What Ozmailer is
Ozmailer (오즈메일러) is a newsletter-based email marketing platform run by Webstage Co., Ltd. ((주)웹스테이지) from Seoul, and its copyright line runs from 2002 to 2026. The about page describes it as a monthly flat-rate service that bundles a newsletter design builder, address book management, bulk sending, result analysis, subscriber acquisition tools, automatic handling of bad addresses and text-message newsletters. The homepage headline promises that "이메일도 문자도, 15분이면 끝" (email and text, done in 15 minutes), and says about 2,000 organizations and companies have chosen Ozmailer ("2,000여 기관 및 기업에서 선택한 오즈메일러").
It is a web-based cloud service, so nothing is installed: a customer signs up, confirms the email address by clicking a verification link, and logs in. The FAQ explains that verification step as a way to keep spam senders off the platform. The site is in Korean, prices are in won, and the compliance guidance follows the country's Information and Communications Network Act (정보통신망법).
The about page names who it is for: public institutions, government bodies and corporate PR or marketing teams sending regular bulletins; associations, NGOs, research institutes, academic societies, centers and federations writing to members and donors; and membership businesses such as hotels, resorts and online shops where managing members is the core of the business.
Building a newsletter
The newsletter builder is aimed at people without HTML or design skills. Customers pick from around 300 templates ("300여 종"), sorted by theme, design and difficulty and grouped on the homepage into email, mobile, card-news or single-image, and NGO or public administration types. Blocks are moved by drag and drop, paragraphs can be added and rearranged so one template turns into a different layout, and an editor handles font, font size, color and alignment. Images are managed through a secure path inside Ozmailer, with no FTP upload, and the FAQ recommends that built-in image hosting because Chrome's stricter security rules can hide images served from unsecured paths. The about page says swapping in a logo, text and images is enough to finish a clean newsletter in 15 minutes.
Mobile templates are laid out for phones, since the FAQ notes that responsive design does not apply in email. Video plays only on an external page, but a YouTube template generates a GIF preview linked to the video. Files are not embedded in the email: they go out as secured links, with storage size and number of files handled as a paid add-on.
Sending and list management
Pricing is a flat monthly fee based on the number of email addresses held, so a customer can send as often as it likes without per-send charges. The FAQ says Ozmailer can send up to 100만 (one million) emails at once and asks larger senders to plan the distribution with the Ozmailer team first; the about page says large sends of more than 10만 or 20만 messages run reliably. Every email goes out one to one, so no recipient sees another's name or address. Sends can be scheduled, as long as the scheduled date falls within the paid period, and a send in progress or a scheduled send can be canceled.
Failed deliveries are retried automatically according to the failure reason, up to 10 times according to the homepage and the bulk-mail page (the about page's FAQ gives up to 9 retries for temporary errors). Bad and failing addresses are sorted by cause, and before the next send Ozmailer decides whether to keep or exclude each one. Unsubscribes are processed automatically and the opt-out list is easy to manage. Duplicate addresses uploaded to the same group are cleaned up automatically, and duplicates across groups are not billed twice. For an old list, a separate pre-send database verification service removes most bad data before the first campaign.
Personalization inserts a recipient's name or phone number into the subject and body, and uploaded memo fields extend this to other data, which the FAQ suggests for messages such as per-customer billing notices. Growth tools include a newsletter subscription wizard and a recommend-to-a-friend feature, and a welcome email can be sent automatically to every new subscriber.
Deliverability and compliance
The about page says Ozmailer runs its own optimized sending engine and tunes delivery to the spam and security policies of the major mail services. The FAQ says the technical pre-measures against the spam folder, SPF, RBL, DKIM and DMARC, are already in place on Ozmailer's side, that the service follows every standard set by KISA, including RBL, SPF and white-domain registration, and that customers need no extra setup.
The sending policy is opt-in only. The FAQ allows mail only to members who agreed to receive it, with narrow exceptions such as press releases to journalists whose addresses are public, and treats customers with a prior business relationship as equivalent to opt-in. It reminds senders that under the Information and Communications Network Act, commercial email must carry "(광고)" (advertisement) in the subject line.
Reports
Results cover successes, failures and opens, clicks on links and attachments, mobile device views, weekly, monthly and yearly trend analysis and loyalty analysis, with URL tracking of what recipients click. The homepage describes the reports as real-time, from open rate to click data.
Text messages
Ozmailer also sends SMS, LMS and MMS. Templates suitable for mobile carry a "문자로 가능" (available by text) mark, and such a newsletter can be edited and sent to phones as an LMS or MMS with one button. The text-message service, updated to version 2.0, advertises SMS and LMS with "99% 도달율" (99% delivery). Numbers can be typed in, picked from an address book group, uploaded from Excel or re-selected from past sends. Messages can carry the recipient's name and job title, and the SMS page says personalized messages get at least twice the response of generic ones. A button inserts the "(광고)" label, another strips invisible characters that cause failed sends, and a real-time report shows success and failure rates with the reason for each failure. The 080 opt-out number required for advertising texts is included by default with no separate application, and opt-outs are filtered automatically. Text messages are paid for separately, as needed.
Prices, free use and support
The monthly fee depends on the size of the address book, and the bulk-mail page's headline is "1만원으로 시작하는 이메일 마케팅" (email marketing starting from 1만원 a month). Prepaying gives 5% off for 3 months, 10% for 6 months and 20% for 12 months. Public-benefit nonprofits in welfare or relief work get a special discount of 50% on payments of 3 months or more, after a check of their registration certificate (고유번호증).
After signing up, most features can be used free during a free-use period, including templates, group management, data upload, sending and real-time statistics, before switching to a paid plan.
Support runs Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, with a lunch break from 11:45 to 13:00, and the FAQ points to phone and channel chat. Several people can log in with one ID, though the FAQ advises that only one of them does data work or sending at a time.
Who it suits
Ozmailer fits organizations that write to members regularly in Korean: an association or NGO sending newsletters and event notices, a public body distributing bulletins, or a hotel or online shop managing members. The flat monthly fee rewards frequent sending, the nonprofit discount is substantial, and the same design can go out by email and by text. Senders who need an API or integrations should note that the site describes none.
