to 6 minutes. Ehon Navi sends 130,000 to 160,000 emails per newsletter and says 160,000 go out in under 10 minutes, after linking WEBCAS to its member system so that lists no longer need importing. B4F, which runs an invitation-only family sale, mails hundreds of thousands of members daily in about 20 minutes. The Epson group companies report a measured speed of over 1 million emails an hour, with more than 100 operators in over 30 departments using the system.
Home page cases add Panasonic's Kurashi Appliance company, which chose WEBCAS because it met strict internal security requirements such as OS encryption of the sending environment and complied with Gmail's guidelines, and another customer that sends HTML newsletters carrying each sales rep's photo and reached a 40% open rate.
Other channels and tools
WEBCAS SMS sends short messages of up to 660 characters to mobiles for identity checks, important notices and promotions. WEBCAS taLk delivers personalized LINE messages linked to a company's own member data, and WEBCAS app push sends push notifications and in-app messages from a company's own app. WEBCAS formulator builds surveys and forms for PC and mobile with no limit on the number of responses, WEBCAS mailcenter lets several people manage incoming inquiry mail from one place, and WEBCAS DB creator builds customer databases and registration forms. The home page says each system can be used alone or combined, for example to run a closed survey only for newsletter members.
Plans, trial, security and support
The site says detailed materials covering features, the function list and pricing plans are available as a PDF download, and it invites requests for a quote or a free trial. Cloud use starts from one month; the package version installs in your own environment. Phone support runs from 10:00 to 18:00, excluding weekends and public holidays, and there are product seminars for new customers and individual study sessions for existing ones.
On security, the home page says WEBCAS undergoes regular vulnerability assessments by a third-party organization, most recently in March 2026 by SCSK Corporation, and the footer notes that the scope of its ISMS is the Tokyo head office. The home page also cites a BOXIL SaaS AWARD 2024 in the email delivery system category and ITreview Grid Award 2026 Summer "Leader" awards in four categories, including email marketing tools.
Who it suits
WEBCAS e-mail fits companies and public bodies with large member lists that need newsletters, time-limited sale announcements or urgent notices to go out fast, and organizations whose security rules call for an on-premises package or a vendor with third-party vulnerability testing. Its APIs, relay server and trigger sends also cover system mail, and the SMS, LINE and form products let one vendor handle several channels. Seasonal senders can use the cloud version for a single month.
It is a heavier choice for a small business that wants to see a price list and sign up by card, since plans come through a PDF and a quote, and the site, support and materials are all in Japanese.
