Systeme.io
Tap a star to rate
Systeme.io is an all-in-one platform for online entrepreneurs that combines email marketing with sales funnels, a website and blog builder, online courses, affiliate management, marketing automation, a booking calendar, a CRM pipeline, communities and product sales in one account. Email is one part of that system rather than a standalone product: broadcasts, automated sequences, tags and segments all run on the same contact database as the funnels and courses. The company says more than 500,000 entrepreneurs use it. Its about page says founder Aurelien Amacker, who has sold online courses since 2010, built it in 2018 to give entrepreneurs professional tools without expensive subscriptions or technical complexity. It is free for up to 2,000 contacts, and paid plans start at $17 a month.
Email marketing
The features page lists broadcast campaigns, automated sequences, tagging, segmentation and unlimited email sends on every plan, and the pricing table adds email newsletters. The point Systeme.io stresses is integration: "your list is connected directly to your funnels, courses, and products, so tags and enrollments trigger automatically." When someone opts into a funnel, the FAQ says, they are added to your email list, tagged and can be enrolled in an automation sequence with no manual setup or third-party tool. You can build opt-in funnels, sales funnels with upsells and order bumps, webinar funnels and product launch funnels, with follow-up email sequences triggered at each step. The email editor is drag and drop, and the template library covers funnels, pages and email sequences.
Automation, SMS and CRM
The automation builder works on a trigger, condition and action model. A trigger is an event such as a contact opting in, a product being bought or a course being completed; a condition filters who the rule applies to, for example contacts with a certain tag or on a certain plan; and an action is what happens next, such as sending an email, adding a tag, enrolling the contact in a course or moving them to a CRM stage. One purchase can fire a course enrollment, a welcome email and a CRM deal update at once. The pricing table lists both automation rules and workflows.
SMS runs through the same builder, so a text message can go out when a contact opts in, abandons a checkout or completes a course module. The CRM pipeline is a Kanban-style board with custom deal stages, where moving a contact can trigger follow-up emails or tasks. The booking calendar sends automated confirmation emails and can take deposits or full payment at booking, and evergreen webinars send reminder emails to registrants before a pre-recorded session plays on a set schedule.
Funnels, sites, courses and selling
The funnel builder adds A/B split testing, one-click upsells, order bumps and countdown timers to a drag-and-drop editor with pre-made templates. The website builder creates a multi-page site with a blog and a custom domain, included on the free plan, and the company says you can have a site up in under 10 minutes. The course builder handles video lessons, PDF downloads, drip content, module locking and student progress tracking, with unlimited students on every plan. Communities give you a paid or free members-only space. Affiliate management covers custom commission rates, affiliate links, real-time referral tracking and payouts. Physical products can be sold through funnel checkouts with variants, inventory limits and shipping fees, and a creator store gives you a single-page storefront to link from a social bio.
Integrations, API and payments
Most connections are built in, but the pricing table names integrations with Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Zoom, ActiveCampaign, SendGrid and Twilio SMS, and it lists a limit on API requests per minute; the footer links a public API. Payments run through Stripe, Apple Pay, PayPal, Razorpay, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago and Xendit, plus cash on delivery, and every plan comes with no transaction fees. The footer also offers free DNS setup.
Plans and pricing
Systeme.io prices its plans mainly by contacts, and the features FAQ says the feature set is the same on every plan. The pricing FAQ sets out the four plans:
- Free: 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 blog, 1 course, 1 affiliate program and 1 custom domain, with unlimited emails and unlimited file storage. It never expires and needs no credit card.
- Startup, $17/month: 5,000 contacts, unlimited funnels and 5 courses.
- Webinar, $47/month: 10,000 contacts, "unlimited everything plus automated webinar feature".
- Unlimited, $97/month: unlimited contacts, all features, sub-accounts and the free migration service.
Annual billing gives 2 months free. Every plan includes unlimited emailing, unlimited file storage, unlimited students, no transaction fees, your own affiliate program and online support. The pricing page also says every plan can create unlimited sub-accounts, each a full account with the same limits as the main plan at no extra cost, which suits agencies and consultants managing several clients from one dashboard. Agencies that want a white-label version run under their own brand and domain are asked to contact the team for pricing, and a "For teams" option leads to booking a call.
Free migration comes with the Unlimited plan or any annual plan. The team moves your funnels, pages, email sequences, products and contacts, and the company says it typically takes 2 to 5 business days for a standard-size business; you can also migrate yourself with CSV imports. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you cancel, the account reverts to the free plan, and any contacts above the 2,000 limit are archived rather than deleted, ready to restore if you reactivate a paid plan.
Support
The pricing page promises an average support response time of under 2 hours, 7 days a week, and its comparison table lists 24/7 email support and a 1-on-1 kickstart coaching session. A help center with step-by-step video tutorials, a blog, a podcast, a certification program and an affiliate program sit alongside. The company also says it runs its own business on Systeme.io.
Who it suits
Systeme.io is built for creators, coaches, consultants and small online businesses without a technical background who want email, funnels, courses and payments in one place at a low cost. A solo coach can start on the free plan with 2,000 contacts and unlimited sends, a course creator gets email sequences that fire on enrollment and completion, and an agency can run client workspaces as sub-accounts. The FAQ is candid about the limits: the platform is not designed for large-scale e-commerce with complex inventory, it offers no branded mobile apps for communities, and enterprise teams needing a heavyweight CRM are not its target. For a sender who wants email marketing tied directly to what customers buy and learn, the integrated model is its main strength.
