Selzy is an email marketing platform for small and midsize businesses that sends bulk campaigns, automated and triggered emails, and transactional mail through SMTP and Web APIs, and adds SMS, RCS messaging, Telegram and WhatsApp chatbots, signup forms, pop-ups, a landing page builder and an email verifier. Its About page gives the mission as helping small and midsize businesses grow revenue through straightforward, sustainable and affordable email marketing, and describes Selzy as an ecosystem of easy-to-use marketing automation tools. The company lists its headquarters in Paphos, Republic of Cyprus, works as a remote-first team spread around the world, and says it has 50,000+ clients and delivers 1,000,000,000+ emails every month.
Getting started
The homepage promises a first campaign in 15 minutes, in three steps. You import contacts manually, from an XLS or CSV file, or by transferring data from another ESP; you build the email; and you launch it in one click and follow the results. The free plan needs no credit card, and access takes one click.
Building emails
The builder is block-based. Selzy's own description is "Build your email like a Lego toy with pre-made blocks and templates," and the features page counts 140+ responsive templates, or you can start from scratch in the drag-and-drop editor. Every email is responsive, and you can go further and make a separate version for mobile devices.
AI runs through the editor. The AI email assistant offers several roles, including translator, proofreader, copywriter and analyst, and turns a rough draft into finished copy. An AI template generator builds a branded email template from your business website in 60 seconds, with visuals, logo, layout, text and formatting. The AI image generator creates and refines images inside the builder, and the pricing page notes that you do not need to pay for other AI tools for this. A built-in media library supplies stock images and GIFs, and shareable email URLs turn a campaign into a link you can post on social media.
Automation, segmentation and testing
Automation covers triggered and scheduled campaigns built in a visual workflow builder, from scratch or from ready-made scenarios such as a welcome series, event reminders and reactivating inactive subscribers. The drip campaign page lists welcome and onboarding flows through to reactivation and abandoned cart reminders, and autoresponders handle welcome messages, product promotions and special offers.
Segmentation offers 70+ criteria, including demographics, behavior and interests. Personalization reaches beyond the subscriber's name, with examples such as a discount on viewed products or a birthday offer. A/B testing covers subject lines, send times and anything else you want to compare, and send time optimization is part of the core feature set.
Deliverability tools
An email quality checker runs before you send. It validates code and checks for spam issues, checks email size including images and attachments, checks your SPF, DKIM and DMARC settings, rates each email with tips on reaching the inbox rather than spam, and suggests improvements to the subject line and preheader. The features page claims 99.8% deliverability, and the homepage claims a delivery rate above 99%. A dedicated IP is available as an add-on for $20 to connect plus $40 a month, and the email verifier cleans a list in one click.
Forms, landing pages and other channels
Subscription forms come as embedded forms built from customizable blocks or as pop-ups, and the pop-up builder has 25+ templates. The landing page builder promises a page in 5 minutes with no design or coding.
On SMS, Selzy offers bulk and transactional sending with sender name setup, scheduled sending, personalization, API integration, analytics and campaign automation. The SMS pricing page gives SMS campaigns "from $0.03 / SMS message," excluding VAT, with per-country rates listed. A standard message holds 160 Latin characters and counts as one segment, and cost is proportional to the number of segments. Sending needs an account topped up by a legal entity or sole proprietor and a registered sender name, which the mobile operator can take up to 30 days to verify. RCS messages carry a branded sender ID, buttons, carousels and verified delivery. The Telegram chatbot builder is included with the Standard plan at no extra cost, and a WhatsApp chatbot builder and bulk WhatsApp sender work without code.
Integrations and API
Selzy connects to other software through plugins for online stores, CMSs and CRMs, a new Zapier integration, and an API whose methods cover contact lists, creating and sending messages, templates, and additional fields and tags. For transactional email, the features page says the SMTP API can send up to 50,000 emails per hour right away, and the Web API up to 60 million per hour. An MCP server lets you connect an AI assistant to Selzy to analyze campaigns, work with contacts and lists, and create or send campaigns from prompts. Analytics include Google Analytics integration, a clickmap showing which part of an email converts, aggregated reports and dashboards.
Integration use is priced by transactions, in four plans. A 30-day free trial includes 100 transactions; after that, 1,000 transactions cost $1 per 30 days, 2,000 cost $2, 5,000 cost $4 and 10,000 cost $8.
Plans and pricing
The homepage says you can send for free or "go unlimited starting at just $7 per month," choosing between unlimited contacts and unlimited emails. The pricing page shows both options.
- Free: up to 1,000 emails a month to 100 contacts, at $0. A Selzy logo is added to the footer of emails on this plan.
- Lite: a complete toolkit to get started, priced by contact list size with unlimited emails.
- Standard: labeled "Best deal," with all core features, a deliverability boost and lifetime access to the Email Marketing 101 course, available in English and Portuguese.
- Enterprise: for 500k+ contacts, with a dedicated manager and a performance boost, priced case by case.
- Prepaid credits: bulk email packages from 5,000 to 10,000,000 emails with unlimited contact list size, from $0.005 per email, and "save up to 88%" on larger packages.
New users can also take a 14-day trial with up to 10,000 emails to 2,000 contacts. The FAQ says the trial needs a card for verification only, and you will not be charged. Yearly billing saves 30%, and a current offer gives 30% off for 12 months. If you exceed a limit on Prepaid credits, Lite or Standard, you can still send: each overage costs extra depending on your location and currency, and the system asks you to pay before the campaign goes out. Payment is by credit card or PayPal, and a plan change takes effect after the current billing period.
The email verifier is priced separately, pay as you go. On the pricing page, 5,000 checks cost $20, 100,000 cost $200 and 3,000,000 cost $2,100.
Support, services and data protection
Support runs 24/7 by chat, email and phone, in six languages, and the homepage says this holds even on the free plan. Selzy reports a 5-minute average response time, 95% of cases solved in 5 minutes and a 97% satisfaction rate, and the footer lists support phone numbers for several countries. For hands-off help there is a full-service offer covering email marketing consulting, campaign audit and management, email design, list building and automation setup, plus free email marketing consulting. Selzy Academy, webinars, a Help Center, benchmarks and free marketing calculators round out the resources.
On data protection, the homepage states: "Selzy complies with GDPR and Consumer Protection Laws." The site is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Ukrainian and Brazilian Portuguese, and the pricing page shows a 4.8/5 rating based on 488 reviews.
Who it suits
Selzy suits small and midsize businesses, solo marketers and newsletter senders who want a low-cost start, a builder that needs no design skills, and fast help when something goes wrong. The choice between paying for contacts and paying for emails lets both large, rarely mailed lists and small, frequently mailed ones find a fitting plan, and SMS, RCS and chatbots are there when email alone is not enough. The caveats are practical: the free plan is small at 100 contacts and adds Selzy branding, and SMS requires a registered sender name that can take up to 30 days to approve.
