TrueSend
Tap a star to rate
TrueSend is an email platform that works in two modes: a campaign tool for marketers, with a drag-and-drop builder, templates, automation and segmentation, and an email API for developers who send transactional and bulk mail from their own applications. The homepage calls it a "Professional Email Service Provider" offering "AI-driven email campaigns, real-time analytics, and high inbox placement," and claims "12,000+ Customers Around the World." The footer gives an office address in Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra, and credits development to iSearchSolution Pvt. Ltd. Deliverability is the thread through the whole site, led by pre-warmed IPs that let a new account send from day one.
Campaigns, templates and automation
Campaigns are built in a drag-and-drop editor that needs no coding: you select elements such as text blocks, images, buttons or social links and arrange them as you want. The template library covers offers and promotions, pricing announcements, welcome and renewal emails, event invites and reminders, gift cards, ecommerce orders and shipping, transactional receipts and alerts, company newsletters, customer satisfaction surveys and abandoned cart recovery. The homepage says each template "is completely optimized for conversions and fully responsive across multiple devices, including mobile."
A visual automation builder handles workflows, and the homepage promises automated tasks, reminders and follow-up emails, with workflows that "adjust automatically" and AI that sets up sequences and tests what works. A/B testing, campaign scheduling, an autoresponder and a web form builder appear among the features and resources.
Segmentation divides an audience into active and cold contacts, draws on engagement history, removes duplicate records and scores leads "on real behavior and fit, not just activity volume." The lead generation pitch goes further: identifying website visitors, enriching form submissions with verified contact details, routing leads instantly, sending welcome emails and follow-ups from the start, and real-time alerts so the team does not miss a hot lead.
Deliverability and reporting
The pre-warmed IP infrastructure is the headline. The homepage says you can "launch email campaigns immediately without risking deliverability" and skip the risks and delays of manual IP warming. Sender reputation protection adds automated list verification, domain authentication and deliverability optimization tools, and the resources menu lists a dedicated IP, an email validator, list cleaning and a suppression list.
Before a send, TrueSend's email sandbox tools help catch problems: a fake SMTP server for testing emails safely, an HTML checker, a spam checker, QA automation and a sandbox API. After the send, a real-time dashboard shows account performance, domain and IP reputation and up to 30 days of email history, alongside email performance, deliverability and engagement metrics.
The email API
The API page describes a service for running email "automatically, securely and quickly," from welcome emails to transactional messages. It lists a 50ms average response time, a 99.99% API uptime SLA, 10B+ emails sent via the API and 100+ official SDKs. SDKs install through npm, pip, composer, gem or go get, and the code samples cover Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby and Java. The FAQ explains the case for an API over SMTP, which it likens to "an old postal service that moves your email from one server to another," and says "a single API call can send an email to one recipient or thousands at once."
Features include dynamic templates written in Handlebars or Liquid and managed without touching application code, batch and bulk sending with per-recipient personalization, smart retry logic for temporary delivery failures, per-email analytics, and attachments such as PDFs and invoices with inline images. Real-time webhooks report opens, clicks, deliveries, bounces and unsubscribes, and every webhook is signed with HMAC-SHA256. The REST API uses versioned endpoints and a consistent JSON structure, with an OpenAPI spec, a Postman collection and a sandbox mode; endpoints cover sending, email events, templates, sending domains and webhooks.
Access starts with an API key copied from the dashboard, and the key management panel on the API page shows separate production, sandbox and read-only analytics keys. Security options include API keys with granular permissions and instant rotation, IP allowlisting, OAuth 2.0 authentication, scoped access tokens and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. Sub-account management lets one parent account run separate sending domains, clients and projects, which the page pitches at agencies, SaaS platforms and white-label products that need isolated sending environments.
Plans and limits
The API page publishes rate limits for four plans:
- Free: 3,000 emails a month, 60 API requests a minute, batch size 100.
- Pro: 100,000 emails a month, 300 requests a minute, batch size 500.
- Business: 1,000,000 emails a month, 1,000 requests a minute, batch size 1,000.
- Enterprise: unlimited emails, with custom request limits and batch size.
Every plan comes with the option to request higher limits for high-volume use. The free plan needs no credit card, and the site promises "Unlimited Time On Free Plan." The homepage and API page state no plan prices; both link to a separate pricing page.
Support and customers
Support is offered 24/7, and the FAQ describes it as "real people, real answers, any time you get stuck." Onboarding specialists walk new customers through account setup "from day one," and the footer lists a contact email address and a phone number. The solutions menu names startups, ecommerce, SaaS and tech, edtech, travel and hospitality, fintech, restaurants, real estate, nonprofits and schools, health and wellness, and solopreneurs, and the site runs separate email marketing pages for a dozen cities, from Pune and Mumbai to Chennai and Jaipur.
Three testimonials on the homepage come from businesses in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The founder of an ecommerce startup in New Delhi says TrueSend fixed its deliverability issues "almost instantly." A marketing manager at an EdTech platform in Bengaluru writes that "The workflows are simple to set up and our engagement rates improved within the first few campaigns." The co-founder of a SaaS startup in Mumbai says "TrueSend's API and automation tools made integration effortless."
Who it suits
TrueSend suits developers and SaaS teams that want an email API with published limits, SDKs, signed webhooks and a sandbox, and marketers who want to send campaigns without warming a new IP first. Ecommerce shops get ready templates for orders, shipping and abandoned carts, and agencies can separate clients with sub-accounts. The free plan, with 3,000 emails a month and no time limit, lets a small sender test both the campaign side and the API before committing.
