Spread is the email and text message marketing platform of Reasonable Software House Ltd. (思齊軟體), and rspread.tw is its Taiwan site. It sends email campaigns and newsletters, SMS and MMS messages, and transactional email triggered by a website through its API, and it adds signup and event registration forms on top. The Products page describes it as helping B2C and B2B businesses, marketing departments and individuals run efficient, permission-based email marketing, and it promises that you can produce a professional email in a few minutes.
According to the About page, the company was founded in 2003, became a Microsoft Certified Partner in 2006, and has more than a thousand customers worldwide across many industries; the page description adds that these include 28 listed companies and their subsidiaries. The current version of the platform is Spread 7.0, which the site says brought a new interface and a smart drag-and-drop editor.
Building emails
The homepage describes the editor as a WYSIWYG interface with a smart drag-and-drop editor, usable without any technical or design experience, and says it comes with more than 50 free design templates. A preview function shows how a design will look on different devices so layout and display problems can be caught before sending, and the Products page says emails adapt automatically for mobile readers with responsive layouts. A built-in share button lets you and your subscribers pass an email's content on to social media, which the site presents as a way to bring more traffic to your website.
Personalization is built around segments: you divide subscribers into groups and design subjects and content for each target group, so that customers feel, in the site's words, respected and valued. The Products page also lists smart email (智能化電郵), which creates email marketing content automatically and filters recommended products for each customer based on their behavior.
Smart A/B testing and reports
Spread's A/B tool is called Smart A/B testing. The homepage explains the reasoning: acquiring a list is expensive, so each message has to fit its audience. You build several versions of a campaign, and the system automatically sends out the version that performs best to improve your eDM results.
Reporting centers on the Spread 7.0 customer dashboard. The homepage says it provides detailed statistics, including report summaries, combined campaign summaries and multi-campaign comparison reports. The Products page lists what is tracked: delivery rate, open rate, click rate and bounce rate, results from survey feedback, spam complaint statistics, monitoring of the unsubscribe list, and date and time stamps, all in detailed real-time reports. The site adds that the eDM versions can track the movements of potential customers.
Deliverability and the white-list service
Deliverability is a theme the site returns to often, and one of its feature headings claims an inbox rate ahead of its peers. The Products page says Spread completes email authentication for you, maintains good working relationships with many ISPs worldwide, manages bounces, runs real-time abuse monitoring and optimizes inbox placement. It also offers a "看電郵得獎賞" (read the email, win a reward) campaign to lift response rates.
The company adds a white-list service. The Products page says that as a Microsoft partner it offers a Microsoft white-list service, and that Spread plus the white-list service raises the inbox delivery rate by 27%. The homepage goes further, claiming a 99% guaranteed delivery rate, coverage of 2.5 billion (25億) email inboxes worldwide, and an increase of 50% in click rate and 25% in conversion rate for your marketing. These are the company's own claims. The NGO page also lists "獨立 IP" (a separate IP) together with the white-list service.
API and transactional email
The homepage section on automated sending says Spread's API lets you connect with your customers and automatically send transactional emails and other emails triggered by your website. That makes Spread usable for event-driven mail such as account and order messages as well as for campaigns.
Forms and registrations
Spread builds subscription forms that grow a membership list, and it can also create event registration forms that collect and manage attendee details. The feature menu lists customized subscription forms, and the NGO page mentions sending event invitations with online registration of attendance numbers and details. The Products page also offers publishing your emails in the company's email archive, which it says increases website traffic and helps search ranking.
SMS and MMS
The SMS and MMS service runs in the browser with no software to install. Its features include immediate, one-time scheduled and repeated scheduled sends, which the page suggests for birthday greetings or month-end payment reminders; registration verification and one-time password messages; mail merge, so each message is personalized from uploaded data; a custom sender name (a company name or a mobile number) and a signature prefix for messages to China; a phone book organized into groups and recipients with Excel import; common emojis; free filtering against the OFCA do-not-call register; delivery results and usage statistics; and SMS tracking of open and click rates. International SMS is supported.
Each SMS can hold up to 160 English letters or 70 Chinese characters, counting spaces and punctuation. A longer text is split into several messages, and each one is charged. An MMS can hold up to 1,000 English letters or Chinese characters with a subject of up to 40 characters, and can carry pictures and animated images.
Free trial, NGO accounts and pricing
The site offers a free trial throughout ("免費試用"), and the NGO page shows a 30-day trial. The site does not list plan prices on its product pages; there is a Buy link on the homepage and a sign-up link on the Products page.
The company runs a free program for non-governmental organizations. Its CSR page says it provides NGOs with 1 million bulk emails a year for free. The table behind that offer gives each organization 60,000 emails a month to 10,000 email addresses a month, free for 12 months. Renewal is at half the original price (原價5折), or by referring 2 users who buy. To qualify, the organization must be a government-recognized charity, gets one NGO account only, must not send spam, and must either add a Spread text link to its homepage or place a Spread subscription form on its website. Applicants register a Spread account, submit the application form and receive a confirmation email once the account is activated.
Support and resources
The footer lists a phone line and an email address, an FAQ, a Spread 7.0 user guide, an online support center, a newsletter archive, training sessions and seminars, and a partners and agents section. The feature menu promises a simple interface with dedicated personal service. The site switches between Chinese in traditional and simplified script and English. Recent notices on the homepage include a 2026 customer satisfaction survey and a 2024 notice about the new sender policies at Gmail and Yahoo.
Beyond Spread, the company sells ADSmart for email marketing data rental and online advertising, SEO services, a web CMS and TalkKing (齊聊), an instant messaging tool that integrates email.
Who it suits
Spread suits businesses and organizations that write to their customers in Chinese and want email, SMS and MMS in one platform, with templates, Smart A/B testing and detailed reports. It fits companies that need transactional email from their website alongside campaigns, and it is especially generous to registered charities through the free NGO program. The main caveat is budgeting: plan prices are not on the product pages, so a buyer has to start from the free trial or ask the company.
