What PostyMan is

PostyMan is a do-it-yourself bulk email marketing service for sending promotional campaigns, mailers and newsletters to lists a business already owns. Its home page sums it up as a way to "Create, Send & Track bulk emails", and says the plans and team are there for anyone from "a small business with few lists" to "an agency sending millions of emails every month". The company gives its address in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, and its mass email page is titled as a mass email marketing service in India.

The site leads with four figures: 6000 satisfied customers, 1100+ million emails delivered, use in 10+ countries, and business since 2012. The hero line calls it a service "used by over 6000 clients in 10 countries". The company says that since 2012 its service has been preferred over other cheap bulk email services in India and in countries such as the US, UK, Canada and Australia and across Europe, and it credits a round-the-clock team with letting it serve customers in many time zones. Its own summary of its focus is short: "Email delivery is all we focus on."

Building and sending a campaign

The mass email page lays out the workflow in four steps, and the tool is built around exactly that sequence.

Create a list. You import your existing email database or use website forms to build a list from sign-ups on your own site. The home page names the list tools behind this: CSV import, data export and a suppression list, the record of addresses that must not be mailed again. An account can hold more than one list, because the scheduling options let you send to everyone or only to selected lists.

Design the campaign. You either paste in your own HTML email or start from the built-in email templates and edit them in the drag-and-drop editor, which the home page says lets you design a campaign by simply dragging and dropping it together. Having both routes matters for agencies: a designer can hand over finished HTML, while a client's in-house marketer can work visually from a template.

Send it. A campaign can be blasted to the list at once or scheduled. The page describes scheduling a newsletter or mailer "to go out to everyone or just selected lists at the time and date that you select". The home page adds a note on speed: the tool "achieves high delivery speed for your campaigns".

Track the results. Real-time reports show opens, bounces and link clicks. The mass email page describes campaign tracking with real-time statistics that include open, read and click rates, meant to help a sender measure return on investment and refine its strategy.

Among what it calls advanced email marketing features, the home page also lists an autoresponder, so a message can go out automatically rather than as a manual campaign. Real-time statistics and data export sit in the same list.

Delivery infrastructure

Delivery is where PostyMan spends most of its words, and it describes four layers.

Routing. Its "Pro Delivery Engine" sends bulk email through various delivery routes to maximize inbox landing. The home page says the platform balances traffic and picks delivery routes across a large network to improve bulk delivery.

Reputation monitoring. An in-house SMTP monitoring system watches IP reputation across real-time blacklists (RBLs) to head off delivery problems. The mass email page adds that the company proactively monitors its infrastructure's reputation with major ISPs, and that its team's experience goes into constantly improving inbox delivery.

Dedicated IPs. Both pages mark this feature with an asterisk. The home page says a dedicated IP "may be assigned to you" to help build sender reputation and improve inbox delivery; the mass email page describes a dedicated IP assigned to your account for the same purpose. For a sender with steady, high volume, a dedicated address means its reputation is its own rather than shared with other customers.

Uptime. The home page cites servers in multiple data centers in the US, Europe and Asia, which it says help achieve 99.99% service uptime. The mass email page puts it slightly differently, describing a delivery platform "spread across vendors across the globe providing 99.99% service uptime".

Plans, free trial and support

Plans are listed on a separate pricing page. The home page describes the pricing as competitive and suitable for regular and large bulk email senders, and invites visitors to "Select one of our attractive email marketing plans and start sending bulk emails". A payment options page sits beside it.

Anyone can try the service first. The site offers an instant trial signup with a "30 days free trial account", and a Signup Free button on every page. The navigation also points to a reseller program and an affiliate program, which fits the agency audience the site keeps addressing.

Support runs through three channels. During working hours, customers can get issues resolved by email, ticket and live chat. The site lists a sales phone line, +91-890 399 1000, and a sales address at the postyman.com domain on every page.

What customers say

The site carries three short testimonials, each from a marketing or publishing business. A publishing house in the US calls PostyMan "Our chosen bulk email vendor for the last few years" and says it has helped deliver targeted and timely marketing emails. An online marketing agency in India calls it a "Good bulk email delivery platform with good support" and its go-to tool for all its campaigns. A marketing firm in the UK praises "Pretty fast email delivery" for sending out a huge email volume. Speed, support and steady delivery are the three themes, matching what the company itself stresses.

Who it suits

PostyMan suits senders who already have a list, want to push campaigns out in volume, and care most about the delivery side: agencies mailing for clients, publishers sending regular newsletters, and small businesses that want a simple tool rather than a large marketing suite. The four-step workflow, template editor and scheduling cover the core of campaign work, and the routing, blacklist monitoring and optional dedicated IP give a high-volume sender some control over reputation.

The trade-off is scope. PostyMan presents itself as a bulk email tool first, with a short feature list of lists, forms, templates, scheduling, an autoresponder and real-time reports. A team that wants a broad marketing suite with other channels in the same account is not the audience the site is written for, while an agency or publisher that wants to send, track and move on will find the 30-day trial an easy way to test its delivery speed.
