Spotler is a marketing software company that describes its range as marketing automation and customer data software that helps businesses build stronger relationships and drive measurable results across channels. Email is at the center of its range, which it sells as three suites: a Marketing Cloud for B2B, a Marketing Cloud for Commerce and a Service Cloud for customer service and the public sector. Within them sit two email marketing products, Spotler Mail+ and Spotler MailPro, a transactional email API called Spotler SendPro, and a messaging product for WhatsApp and SMS called Spotler Message. The company lists offices in The Hague and Utrecht in the Netherlands, Guildford in the United Kingdom and Berlin in Germany, runs regional sites for the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Australia plus an international one, and offers sales and support in English, Dutch, German, Swedish and Spanish.
Two email products
Spotler splits its email marketing in two. The Swedish product page describes Spotler Mail+ as ideal for mid-sized companies that focus on personal email communication and want easy software, and Spotler MailPro as ideal for companies and organizations with complex customization needs, multiple brands and large volumes. Spotler SendPro handles transactional email; the platform's commerce menu describes transactional emails as a way to turn essential updates into branded, personalized experiences, and a case study describes Doctolib using SendPro for large-scale, business-critical transactional communication.
Building newsletters in Mail+
The Dutch Mail+ page is the most detailed description of the editor. It is built so that any marketer or communications specialist can put a newsletter together without effort: smart content blocks and an extensive drag and drop function, with padding, background color, alignment and the rest adjustable by hand, and no HTML knowledge needed. You can start from a blank design or from a standard template loaded with your house style. During onboarding Spotler checks whether its editors meet your needs, and it can design special content blocks or a fully custom email design for you. The Swedish page adds that you can also code your own emails with full HTML control.
The formatting options are included in the license at no extra cost: personalized images, countdown timers, an extensive image editor and document uploads. Templates are optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile. Any content block can be made optional and sent only to a specific part of the audience, a repeat send can be scheduled for contacts who did not open the newsletter, and landing pages built alongside the email can hold "more information" texts, videos, surveys and forms, so that email is tied directly to measurable conversion.
Segments, automation and testing
The Swedish email communication page describes the workflow. Smarter segments come from survey answers, completed forms, email engagement and CRM data, and a FAQ answer says you can segment on any attribute in your email database and exclude contacts. Personalization tailors each email to a person's needs, interests and circumstances. Email flows are triggered by real actions such as email clicks, form submissions or important dates, and the automation comes with templates and dynamic content. Reporting follows opens, clicks and engagement.
A/B tests cover sender name, subject line and content. Web forms and in-depth surveys collect the data for segmentation, and pop-ups and forms help collect email addresses. Generative AI tools write subject lines and content; an account owner can switch them off in the platform settings without losing access to the other Spotler tools. The wider AI range adds conversational, predictive and analytics features.
Messaging, data and integrations
The Marketing Cloud for Commerce adds a customer data platform that collects customer data for profiling and journeys, search and merchandising for online stores, and "WhatsApp, SMS, Social Media" for messaging campaigns and social retargeting. Spotler's WhatsApp guide points marketers to Spotler Message for promotional campaigns, customer support, appointment reminders, polls, order updates and exclusive offers. Case studies on the site include Nubikk, which personalizes across its website, email and WhatsApp, and Rituals, which recruits loyalty members through its stores and WhatsApp.
Integration runs through Spotler Connect, its own connector platform for integrating any system, and through Spotler APIs for custom integrations. The menus also list CRM integrations that connect email, messaging and event channels to a CRM, ecommerce integrations that connect a store to the CDP, email and WhatsApp platforms, ticketing integrations, and a Spotler x Shopware partnership.
Compliance and security
Spotler makes explicit claims here. The Swedish product page states that Spotler's email products are certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 9001 and meet the requirements of GDPR. The site footer carries the labels GDPR compliant, ISO 27001 certified, WCAG compliant and AI Act, and a Trust Center covers data privacy, security and compliance.
Pricing and support
The sites have a pricing section, a price indication request and a quote request, and the contact form offers a demo, pricing or a trial. Onboarding is part of the service: the company makes sure accounts are set up and connected correctly so customers can start straight away. Its expert team is reachable by phone, chat and email, all users are trained on the products and have a help center, and technical specialists help with installation, data, integrations and templates. Separate help centers exist for each product.
Customer quotes on the Swedish page come from Naviva, ID06 and Semper, and a customer program lead at Hemköp says Tempo uses Spotler to send relevant offers to its customers every week, with much of the work done through scheduling and some automation. Kempinski Hotels is cited for reaching 84% satisfaction with a tailored welcome journey, and Lucardi for a 36% rise in average conversion after introducing Spotler Activate.
Who it suits
Spotler suits mid-sized and larger organizations that want email inside a wider marketing stack: B2B teams with a CRM and events, retailers who want email, WhatsApp and a customer data platform together, and public sector or service teams that send regular updates to residents or members. Mail+ is the choice for a communications team that wants an easy editor, MailPro for multi-brand, high-volume senders, and SendPro for transactional mail. The certifications and GDPR statement matter to regulated buyers. A small sender who just wants a cheap newsletter tool is not the audience; pricing runs through a price indication or quote rather than a public self-serve plan.
