Magnews is an Italian omnichannel marketing automation platform. Its home page introduces it as "Una piattaforma di marketing automation, ma non solo" (a marketing automation platform, but not only that) and sums up what it does as "Orchestra email, SMS e customer journey con l'intelligenza artificiale al tuo servizio": orchestrate email, SMS and customer journeys with artificial intelligence at your service. It sends marketing campaigns, automated journeys and transactional messages, and it is built around a customer data platform that holds every contact's data in one profile. The footer credits "Magnews powered by Diennea S.r.l.", registered in Ravenna, and the site lists offices in Faenza, Paris and Milan. The site is in Italian and English, and demos are offered separately for companies and for agencies.
The idea behind the platform
The home page frames the problem in one line: "La marketing automation è complessa, gestirla non dovrebbe esserlo" (marketing automation is complex; managing it shouldn't be). Data, channels, flows and people are the daily work of a marketing team, and Magnews was built, the page says, to make them work together without losing control. It makes three promises, each tied to a part of the platform.
Put data to work. "I dati non servono se restano sparsi": data is useless if it stays scattered. In Magnews you collect it in one place and turn it into actions: segments that update themselves, rules that react to behavior, and clear insight into "cosa sta funzionando e cosa no" (what is working and what is not). This is the job of the Customer Data Platform module.
Build coherent journeys. Flows are drawn in a visual editor that always shows where the customer is in the journey. Triggers, waits and conditions are presented as clear steps you can change when needed rather than complicated formulas. This is the Marketing Automation module.
Orchestrate channels in one system. "Email, SMS, WhatsApp e landing page non vivono più separati": email, SMS, WhatsApp and landing pages no longer live apart. They work on the same profile and follow the same logic, so each message makes sense within the journey rather than being an isolated action. This is the Multichannel Campaigns module.
A fourth line speaks to integration: the team says it has seen campaigns stall because the CRM, the e-commerce system and the automation tool did not talk to each other, and that Magnews joins them in a single flow.
What the platform covers
The platform menu lists the modules by name: Customer Data Platform, Campagne Multicanale (multichannel campaigns), Marketing Automation, Messaggi transazionali (transactional messages), Lead acquisition, and Analisi e Report (analysis and reporting).
The channels it sends on are listed separately: Email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Survey, Landing Page e Form, Pop-up e banner onsite (on-site pop-ups and banners), and Canali Custom (custom channels). For an email buyer, that means the same tool that sends the newsletter can also collect leads through forms and landing pages, show on-site pop-ups and banners, run surveys, and switch to SMS, RCS or WhatsApp where a journey calls for it.
Transactional messages are a module of their own, next to marketing campaigns. The company's blog carries a complete guide to transactional SMS and email ("SMS e Email Transazionali: la guida completa", dated May 27, 2026), aimed at companies that want to manage multichannel transactional messages better and improve the customer experience.
The menu's support section adds four more pages: "Magnews Q, la nostra AI" (Magnews Q, our AI), "Sicurezza e Conformità" (security and compliance), "Integrazioni e API" (integrations and API), and "Email Success".
Integrations
The home page says Magnews "si integra con gli strumenti che usi già" (integrates with the tools you already use) and names the categories: CRM, e-commerce, advertising platforms, analytics and other systems. Magnews connects to your ecosystem so that data, actions and measurement work better together. An Integrations and API page and a partner program with strategic partners back this up; one case study mentions a collaboration with Palabra.
What customers say
The home page quotes seven customers, each with a linked case study, and together they show the range of businesses using it.
- Elah Dufour Novi, whose Digital Communication Manager says the platform's flexibility let the team refine a journey while it was running.
- Agrieuro, whose Digital Project Manager calls Magnews a reliable marketing automation platform for its email strategy and mentions sending personalized messages through targeted Web Display.
- Coop Consorzio Nord Ovest, whose head of CRM, loyalty and digital marketing values being able to work independently on a rich, integrated system to communicate relevantly with members and customers.
- Costa Edutainment, whose Digital Manager says the platform brings data from different touchpoints into a single marketing technology.
- CAREL, where Carel Industries' content and media coordinator says the work with Palabra and Magnews improved the integration and qualification of contacts and made lead generation more effective, thanks to a new data structure and content personalized to user profiles.
- Città Del Sole, whose marketing and digital manager says Magnews integrated data from the website and point-of-sale systems, so customers now receive relevant, personalized content.
- Fondazione Telethon, whose direct marketing lead says marketing automation flows improve the experience of leads and donors at every stage of the journey.
That list spans retail, consumer brands, industrial B2B, leisure and a charity, which matches the four sectors the Solutions menu names: B2B, Retail and E-commerce, Non-profit organizations, and Enterprise.
Plans, support and company
The site publishes no price list on these pages. It has a "Pacchetti" (packages) page in the menu, and the main call to action is "Richiedi una demo" (request a demo), with separate paths for companies and agencies.
Support resources in the menu include a Help Center, documentation and training, and a platform status page. The resources section adds case studies, a blog, guides, and the "Magnews Dossier", a data and benchmark report. Agencies have their own partner login.
The footer says "Magnews ha ottenuto il riconoscimento di massima affidabilità commerciale", that Magnews has been recognized for the highest level of commercial reliability, and a "Performance certificate" section says its awards reward how the team works with customers, how easy collaboration is and how the platform performs. The footer links an anti-spam policy, special service conditions and an AGCOM resolution (Delibera AGCOM).
Who it suits
Magnews fits a mid-sized or larger organization, often Italian or working in Italian, that wants email to be one channel in a coordinated system with SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, landing pages and on-site messages, all fed by a single customer profile. Retailers joining web and in-store data, B2B companies qualifying leads, and nonprofits managing donor journeys all appear among its customers. Agencies have a partner program and their own demo path.
A solo sender or a small shop wanting a quick newsletter tool with a posted monthly price is not the audience here: the platform is sold through demos and packages and is built for teams running journeys across several channels.
