tinyEmail is an email marketing platform made by tinyCo for sending campaigns, newsletters and automated journeys. The FAQ says it is "specifically designed for eCommerce businesses and publishers", and adds that the core platform suits other fields too, naming SaaS, creators, non-profits and local businesses. The pitch throughout the site is simplicity: a clean interface, a drag-and-drop builder, ready-made templates and segments, and no prior email marketing knowledge needed. Shopify merchants get the most attention, with a dedicated Shopify app, a free plan reserved for Shopify stores and an AI tool, tinyAlbert, available only to them.
Designing and sending campaigns
Emails are built in a drag-and-drop editor from pre-built layouts or from scratch, and the templates are mobile-ready. The features page counts 50+ professionally designed templates plus a growing library of branded ones. A Brand Kit takes your business's colors, fonts and look and applies them across your message templates, so you are not hunting for hex codes. There is also a built-in creative studio for editing images for email and social media, and a stock photo library.
Beyond static layouts, the features page describes dynamic content blocks that change in real time based on your own rules, AMP for email, and interactive blocks that let readers give feedback, watch embedded videos or submit forms without leaving the message. A/B testing covers subject lines, sender names and email content, and a newer Automated A/B Testing feature picks the winning version automatically. Analytics work down to the individual subscriber, across campaigns and audiences, and the homepage says they show what drives revenue.
Audience, segments and forms
Contacts come in through uploads or integrations, and each has a profile showing its activity. Pre-built segments cover common groups such as new customers, engaged contacts, loyal customers and lost sales, while custom segments use opens, clicks, purchase data, tags, interests or custom fields. The FAQ describes dynamic segmentation that updates groups automatically based on behavior, preferences and purchase history.
List hygiene is handled by a suppression list that excludes specific contacts or whole domains; hard bounces and unsubscribes move to it automatically. Traffic Control limits a send to any percentage of an audience, so you can test on a small group first or ramp volume up gently to warm IPs or recover inbox placement. List Cleaning, which detects spam and invalid contacts, and Identity Resolution, which identifies anonymous website visitors, are sold as add-ons.
Signup forms come as popups, embedded forms, flyouts that slide in from a corner and landing pages. Flyouts can trigger on scrolls, clicks or time on page, forms are styled to match your site without code, and form views and signup rates are tracked inside tinyEmail. The FAQ mentions consent checkboxes on forms.
Automation and ecommerce
Workflows automate welcome emails, follow-ups, birthday messages and abandoned cart reminders, and the ecommerce features include dynamic product recommendations and abandoned cart recovery. For Shopify stores, the FAQ describes syncing customer data, placing product blocks directly in emails and triggering ecommerce automations from the store. tinyAlbert, marketed as a Shopify Copilot, generates copy and subject lines and optimizes campaigns, and the forms page says it can automate campaigns "in just 30 minutes."
AI tools and integrations
The AI suite lists AI Traffic Control, which manages daily send volumes for deliverability, AI Summary for instant insights from campaign data, and tinyEmail MCP, which connects Claude or ChatGPT so you can manage campaigns, build segments and read analytics from an AI chat.
The FAQ names integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce for ecommerce, Zoho CRM and HubSpot for CRM, Zapier and Segment for automation, Help Scout for support and Google Analytics. The features page says tinyEmail connects to "100’s of apps and services through native and third-party connectors" and can detect the common tools on your website to bring audience data in automatically.
Pricing, trial and plans
The pricing page uses a slider by monthly email volume, running from 15K to 1.5M+ emails a month. At the entry point it shows $65 USD a month for 15K emails on monthly billing, or $624 USD on annual billing, which the toggle marks as 20% off. The FAQ explains that the plan cost depends on your subscriber tier: if your list grows past your plan's limit, tinyEmail notifies you and moves you to the next tier automatically, with the new rate starting from the next billing cycle. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the billing section, and registered non-profits can apply for a special discount.
There is a 7-day free trial, and the sign-up prompts say no credit card is required. The FAQ also describes an exclusive free plan for Shopify stores, installed through the Shopify App Store, with unlimited contacts. The features page separately advertises "up to 15,000 emails free every month with unlimited subscribers and access to all integrations", an offer the pricing page does not repeat.
Switching is presented as easy. The site offers one-click migration of lists and campaigns, CSV import, and support during the move; the FAQ names Mailchimp and Klaviyo as platforms you can bring contacts from, and the menu promises a switch "in 48 hours with zero downtime" and says 12,000+ teams have moved over.
Deliverability, privacy and support
tinyEmail supports DKIM and SPF authentication, with a step-by-step setup guide in its Help Center. The homepage claims 100M+ emails per day and a 99% send rate. On privacy, the FAQ states that tinyEmail "is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other major data privacy regulations", that it will never share or sell your data, that accounts can use two-factor authentication, and that it runs regular security audits. The footer links to a Trust Center.
Support is 24/7 by live chat and email. The FAQ says live chat aims to answer within a few minutes and email within a few hours, and certain plans include personalized onboarding sessions. A help center, guides and video tutorials cover setup, and the footer lists support@tinyemail.com with two phone numbers.
Who it suits
tinyEmail suits Shopify merchants first: the free Shopify plan, product blocks, cart recovery and tinyAlbert make it an easy start for a store that wants email without a large budget. Small ecommerce shops on WooCommerce or BigCommerce and newsletter publishers get the same editor, segments and workflows on a paid plan, and beginners benefit from the ready-made templates and segments. Teams that want to control volume closely during an IP warm-up will find Traffic Control useful. Outside Shopify there is no free plan on the pricing page, so the entry price of $65 USD a month for 15K emails is the figure to budget against.
