LiteStartup
Tap a star to rate
LiteStartup calls itself "The AI-Native Platform for Startups", and email sits at the center of what it sells. One account covers business email on your own domain (Workmail), email marketing with campaigns, automation and analytics, an API for transactional email sent by your application, automatic warm-up to build sender reputation, and domain registration. Around that email core it adds the rest of an early startup's public presence: a website, a blog, product docs, a changelog, a live chat widget and a help desk. The home page puts the promise in one line: "Register domain, send first email, launch website, blog, docs & changelog", all in minutes. The footer adds "Built for startups, by a startup."
How the platform is laid out
The product menu groups the offer into four parts. Under Email are Workmail ("Business email with your own domain"), Email Marketing ("Campaigns, automation & analytics"), Transactional Email ("API-driven emails for your app"), Warm-up ("Build sender reputation automatically") and Domain Registration ("Register & send in minutes. Zero config"). Under Applications are an open-source SaaS admin dashboard, the website builder and host, the blog, docs hosting, the changelog, live chat and a help desk with ticket management and a support portal. Under Growth sit SEO Automation (automated SEO audits and optimization) and Marketing Automation ("Workflows, triggers & sequences"). Under AI Tools are the AI Content Assistant, Litestartup Skill and the AI Gateway.
For an email buyer the first two groups matter most, and the useful thing is how they connect. The same domain serves the team inbox, the marketing sender and the transactional sender, so a startup is not wiring one provider for its inbox, another for newsletters and a third for password resets.
Getting started in three steps
The home page describes onboarding as three steps. First, register a domain; DNS, email routing and SSL are handled automatically, or you connect a domain you already own. Second, send your first email: the page lists the Workmail inbox, marketing campaigns and the transactional API as "one platform, zero config." Third, launch your presence: the website, blog, docs and changelog publish from Markdown, and live chat and a help desk come included.
That order says a lot about who the product is for. The domain comes first because everything else, inbox, sending reputation and website, hangs off it. Automatic DNS and email routing remove the part of email setup that most often stalls a small team: getting the records right so mail from a new domain is accepted.
Campaigns, automation and transactional mail
Email Marketing covers campaigns, automation and analytics. Marketing Automation adds workflows, triggers and sequences, the tools behind welcome series, onboarding drips and nurture flows that fire on a subscriber's action. The Warm-up product builds sender reputation automatically, which matters most on a fresh domain where the first large sends are the riskiest.
The transactional side is API-driven mail for your app: sign-up confirmations, resets, receipts and other messages your code triggers. The Solutions menu frames it for SaaS teams as "Transactional + marketing in one platform", and for developers as "Simple REST API. No SDK lock-in." The resources menu links an API reference with REST endpoints and examples. For e-commerce, the page's short line is "Order confirmations, promotions, and more", which covers both kinds of mail a shop sends. For agencies it is "Manage multiple client accounts with teams."
The AI tools
Three AI products sit in the menu. The AI Content Assistant generates email copy and subject lines. Litestartup Skill publishes a website, blog, docs and changelog with AI; the home page shows it as a coding agent skill, "@skills/litestartup-publish", under the heading "From one prompt to live updates" and the line "One prompt. Your site, blog, docs, changelog and email campaign", all live in seconds. The AI Gateway is described as "One API key for all AI modalities", and both plans include a monthly allowance of AI Gateway credits.
The company blog's guide to startup email platforms, written by the company, describes LiteStartup as a "comprehensive startup email platform designed specifically for early-stage companies and solo founders" and lists its key features as AI-driven email prioritization, automated marketing workflows and drip campaigns, built-in SEO content generation tools, productivity features, and pricing aimed at startup budgets. It describes the ideal user as "Solo founders and small teams looking for an all-in-one platform that grows with their business."
Plans and prices
The pricing section is headed "Simple, transparent pricing" with the line "Start free, scale when you're ready", and offers a monthly and a yearly toggle.
The Free plan is $0 a month and includes:
- 5,000 sent emails a month,
- 5,000 received emails a month,
- 3,000 contacts,
- 1 domain and 20 domain emails,
- 50 AI Gateway credits a month.
The home page adds three promises around it: no credit card required, launch in minutes, and a free forever plan. This is a standing free plan, not a trial.
The Pro plan, marked popular, is shown at $20 a month, with the note "Save $40 compared to monthly" for yearly billing. It includes:
- 50,000 sent emails a month,
- unlimited received emails,
- unlimited contacts,
- 10 domains and 200 domain emails,
- 500 AI Gateway credits a month.
Under both plans the page lists what all plans include: AI Gateway, Workmail, Email Marketing, Transactional Email, Website, Blog, Live Chat, Docs and Changelog. The two tiers differ in volume, contacts, domains and credits rather than in which of those products you can use.
Support and resources
The resources menu lists a blog, documentation with guides and tutorials, the API reference, a changelog of product updates, a status page showing real-time system uptime, and a contact page to reach the team. The footer also links a whitepaper and an About page with the company's mission and story, plus privacy and terms pages.
Who it suits
LiteStartup fits a founder or a small startup team that has not yet set up its email and wants the domain, the inbox, the newsletter, the product's transactional mail and the website in one place. The free plan is sized for a real early start: 3,000 contacts and 5,000 sends a month cover a launch list and an app's early transactional volume, and the domain inbox is included. Developers get a REST API without being tied to an SDK, SaaS teams get transactional and marketing mail on the same domain and account, and agencies get multi-client accounts with teams.
The product is built for startups, and its whole design shows it. A larger sender with an established stack and a dedicated inbox provider will use only part of the package, and the plans as published top out at Pro with 50,000 sends a month, so a high-volume sender would need to talk to the team about anything beyond that.
