Inet Hosting (아이네트호스팅, Inet Hosting Inc.) is a Seoul hosting company whose bulk email service, 대량메일발송 (bulk mail sending), lets businesses send newsletters and campaign mail to large address lists and pay per delivered message. The service page opens with its main promise: "수십만 통의 대량 메일도 1회에 전송이 가능하며 보다 빠르고 안정적으로 전송할 수 있습니다" (even hundreds of thousands of emails can be sent in one go, faster and more reliably). The price is stated just as plainly: 1 won per email, "발송 성공한 메일만 요금 청구" (only successfully sent mail is billed). The product is marked 사업자 전용, for registered businesses only. Email sits in the company's messaging line next to SMS hosting and KakaoTalk business messages, inside a much wider hosting catalog.
The Thunder Mail solution
The email service runs on a named piece of software. The service page says: "본 대량메일발송 솔루션인 썬더메일은 한국정보통신협회에서 GS(Good Software)인증 및 행정업무용 소프트웨어로 선정된 제품입니다" (this bulk mail solution, Thunder Mail, is a product that received GS (Good Software) certification and was selected as software for administrative work by the Korea Information and Communication Association). For a buyer in the public sector or a larger company with procurement rules, that certification is the most concrete quality signal on the page.
The interface is modeled on webmail. The site says it is provided in a form similar to webmail so that it is intuitive to use, and that address book management is simple enough that you enter recipients, save and send bulk mail much as you would an ordinary email. It is built to web standards with multi-browser support for Edge, Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Safari, plus mobile support on Android and iOS, and it comes with detailed help documentation.
From audience to report
The service page lays out the campaign cycle in five stages:
- Targeting (대상자 Targeting). Recipients come in by file upload, by direct entry in the interface, or through database integration by query ("쿼리를 통한 DB 연동"). That last option matters for companies whose customer data already lives in their own database: the audience can be pulled from it rather than exported by hand.
- Writing and sending (메일 작성 및 발송). Mail is composed in a webmail-like editor, with the various settings arranged in tabs. The page also mentions a range of templates suited to different concepts and to customer management.
- Reports (발송 결과 Report 확인). After a send you get a range of statistics and a detailed analysis of failure causes, so you can see why particular addresses did not receive the mail.
- Re-targeting by response (반응 결과에 따른 대상자 재 Targeting). The service offers monthly re-targeting of recipients and a search of each person's send history, which lets you follow up with people based on how they responded to earlier mailings.
- Ongoing campaign management (지속적인 캠페인 관리). Unsubscribers are managed separately, and so are permanently failing addresses, which keeps them out of later sends.
The site adds that the service maintains optimal performance and a high send success rate, without giving a figure for email.
Pricing
Email is billed at 1 won per message ("1 원/통"), and only mail that was sent successfully is charged. The page lists no packages, monthly fee or minimum for email, and no contact limit.
For comparison within the same company, the SMS hosting page publishes a full prepaid table, from 200 messages at 22 won each down to 100,000 messages at 14 won each (VAT excluded), with LMS long messages deducting 2.5 units and MMS picture messages 9 units per send. That page currently notes "현재 신규 가입이 불가합니다" (new sign-ups are not possible at the moment), so SMS hosting is not open to new customers even though email is. For existing SMS customers, the page describes both a web method, where messages are written and sent on Inet Hosting's site, and an API method, where an SMS module installed on the customer's server connects to its own web program; one SMS account can serve several websites, and the company claims an SMS success rate of 95% or more. KakaoTalk business messages are sold in points at 1 won per point: 9 points for an AlimTalk notification, 14 for SMS, 35 for LMS and 130 for MMS, VAT excluded, with fallback to SMS or LMS when a KakaoTalk message fails.
Who can sign up
Across its messaging products, the company restricts service to businesses. The SMS and KakaoTalk pages spell out the rule: 기업 전용 상품으로 사업자등록증, 대표번호가 있는 경우에만 이용 가능합니다 (a business-only product, available only with a business registration certificate and a representative phone number), and they note that only landline numbers can be used as sender numbers and that carriers other than SK, KT and LG cannot be registered. The email page carries the same 사업자 전용 (business only) mark.
The company behind it
Inet Hosting is a general hosting and infrastructure provider. Its menu covers cloud (NAVER Cloud Platform and AWS), server hosting, colocation and GPU servers, IDC migration, backup, high availability, load balancing, CDN and data recovery, a security line with antivirus, SSL certificates, firewalls, web firewalls, security monitoring, web shell detection, database encryption and SSL-VPN, plus web, database and image hosting, Microsoft 365, NAVER WORKS and domain registration. The home page announces a completed move to the Gangnam KT IDC on Teheran-ro and promises a dedicated 1:1 engineer and 24/7, 365-day monitoring. Its security monitoring service lists anti-spam and mail security among its add-on services, and an events list includes a 20th anniversary customer thank-you event and the launch of the KakaoTalk business message service.
The registered office is at Nambusunhwan-ro 333-gil 9, 6th floor, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Support
All messaging pages share one support block. The main number is 1566-6757, with extension 1 for the technical operations team, extension 2 for sales and extension 3 for management support. The technical operations team runs 24 hours a day, while sales and management support work weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 and are closed on weekends and public holidays. The home page also offers remote support sessions. The site is in Korean.
Who it suits
Inet Hosting's bulk email fits a registered Korean business that sends large mailings, wants to pay only for mail that actually went out, and prefers a familiar webmail-style editor over a design-heavy campaign tool. Companies that already keep customer records in their own database gain the most from the query-based targeting, and those with public-sector buyers may value the GS certification of Thunder Mail. Existing Inet Hosting customers can keep email with the same provider as their servers, domains and security services. Freelancers and unregistered individuals are outside the target group, since the messaging products are for businesses only.
