What eNudge is
eNudge is an email, SMS and survey marketing platform run by eNudge Pty Ltd, "Built in Melbourne, hosted in Australia." Its homepage sums it up as "Email, SMS & surveys, beautifully simple": you send personalized email and SMS, "automate the follow-up, and never pay per subscriber." The company's pitch leans on locality. It says it is "Certified Australian Made & Owned since 2003," that "Every contact, every send, every click stays on Australian servers," and the email page adds that data is stored in Australia "on servers we run." The copyright line runs from 2006 to 2026.
The platform bundles four products in one dashboard: email marketing, bulk SMS, surveys and automation. As the homepage puts it, you can "Send a one-off newsletter, run a multi-step onboarding flow, collect feedback, or text 8,000 people about an event change. Same dashboard, same contacts, same support team." The email page says the same dashboard handles lists "of 500 or 5 million."
What a sender gets
The editor. Campaigns are built in a drag-and-drop editor "from blocks," covering typography, imagery and layouts, starting from 180+ free responsive templates or from scratch. Brand kits "apply consistently across every send." You can save a finished campaign as a reusable template so "your whole team can launch on-brand sends in a click," save individual rows such as a header, product showcase or sign-off to a library, and duplicate past campaigns to go "From blank canvas to scheduled send in minutes." Template starting points include newsletters, weekly digests, promos, an end-of-financial-year sale, event invites, save-the-dates, travel, transactional messages and donation appeals.
Personalization and scheduling. Personalization is unlimited: you can "Insert any field from any contact," such as first name, last login, last order or custom merge tags, plus campaign-specific fields you define per send, with tokens you can preview live. Programmatic, server-side personalization is available on the Enterprise plan. The builder offers live preview "across inbox, mobile, dark mode and plain text," scheduling by recipient time zone, and send-time intelligence "that delivers when each contact is most likely to read it." Emails can carry attachments, and Pro adds an Add to Calendar feature.
Accessibility. An email WCAG checker lets you "Check every campaign against WCAG accessibility guidelines before you send," which matters for councils, universities and other public bodies with accessibility obligations.
SMS. Bulk SMS is personalized, "with free 2-way replies that land both in the campaign data and your inbox," and a built-in unsubscribe. The sample messages on the homepage show how that works in practice: each text ends with "Reply REM to stop," and replies are recorded against the campaign that prompted them. A recent article on the site explains the new SMS Sender ID registration for Australian mobile networks and how eNudge helps senders comply.
Surveys and automation. Surveys "Collect feedback from customers, students, leads or employees" and tie each response to the contact who gave it. Automation runs through two tools, Message Series and Action Responder, which "weave email and SMS together" for onboarding flows, event reminders, drip campaigns and set-and-forget sequences. Branded transactional sends such as receipts, confirmations and alerts are available on Enterprise.
Integrations. The "Plays well with" section lists Gmail, Outlook, Xero, Office 365, WordPress, Mailchimp imports, HTML imports, Zapier and CSV upload, and the homepage also mentions importing from Pipedrive. Custom integrations are offered on request.
Plans and prices
All prices are "AUD, ex GST," and the model is "Pay for sends" and never for subscribers, with unlimited contacts on every plan.
- eNudge Starter, "from $0 pay only for what you send." It includes up to 500 emails per month for free, the drag-and-drop editor with 180+ templates, unlimited contacts and surveys, AI email subject generation, Australian Privacy Act compliance, and chat and email support. A slider on the pricing section estimates the monthly Starter cost from your email and SMS volumes.
- eNudge Pro, "$450 flat / month": everything in Starter plus Add to Calendar, up to 250,000 emails per month, a separate Government platform for agencies, a flat monthly fee with "no surprise overages," and phone, chat and email support.
- Unlimited enterprise, "from $1,075 / month": unlimited emails (volume depends on server configuration, with a minimum of 2Mn emails a month), programmatic content, custom integration, onboarding assistance, branded template development, a dedicated IP and URL, and a dedicated account manager.
Signup is "Free to start, no credit card, no contract," and higher-volume senders can request a tailored quote for email, SMS or both.
Deliverability, security and compliance
The email page says its "deliverability team monitors sender reputation and DMARC alignment across every major Australian and international provider." DMARC, DKIM and SPF can be "set up in minutes from your domain settings," bounces and unsubscribes are handled automatically, and Enterprise customers get a dedicated IP and URL plus active handling of reputation issues across major ISPs. The homepage shows a "10/10 Delivery score, every send."
On compliance, the site describes the platform as "ISO27001 & SOC2 aligned, Privacy Act compliant out of the box," with Australian Spam Act compliance built in, and says its data center is IRAP assessed and ISO27001 certified. A public status page reports sending health.
Support
Support comes from "Real humans in Melbourne, on chat, email and phone for Enterprise." The support menu includes a help center, an Agencies page, a "Hire a designer" service and a status page. Customer quotes back this up: a Victorian local council praised service "the whole way through," from the first inquiry to design, troubleshooting and post-campaign analysis, and the Archdiocese of Brisbane described a complex mail merge handled "with precision." A reviewer from Rener Health Clinics wrote that when she needed editing and formatting advice she "couldn't believe I was talking to a real person, and so quickly." The signup banner promises you can "Start sending in under five minutes" and talk to the Australian team whenever you need a hand.
Who it suits
eNudge suits Australian organizations that want their contact data kept onshore and a local team to call: councils and government bodies (with a separate Government platform on Pro), schools and dioceses, health clinics, nonprofits running appeals, and businesses that mix email, SMS and surveys. Per-message pricing and unlimited contacts suit large lists that are mailed occasionally, while the flat Pro plan suits steady senders who want a predictable bill. Enterprise senders get dedicated infrastructure, custom integrations and an account manager.
