Efidem is a French publisher of communication software whose email offer covers marketing campaigns and newsletters, transactional email through a REST API and an SMTP relay, and email verification, alongside SMS, RCS, mobile notifications, one-time passwords and postal mail. The home page says private and public organizations have trusted it with their communications since 2011, and that its technology is developed and hosted in France and designed with the GDPR in mind. Its campaign software for marketing teams is called Snapshoot, and a new all-in-one platform named Snappy is announced as available on October 1, 2026.
Efidem serves two kinds of users with the same technology. Marketing teams work in a web interface to prepare, send and analyze campaigns without code. Developers connect Efidem directly to a CRM, ERP or business application through the API, with one API key covering every channel. The home page lists social housing and healthcare among its client case studies: a social landlord combining SMS and email to inform tenants, and a healthcare company securing access to its customer area with email confirmation codes.
What a sender gets
Campaigns in Snapshoot. The email software page describes Snapshoot as email software suited to SMEs and large accounts, built to win prospects and keep customers with newsletters and welcome emails. The workflow is three steps: start with a contact list, choose an email template, and generate the bulk send. Contact lists are imported as CSV or XLSX files, contacts are segmented and tagged, emails are personalized, and attachments can be managed on a send. A drag-and-drop template editor produces responsive emails without coding, and the page reminds senders that more than 40% of B2B and B2C emails are opened on phones.
Snappy, the new platform. The home page presents Snappy as a complete marketing platform for email, SMS, RCS or postal mail, "sans fonctionnalité cachée" (with no hidden features). Everything is included from day one: a drag-and-drop or HTML editor with a template library, contacts, lists and tags, behavioral segmentation, message personalization, scheduled or throttled sending, automations and follow-ups, detailed statistics, bounce and STOP handling, A/B testing, sub-accounts per entity, and an API with webhooks. The editor works in blocks with subject line, preheader and a mobile preview. The team offers to adapt Snappy to the way a customer works, and the page says AI features to help write, target and optimize campaigns are coming soon.
Automation and targeting. Efidem's email software page describes segmentation by each recipient's profile, behavior or lifecycle stage, and automated scenarios such as welcome emails, follow-ups after a download, abandoned-cart reminders and birthday campaigns that keep contact going without tying up a team every day.
Reporting. Campaign reporting covers opens, clicks, reactivity rate, unsubscribes and delivery failures, with a precise status for each recipient, behavioral statistics that identify openers and clickers, hard and soft bounce management, and technical statistics by reading device and receiving domain. The home page adds a per-recipient status of delivered, opened, clicked, bounced or complaint, and real-time monitoring with events pushed to your systems.
Personalized attachments. A dedicated solution sends a bulk mailing in which each recipient receives their own attachment, and the transactional side covers invoices, statements and documents by email or by post.
Transactional email, SMTP and API. For developers, Efidem offers a documented REST API, an SMTP relay, status webhooks, API keys per use, and tracking of every send across email, SMS, RCS and OTP. The page promises transactional sending can start after integrating the API "en quelques minutes" (in a few minutes). Typical transactional uses listed are order confirmations, shipping notices, account alerts, appointment confirmations and reminders, and security codes.
Other channels. SMS and RCS campaigns cover marketing, alerts and reminders, with RCS adding images, carousels and action buttons inside the messaging app. Efidem also sells mobile notifications as an alternative to SMS, one-time passwords by email or SMS, voice messages, and a postal service that handles printing, enveloping, postage and sending from a PDF file or the API.
Deliverability. Domain authentication with DKIM and SPF is now mandatory on the email software, which the page says keeps senders from being treated as spammers. The home page says SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured and verified to protect sending reputation, and that the team helps diagnose and fix a block by an operator or mailbox provider. Efidem publishes a guide on configuring SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
Free tools. Efidem offers free tools on its site: an AI newsletter generator, a newsletter subject-line generator, and a personalized roadmap for setting up an SMTP relay.
Plans, support and data
The email software page invites you to start free with "2000 mails/mois". It says you can test the software as long as you want, sending 2,000 emails a month with every feature available. Paid offers are custom rather than published: the page promises tailored offers "sans engagement de volume ou de durée" (with no volume or duration commitment), so you pay for what you actually need. A free demo can be booked, and the contact menu also offers training requests and appointments.
Support comes from a team based in France, reachable by phone and by email, and the page says support requests are handled within 2 hours. The home page promises a named contact who knows your file.
On data, the page says the software is hosted in France, secured and compliant with the GDPR, and that customer data belongs to the customer and is neither sold nor passed to third parties.
Who it suits
Efidem fits French organizations, public and private, that want email marketing and transactional email from one supplier hosted in France, with phone support in French and a quick response time. Marketing teams get a no-code editor, segmentation, automation and A/B testing, while developers get a REST API and SMTP relay that share one key with SMS, RCS and OTP. Groups with several entities can use sub-accounts in Snappy. The free test account suits anyone who wants to try the editor and send small newsletters before talking to sales. Buyers who want a published price grid to compare plans will need to request a quote, since paid offers are built to order.
