What Mailsoftly is

Mailsoftly is email marketing and automation software from Mailsoftly Inc., which its footer places in San Ramon, California. The FAQ sums the product up as campaigns, visual automations, segmentation, signup forms and landing pages, with deliverability tooling built in and real humans on support. The homepage pitch is that Mailsoftly handles deliverability, automation and segmentation, including inbox placement and list hygiene, so that you can focus on the message.

The FAQ names three things the company says set it apart: a real person answers support on every plan including the free one, deliverability is treated as a core feature rather than an upsell, and pricing stays simple as your list grows. The Solutions menu lists the sectors it writes for: nonprofits, schools and PTAs, PTA councils, government and the public sector, agencies and freelancers, e-commerce and retail, startups and SaaS, real estate, law firms, accountants, financial advisors, dentists, consultants and coaches, and enterprise. The site is available in English, Turkish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Japanese and Italian.

The free plan and getting started

Mailsoftly is free up to 500 contacts and 2,000 emails a month, with no credit card required. You create the account with Google or Microsoft sign-in, or with an email address. The FAQ explains a detail that affects how fast you can send: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts get the quickest start, while personal Gmail or Outlook.com accounts work too but get lower sending limits while the account builds trust. Paid plans add higher sending volumes, and the site has a separate pricing page and offers a 15 minute demo. The closing banner promises "No credit card required · Cancel anytime · Real humans on support".

Writing and designing emails

The email editor comes in three forms: an AI-powered drag and drop editor, a rich-text editor and a custom HTML editor. An AI Email Generator is offered to improve the performance of your emails. A template gallery starts you from layouts for a welcome, an announcement, a holiday or a webinar, and you can save your own; the template menu also lists newsletters, drip marketing, animated email and nonprofit designs.

Brand Kit is a time saver for small teams. You paste your website address and Mailsoftly pulls your logo, colors, one-line pitch and social links from the site, ready to theme every email. You can edit anything or regenerate it in a click.

Subject lines get their own help. Right where you write, Mailsoftly offers five ready-to-send options, each tagged by the angle it takes: benefit, urgency, curiosity, personalized, or plain and direct. Next to them sits a spam check. A/B testing is one click: two subject lines go to a slice of your list, and the winner goes to everyone else. Every campaign also receives a spam and delivery score before it goes out.

Campaigns and reporting

Campaign reports "name names", in the homepage's words: open rate, click rate, bounces and unsubscribes, down to which recipient opened and clicked. The workspace is described as "one calm screen" showing sends, opens, audience growth and deliverability health together. Reporting and analytics are listed as a product area of their own, and the use-case pages cover email blasts, mail merge and drip marketing.

Audience, forms and landing pages

Contacts arrive with company, role and tags, and segments keep their own counts up to date. Segments combine custom rules with smart segments such as "at risk" or "not engaged lately", all with live counts. Audience Insights analyzes your contacts in one click and suggests segments by geography, role and data quality.

Signup forms take minutes to build, embed anywhere, and send submissions straight into your audience. Landing pages give you a branded page with a built-in signup form, hosted by Mailsoftly, so you can collect subscribers without a website of your own. A branded preference center lets people choose the topics they want instead of unsubscribing outright, which the site presents as unsubscribes that keep trust.

Automation

Automations are built on a visual canvas. The homepage names welcome, birthday and win-back flows, and says they branch on what each contact does, so different people take different paths through the same flow. The platform menu lists marketing automation and email automation ("automated flows that send themselves"), and drip marketing appears among the use cases as timed sequences that nurture on autopilot.

Deliverability

This is the area Mailsoftly stresses most. Its deliverability view brings domain authentication, sending reputation and complaint rates together, checked continuously and explained in plain language. Three tools sit behind it:

  • Guided domain setup connects SPF, DKIM and DMARC with copy-paste DNS records. Mailsoftly detects your DNS provider and verifies the records for you.
  • Gradual sending warms up a big send automatically, sending a daily batch on the days you choose until the list is done.
  • Bounce and complaint rates sit on the dashboard you check every day, next to your reputation score.

An Email Authentication Service is also listed as its own product, and the Resources menu includes tools for campaigns, personalization and deliverability.

Integrations and API

The FAQ lists integrations with Zapier, WordPress, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Shopify and Jotform, plus webhooks and an API for anything custom. A Developers and API page sits in the footer. Migration is covered in the FAQ: you import contacts from a CSV export of your old tool, keep your tags and lists, and rebuild templates in the editor, and the support team helps with the move at no charge. Purchase order and invoice billing are available to nonprofits and public institutions.

Other channels, compliance and support

The footer's product list includes SMS marketing alongside email. It also links to pages on GDPR compliance, CCPA and "Do not sell my information", and to a Report Abuse form. Support resources are a help center, video guides and an FAQ, plus a contact page, and the company invites businesses to join it as a Business Partner. The homepage shows review scores including 4.8 on TrustRadius.

Who it suits

Mailsoftly suits small organizations that want an easy start and help when they get stuck: nonprofits, schools and PTAs, local professional firms, consultants and small shops. The free plan is large enough for a real first list, the brand kit and templates cut design time, and the deliverability tools do the domain work that often stops new senders. Teams on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 get going fastest. The caveat is the one the FAQ gives itself: on a personal Gmail or Outlook.com account, sending limits start lower until the account has built trust, and larger volumes need a paid plan.
