Textmagic is a business messaging platform that sends SMS and email campaigns, runs automated flows across both channels and gathers replies from text, email, chat and social channels in one shared team inbox. It is run by Textmagic Ltd., whose footer gives a registered address in Romford, Essex, United Kingdom, and the site describes it as a business messaging platform used by 20,000+ companies. Text messaging is the core of the product and email sits beside it, so the platform suits businesses that want one account for appointment reminders, order updates, newsletters and support replies. The site pitches it at anyone from solo founders to growing teams, and its solutions menu names healthcare, hospitality, education, beauty and wellness, expert services, entertainment, technology, financial, insurance and transportation.
Email campaigns
Email campaigns are built in an easy-to-use campaign builder with a drag-and-drop editor, prebuilt HTML and rich text templates, AI templates, support for your own HTML templates and an AI writing assistant. Campaigns can be scheduled, followed up automatically, and personalized with dynamic fields. Reporting covers deliverability (delivered against failed), open and click rates, unsubscribes and spam reports, plus operational metrics such as cost and send time. Opt-out management, unsubscribe links and built-in domain verification come with the email service, and email validation and lookup can check addresses before you send.
Sending needs your own paid business domain: the FAQ says campaigns cannot go out from free domains such as Gmail or Yahoo. Once the domain is verified you can start sending, and Textmagic recommends warming it up by starting with a limit of 500 emails per day. Replies to a campaign can go to your own inbox or into Textmagic's Tickets section, where the team handles them as support conversations at no charge. A free AI email template builder is listed among the site's tools.
SMS and the other channels
On the text side Textmagic offers mass texting, scheduled campaigns, two-way chat with free replies, SMS surveys, subscribe forms for list building, carrier lookup and number validation, and email to SMS, which converts an email into a text and returns the replies as emails. Messages can be sent from a local number, a verified toll-free number for the US and Canada, 10DLC numbers for US area codes, or an alphanumeric sender ID that shows your business name. Long texts run up to 918 characters. The homepage makes the case for the channel with the claim that "98% of SMS messages are read".
The platform also connects WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram conversations, a website chat widget, MMS in North America, and inbound and outbound voice calls with call forwarding. The pricing page lists dedicated virtual numbers in 30+ countries.
Automation, contacts and integrations
Automation flows, marked as new, let you build drip campaigns and message sequences in a flow builder, with follow-ups and customer journeys that run across SMS and email. The homepage says messages can be triggered "from forms, purchases, appointments, and other customer actions."
Contacts can be imported from spreadsheets and organized with lists, tags, unlimited custom fields and dynamic segments, with filters and each contact's full conversation history.
The Shopify integration syncs a store with Textmagic "to automate every customer text, from order confirmations to shipping updates and special offers." The WooCommerce integration turns order events into SMS and email updates, with customer data, delivery visibility and consent controls in one place. Beyond those, the homepage invites you to "Connect to 1,000+ of your favorite apps" through Zapier or the API, and the pricing FAQ says Zapier connects "over 5,000+ apps, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Slack, Google Sheets, and more." Developers get a REST API, an SMS API gateway, an email to SMS API, API wrappers in 11 languages, and callback URLs for incoming messages and delivery statuses. An MCP connector links Textmagic to AI assistants, and native iOS and Android apps sit beside the web app.
Shared inbox, helpdesk and teams
The shared inbox handles SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and live chat in one place, and the features page says the team "never pays per seat." The email helpdesk turns messages into tickets that can be assigned, prioritized and tagged, with templates, internal notes and AI-suggested replies; you can connect unlimited email addresses by forwarding them, and the helpdesk module is free to use. Tasks and sales pipelines, account roles and permissions, audit logs and single sign-on through SAML complete the team side, and Point AI answers questions from your uploaded documents and knowledge base.
Pricing
Textmagic is a prepaid, pay-as-you-go service: you buy credit and spend it on any service. The FAQ lists bundles of 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 or 10,000 in USD, EUR, AUD or GBP, and the billing features say credit never expires. Monthly subscription plans with discounted text rates and a free number are offered in the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK.
The full pricing table lists outbound SMS at $0.049 per message from Textmagic numbers and $0.01 per message from numbers connected through Twilio, Vonage, Sinch or Bandwidth, where your own provider's fees also apply. A texting number costs $10 per month, with the first month free in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia; an alphanumeric sender ID and a 10DLC campaign renewal are also $10 a month. Inbound SMS is free and MMS costs $0.08.
For email, the calculator includes the first 10,000 emails for free as a one-time welcome bonus. After that the per-email rate is quoted three ways on the same page: $0.001 per email in the volume calculator, 0.003 USD, GBP or EUR (0.005 AUD) in the FAQ, and $0.006 per email in the full pricing table. Email lookup costs $0.04. Helpdesk tickets, live chat, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram conversations (Meta fees may apply), tasks, unlimited users and SSO carry no charge. You pay for every message sent, delivered or not, while messages rejected before sending are free. A money back guarantee is listed, and a new account starts with a free test balance.
Compliance, security and support
The homepage states: "We’re GDPR and SOC 2 compliant, with encryption and strict access controls to keep your data safe," and its compliance badges read SOC 2 Type II. The security list adds two-factor authentication, audit logs, data retention settings, data deletion on request, encrypted storage and backups, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. For SMS, Textmagic guides 10DLC and toll-free registration with AI checks before submission, offers consent forms prepared for TCPA, CASL and PECR rules, and helps with ACMA sender ID registration in Australia. Toll-free verification is free and usually takes up to 2 business days, 10DLC registration takes up to 7, and the toll-free route covers 43 use cases. The FAQ is clear that the customer remains responsible for consent and legal compliance. Support is listed as 24/7 by email, phone and live chat, with phone lines for the US, UK and Australia.
Who it suits
Textmagic fits businesses whose customer contact is time-sensitive and spread across channels: a clinic or salon sending appointment reminders, a Shopify or WooCommerce store texting order and shipping updates, or a service team answering texts, emails and Facebook messages from one inbox. Pay-as-you-go credit suits irregular volumes. A business that only needs newsletters will find the email side capable but secondary, and it should read the pricing page closely, since the per-email rate is quoted three ways.
