FMG Suite

Tap a star to rate

FMG Suite is a marketing platform for financial advisors, wealth management firms and insurance enterprises, and email is one of several channels it runs for them. Its product menu describes the email tool as "Beautiful templates and timely content enhance communications," and places it inside a marketing tools bundle that the company calls "Your all-in-one marketing platform for managing emails, social media, events and cards." The business is FMG Suite, LLC, and it sells to advisors who want their client communication handled with little effort on their side.

The company's own guide to email marketing for financial advisors sets out the problem the platform is built around: "Poor communication is the number one reason clients leave their financial advisors." FMG's answer, in the same passage, is to offer "tools, templates, and content to make connecting with prospective clients and nurturing existing ones easier than ever."

What the platform covers

FMG organizes its products around three jobs.

Market My Business is the marketing bundle. It includes email with templates and ready-made content, social media ("Scroll-stopping social posts that get you noticed"), events ("Omni-channel event promotion made easy"), and greeting cards ("Handwriting notes and cards has never been easier"). For advisors who do not want to run any of it themselves, a Do It For Me service offers to "develop and execute your monthly marketing plan."

Modernize My Website covers the advisor's site: a visual editor to "Edit website content in real-time," Blog Studio to promote blog posts across channels, lead generation through "Engaging landing pages and lead magnets," an integrated suite of SEO tools, and a copywriting service in which FMG's team writes "tailored content that reflects your voice." A separate product manages client testimonials.

Text Compliantly is MyRepChat, "A streamlined, compliant texting solution designed for financial advisors." It schedules messages and appointments "to fire off at the perfect time," sets up auto-responses to common questions, stores message templates "for quick, on-brand communication," and offers integrations to "Link MyRepChat with your go-to tools."

Across all three, the menu lists shared platform features: content, AI tools, marketing automation, One-Click Compliance, a mobile app, Accessibility Lock and integrations. Existing customers are invited to download the FMG app.

Email in practice

The email guide, published on FMG's Insights blog in April 2023, describes how FMG expects an advisor to use the email side. It frames the goal of every message as building trust and prompting an action, from encouraging a referral to a website visit, so that the advisor stays top of mind between meetings. Automation is the base layer: "Whether your contact list has 50 or 500 people, email automation allows you to maintain consistent outreach with minimal effort," with newsletters, reminders and event invitations going out without individual follow-ups. The FAQ in the same guide confirms that FMG sends automated emails for its customers and still recommends sending custom emails on top: "While FMG automation maintains a steady presence, custom emails show your unique voice and help deepen client relationships."

Segmentation is the next step. The guide tells advisors to split their list "into categories such as current clients, prospects, age groups, or financial interests," so that each group gets relevant messages and fewer people unsubscribe. It illustrates the point with a newsletter that tells young families about a community event their children might enjoy, while older clients hear about a new wine bar in town.

For content, the guide suggests a monthly newsletter as a starting point, filled with financial insights, market updates, community events and personal interests that reflect the firm's values. Examples it gives are financial tips tailored to different age groups, local event highlights for families or retirees, and links to schedule meetings or download resources. The promotional part of the newsletter carries a link to book a consultation, download an ebook or fill out a referral form on the advisor's site.

Subject lines get their own section: strong ones are "clear, concise, and relevant," and the guide recommends testing different formats. The FAQ adds two practical rules. Video should be inserted as a screenshot linking to the advisor's website or YouTube, since direct playback "isn't widely supported in email platforms." Files should not be attached, because attachments "often trigger spam filters"; documents belong on the website with a link in the email.

Benchmarks the company quotes

Asked what results to aim for, the guide answers: "Industry benchmarks for financial advisors include a 14.65% open rate, 6.53% click-through rate, and a 0.02% unsubscribe rate." It adds that "Your performance may vary, but optimizing subject lines and list segmentation can make a big difference." These are presented as industry benchmarks for the advisor profession, not as results measured on FMG's own platform.

Who FMG serves

The "Who We Serve" menu splits the market in two. On the advice side it lists financial professionals and RIAs, wealth management enterprises, independent broker-dealers, large RIAs, banks and credit unions, and wirehouses. On the insurance side it lists life and annuity firms, P&C insurance, and IMOs/FMOs. An Enterprise section in the footer points to offerings for the larger firms among them.

Buying and support

The menu links to a pricing page, and the main call to action is a "20-Min Consult" with the company. Support is by phone, Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm PST, with a contact form, a support section, a resource library, eBooks, webinars, the Insights blog, a website gallery and a strategic partners page. The footer also links to a Security page and to One-Click Compliance, and a privacy notice refers visitors to a California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) opt-out link.

Who it suits

FMG Suite fits an independent advisor, a small RIA or an insurance agent who wants email to be one part of a done-for-you marketing routine: templated newsletters with ready content, automated touches, social posts, event promotion, greeting cards, a website and compliant texting from the same vendor, with the option to hand the monthly plan to FMG entirely. Larger broker-dealers, banks, wirehouses and IMOs/FMOs are named as audiences too.

It is not a general email tool. Every product, template and piece of content on offer is written for financial and insurance professionals and their clients, so a shop, a publisher or a SaaS team would be buying a platform built for someone else.
