What 楽楽メールマーケティング is

楽楽メールマーケティング (Raku Raku Mail Marketing) is a cloud email marketing service from RAKUS Co., Ltd. (株式会社ラクス), and it is the product previously sold as 配配メール (Hai2mail). The product site carries the notice 「配配メール」は「楽楽メールマーケティング」に名称が変わりました (Hai2mail has been renamed Raku Raku Mail Marketing), and the old Hai2mail site announces the same change and says it is being rolled out in stages. The product FAQ describes a single service for email creation, sending, measurement and list management: template-based newsletters and bulk sends, open and click analysis, forms and scenario mail. It serves Japanese companies that send newsletters and customer mail, and B2B sales teams that want email to turn prospects into meetings. The site says more than 10,000 companies have introduced it, counted at the end of December 2025.

RAKUS is headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, was established on 1 November 2000 and is listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (code 3923). Its company profile gives 3,086 employees for the group and 1,907 for the company alone as of 31 March 2025. The email service belongs to the front office side of its 楽楽クラウド (Raku Raku Cloud) range, next to back office tools for expense claims, invoicing, sales management and attendance, and the product page links to three related services: an automated inquiry response system, a tool built for winning sales meetings, and a mail relay service.

Writing and sending email

The product page promises sending in three steps. You write the message in an editor that builds HTML mail by drag and drop, load the list in bulk from a CSV file, and then send to everyone at once or schedule delivery for a set date and time. The HTML editor lets you change text color and size and insert images visually, with no HTML knowledge needed, and the Hai2mail site adds that text, images and video can be dropped in from the editor. Templates, merge fields (差し込み機能), a guide function and preheader settings round out the writing tools.

The sending options listed on the Hai2mail site are HTML mail, multiple From addresses, scheduled sending, multipart (HTML plus text) sending, multilingual sending, coupon delivery, attachments and encrypted delivery with STARTTLS. A bulk CSV import can hold up to 100,000 records and 15MB per upload. The service runs in a browser on a PC or tablet; a smartphone can reach only the PC admin screen, and feature phones are not supported.

The efficiency gain is the first result the site quotes. In a case from 一般社団法人日本経営協会, each send went from 30 minutes to an hour of work down to about 10 minutes, cutting the workload by about 70%.

Lists, forms and the company database

Customer management covers bulk registration and export, API links, sign-up and unsubscribe by blank email, automatically generated QR codes for sign-up, a My Page for subscribers, and registration and cancellation forms. You can also send to part of a list with segmented delivery (セグメント配信). Web forms for inquiries and document requests are quick to build, can be embedded on your own site, and take fully custom fields.

A feature aimed at sales teams is the company list download. The site calls BIZMAPS "国内最大級の企業データベース" (one of the largest company databases in Japan), with more than 1.7 million registered companies, and lets you search it by industry, region and number of employees and download a list of matching firms to email. That is why the product page says the service is "配信リストが0でも利用可能" (usable even with a list of zero).

Automation and lead follow-up

The marketing automation page sets out the pitch plainly. The service uses the prospect data a company already holds to create sales meetings efficiently, and compared with general marketing automation tools it carries a selected set of features aimed at generating meetings, so the hurdle to adopt and use it is low. The FAQ says RAKUS picked features that actually produced results when used, which it argues makes it easier to find a winning pattern and run the improvement cycle. It groups the features in four stages:

  • Reach prospects: HTML mail, bulk sending, scheduled sending and multilingual sending.
  • Spot customers who are waking up: website visit notifications (来訪通知) and hot lead extraction (ホットリード抽出).
  • Carry interest through to a deal: step mail, trigger mail, popups and a scheduling function.
  • Management and analysis: scores by industry and sending purpose, rankings by measured effect, conversion tracking and Google Analytics integration.

The scheduling function connects to a calendar, finds free slots, books the meeting automatically and issues a video meeting URL. The Hai2mail news list reports an August 2026 update that automates scheduling for meetings with several attendees, and an August 2026 release of a feature that writes targeted email automatically. Scenario mail, which the FAQ describes as email sent automatically according to the user's behavior or conditions, memory delivery, follow-up mail and automatic status changes complete the list.

Reporting and integrations

A heatmap shows the days and times with the highest open rates, and a comparison view sets your own open and click rates against average values. Click counting, analysis and automatic handling of delivery errors, A/B test sending and a results dashboard sit alongside it.

Connectors link the service to kintone and Salesforce, and an API connects other tools. The Hai2mail site says customer records held in a CRM or business card management tool can be registered in the service, and that open and click results can be passed back to those systems. Its news list also reports a link with the web design platform Studio (June 2026) and a new option connected to Sansan's Eight Team (May 2026).

Plans and pricing

There are two plans. Standard is for teams that are not yet analyzing their results and want to make sending more efficient; it includes email creation, sending, and analysis and measurement. Bridge is for teams whose telephone prospecting is not producing results, adds the email marketing functions, and aims to raise the number of meetings won from new customer development.

The FAQ explains the pricing structure: an initial fee plus a monthly fee that depends on the plan and the number of registered addresses, with no limit on the number of sends and no extra charge however often you send. Exact prices come in a price list you request from the site. The minimum term is 12 months from the start of billing, after which the contract renews month by month. Service can start within as little as 4 business days of applying, and the sales team will try to go faster when a customer is in a hurry. A free trial runs on the same environment as the live service, with no installation or software download, and onboarding follows five steps: inquiry, needs hearing, proposal, start of use, and support for adoption and operation.

Deliverability and security

The service supports SPF and DKIM authentication and STARTTLS encryption, and runs under 24-hour, 365-day monitoring in "国内屈指のデータセンター" (one of the leading data centers in Japan). The FAQ adds a fair caveat: delivery rates depend on the content and on the recipient's mail environment.

Support

Support is free from introduction through day-to-day operation, with no additional cost, and the marketing automation page calls it "安心安全、永年無料" (safe, secure and free for as long as you use it). It covers phone and email help and learning content, and questions about how to use email sending and email marketing, not only how to operate the tool. The Hai2mail site mentions a dedicated team that also reviews email copy. The site reports a 95% satisfaction score for support, from a user survey. Phone lines serve Tokyo (03-6675-3612) and Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka (06-6376-5222) on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00, and free guides cover practical email marketing, newsletter questions and marketing automation basics.

Results the company reports

The product pages quote several customer results. N-Asset Berry (株式会社エヌアセットBerry) says automatic follow-up brings in 80 inquiries a month, Tele-Marker (株式会社テレ・マーカー) says it wins meetings at half its previous cost per meeting, and another customer saw appointments rise 4.5 times compared with its previous sales activity. On the Hai2mail site, a staffing firm reports inquiries up about 150%, a trading company says a 5-person email team outsold a 35-person sales force, and a service company says step mail cut 2 to 3 hours of follow-up writing to zero. The Hai2mail site also cites a 2021 survey by 株式会社ショッパーズアイ of 274 email system users, comparing 10 services by site impression, that ranked it No.1 for cost effectiveness.

Who it suits

楽楽メールマーケティング suits Japanese companies that send often and want a flat monthly fee regardless of volume, from a team moving its first newsletter off BCC mail to a B2B sales department that wants visit alerts, hot lead lists and automatic meeting booking. Teams on kintone or Salesforce can connect their records directly, and a sales team without a list can start from the BIZMAPS database.

It is built for the Japanese market. The sites, the support desk and the guides are all in Japanese, prices come on request by address count, and the 12-month minimum term makes the free trial the sensible place to start.
