What MessageFlow is
MessageFlow is a cross-channel communication platform that sends marketing and transactional email alongside SMS, RCS, mobile push, Viber and WhatsApp. It calls itself "a one-stop-shop for messaging solutions, an integrated suite of products for marketing cross-channel communication", and the home page promises infrastructure "built to scale and standards shaped by European regulations." The site is in English and Polish, and its newsletter sign-up names Vercom S.A., based in Poznań, as the company that processes subscribers' data. The home page claims the platform has been "battle-tested by over 63k demanding brands" and speaks of "20 years of global experience". It is built for two audiences at once: marketing teams, who get a self-service panel, and developers, who get an API covering every channel.
Email and the other channels
Email is offered for both marketing and transactions, "UI or API": a marketer can build and send campaigns in the panel, while an application sends its order confirmations, password resets and notifications through the API or SMTP. The other channels each carry a short description on the site: SMS for "secure campaigns & critical comms", RCS for rich brand experiences, mobile push with a "powerful API & marketing dashboard", Viber for "rich media campaigns in OTT", and WhatsApp for "marketing, sales & support at scale". The message is that a business can run all of them from one account and one integration instead of a separate supplier per channel.
The marketing platform
For marketers the home page describes a single solution with cross-channel capabilities: email, SMS and push campaigns are sent from "an intuitive self-service panel", and messages are built in a "user-friendly low-code creator". The team offers to assist, verify settings and run tests before you send, which is useful for a company moving an existing list over. MessageFlow says you can "send at any scale from day one."
Advanced features are named as products of their own:
- MessageFlow Segments for real-time customer segmentation, so campaign audiences update as customer data changes.
- MessageFlow Priority, a priority path for OTP and 2FA messages, so login and verification codes are not held up behind bulk sends.
- Email analytics API for advanced email reporting, pulled into your own systems.
- Message Booster, described as a way to boost campaign reach and revenue.
The developer platform
For developers the pitch is "all channels in a single API". The integration catalog lists SMTP, a REST API and webhooks, and the home page shows a working request to version 2.1 of the API that creates a contact with company name, email, external ID, first and last name, phone number, custom external data and group membership. The same sample is given in C#, Go, Java, Node, PHP, Python, Ruby and Shell. The site links to API documentation, a knowledge base with guides, webinars and onboarding resources, FAQs, case studies and a status page. Requests are authenticated with an application key and an authorization header. In the samples, a POST to the contact endpoint creates contacts in bulk as a JSON array, and a PUT to the same endpoint updates existing contacts matched by their external ID, which is the pattern a shop or CRM would use to keep MessageFlow's contact base in step with its own customer records. Custom fields travel in an externalData object, so attributes such as whether someone is already a client can be stored with the contact and used later for segmentation.
The developer section adds support that is "ready to advise, verify settings, and run tests", a combination of international practice with local market knowledge, and a security list of "ISO and GDPR compliance, SOC2, 2FA, anti-phishing shield".
Integrations and partners
Named integrations are Synerise, ManagoAI and Microsoft. MessageFlow can be deployed directly from Microsoft Azure Marketplace and integrated with an existing Azure environment, which suits companies that buy software through their Azure agreement. There is a partner program for companies that want to grow their own business with MessageFlow and a page listing current partners. The company also runs a monthly newsletter on new channels and regulatory changes, in line with the compliance focus of the rest of the site.
Deliverability, scale and support
The home page claims "our outstanding 99% deliverability rate across a wide range of channels and diverse markets worldwide", and in the developer section "up to 99% deliverability of your messaging". Its "why us" list names direct connections with operators, high throughput during peak traffic, global scale with local expertise, and all channels in a single API. Support is described as 24/7, "with premium SLA and care of a dedicated Customer Success Specialist, consultations, and audits", and the developer section promises "five-star customer support".
Security and compliance
The site's header lists NIS2, DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001 and CSA under compliance and security. The security menu states "ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and DORA compliance backed by regular audits", data protection with "encryption and secure data processing in the EEA", and a trust center with policies, certifications and security status in one place. The footer links a business security page, a CSA page, an NIS2 and DORA page, an anti-spam policy and a form to report abuse. For a bank, insurer or retailer inside the EU, the EEA processing statement and the DORA reference will be the relevant lines.
Industries
Solutions pages are organized by sector. E-commerce and retail covers orders, carts and promotions; financial services covers transactions, OTP and 2FA; transport and logistics covers shipment updates and notifications. Each maps directly onto the channels above: order and cart email for shops, priority OTP codes by SMS for banks, delivery notices by SMS, push or WhatsApp for carriers.
Plans and pricing
Pricing sits on its own page in the main menu. You can open an account yourself with "Create an account" or start with "Talk to an expert", and the home page's closing call to action is "Register now".
Who it suits
MessageFlow suits mid-sized and large companies that send both marketing and transactional messages across several channels and want one supplier and one API for all of them: online retailers with order and cart flows, banks and fintechs that depend on fast OTP delivery, and logistics companies sending shipment updates. EU organizations under NIS2 or DORA, or those that need data processed in the EEA, get those statements on the site. Marketing teams get a self-service panel and low-code creator, developers get REST, SMTP and webhooks with code samples in eight languages. A solo newsletter writer who only needs a simple email tool will find more platform here than necessary.
