What SendMail is

SendMail is a Turkish email service for newsletters and campaigns, transactional email sent from a customer's own software, and email address verification. The footer says it has operated since 2013 under FINS Bilişim Hizmetleri San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., with an address in Üsküdar, İstanbul, and the homepage headline states "2013'ten beri Türkiye'deki işletmelerin e-postalarını gönderiyoruz", we have been sending the emails of businesses in Türkiye since 2013. The three services sit in one panel, and the menu sums up the model: "gönderim ve API aynı kredi havuzuyla", campaign sending and the API draw on the same credit pool. The site claims 1,000+ organizations have sent their email through it and an infrastructure able to send 100 million emails an hour. There is no monthly fee; customers buy packs of sending credits that stay valid for one year.

Campaigns, templates and segmentation

The email marketing product sends newsletters, campaigns and announcements to a customer's list. A campaign starts from a template in SendMail's template center or from the customer's own HTML design, which can be uploaded instead. The homepage pitches campaigns going to a whole list at once on the 100-million-an-hour infrastructure, with a report afterwards showing who opened and who clicked on what.

The features menu lists an editor, automation, segmentation, A/B testing and reports. The homepage gives the specifics: a list can be split by city, by sector or by how contacts reacted to the last campaign, welcome and birthday emails can go out automatically, and an A/B test shows which subject line was opened more. The company's newsletter guide adds that name, company or city fields in a list can personalize the greeting, that content can be chosen by segment (sending an İstanbul event only to İstanbul subscribers, for example), and that the panel's email marketing tools make it easy to test two send days or times on small groups before sending to everyone. After a send, the report shows opens, clicks and unsubscribes, and the guide advises removing bounced addresses from the list.

Before a campaign goes out, the FAQ says, a spam test and image and link checks can be run from the panel. It adds that domain verification with SPF and DKIM, together with a clean list, gives a high rate of reaching the inbox, and recommends cleaning lists with the verification service first.

Transactional email over REST API or SMTP

The API product sends membership confirmations, password resets and order emails from the customer's own software over a REST API or SMTP. The FAQ confirms that transactional mail can be sent from a customer's own system with delivery reports tracked. Transactional sends use the same credit pool as marketing sends, and the homepage says they cost "Gönderim paketleriyle aynı fiyat", the same price as the sending packs, so one pack can cover both a newsletter program and a web shop's order mail. The blog includes a technical guide on what transactional email is, how it differs from bulk email and how to send it through the API.

Email verification

The verification service removes closed, misspelled and risky addresses from a list before sending. According to the homepage, no email is sent to the recipients during the check, and the result is downloaded as an Excel file. Verification is sold separately from sending and starts at $69 for 5,000 addresses.

Packages and prices

Prices are listed in USD, exclude VAT (KDV) and are paid in Turkish lira, and the site describes them as annual: credits last one year from purchase, and unused credits lapse when the year is up. A card payment is credited to the account immediately, and a bank accounts page covers payment by transfer. The published sending packs are:

  • 5,000 sends: $69
  • 25,000 sends: $99, marked "Önerilen" (recommended)
  • 50,000 sends: $149
  • 100,000 sends: $199

There is no limit on how many addresses an account can upload. The FAQ says packs are priced by the number of emails sent, so even with 1 million addresses in a list, only the emails actually sent are deducted from the credits. For needs outside the packs, every product section has a "Teklif alın" (get a quote) button, and creating an account is free.

Legal framework

The FAQ answers the question of whether bulk email is legal: yes, if recipients gave permission in advance, because Law No. 6563 on commercial electronic messages requires consent. The footer repeats that "SendMail yalnızca 6563 sayılı Kanun'a uygun, izinli gönderimler için kullanılabilir", SendMail may only be used for permitted sends that comply with Law 6563, and the FAQ says an unsubscribe link is added to every message. The newsletter guide warns against purchased lists as both unlawful and damaging to sender reputation. The legal section links to a service agreement, a privacy policy, refund terms, a distance sales contract, a pre-information form and a KVKK disclosure text.

Support and onboarding

Support is by phone and email on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00, and the FAQ invites customers to call so that "hesabınızı tanıyan biri yanıtlasın", someone who knows your account answers. With the first purchase, SendMail gives free training: the team works through uploading the list, preparing a template and reading the reports together with the customer. The blog covers deliverability, list management and regulation, with guides on writing newsletters, raising open rates, sending bulk mail step by step and the daily limits on sending bulk mail from Gmail, with advice on which route to take when a newsletter has to reach hundreds of people.

The references page lists the organizations that send through SendMail. It includes brands such as Fujifilm, ASUS, Dermalogica and ALJ Toyota, the municipality of İnegöl, associations, universities such as Amasya Üniversitesi, hotel groups, trade fair organizers, insurers and industrial manufacturers.

Who it suits

SendMail suits businesses in Türkiye that want newsletters, transactional mail and list cleaning from one supplier, paid per email rather than per contact, with a Turkish contract, lira payment and phone support. A company with a large list and an irregular schedule pays only for what it sends, and one with a web shop or app can run order and password emails through the same credit pool as its campaigns. The free onboarding training helps teams sending their first campaigns. Credits expire after a year, so the pack size should match a year's realistic volume.
