Ecomail
Tap a star to rate
Ecomail is an email marketing platform that, in its own words, makes "posílání newsletterů a SMS, automatizovaný e‑mailing i práci se zákaznickými daty" easier: sending newsletters and SMS, automated email and working with customer data. Its slogan is "E-mailing, který zvládne každý. Postavený na datech. Podpořený AI" (email marketing anyone can handle, built on data, backed by AI). It runs Czech and Slovak sites, ecomail.cz and ecomail.sk, with language versions in Czech, Slovak, Polish and English, and the structured data on its pages gives a company address on Na Příkopě in Prague 1. The platform addresses three kinds of customer: people who simply want to create and send newsletters, online shops that want to grow, and teams that want more powerful, data-driven email.
Three starting points
The home page organizes the offer around those three needs. For newsletters, it promises that users can manage their first send "i když jste to nikdy nedělali" (even if you have never done it before), "rychle, levně a v češtině" (quickly, cheaply and in Czech). For online shops, the goal is to stay in touch with customers "od prvního kliknutí až do posledního nákupu" (from the first click to the last purchase), increasing sales and building a base of loyal customers. For data-driven email, Ecomail points to its customer data platform (CDP), which uses customer data from the shop to send personalized campaigns with AI recommendations that encourage repeat purchases.
EMA, the AI agent
The headline feature is EMA, which Ecomail calls "jediný e-mailový AI agent v češtině" (the only email AI agent in Czech) and, on the Slovak site, the only one in Slovak. The company says EMA prepares campaigns, automations and strategy for the user, saving time on campaign preparation, reports and planning. The home page shows the kind of request it handles: "Podívej se na poslední kampaně a navrhni, co a kdy poslat dalšího" (look at the latest campaigns and suggest what to send next and when). Ecomail also lists an MCP server among its features, a way to connect AI tools to the account.
Building and sending campaigns
Campaigns are built in the template editor, which the company says lets users create effective email templates "přesně podle vás" (exactly the way you want). According to the Ecomail blog, starting a newsletter takes a few steps: register, choose a template, adjust it and add your own content. A SPAM test checks the template layout before sending; the blog explains that it watches the ratio of images to text, which the company recommends keeping at 60:40 in favor of text so mail clients do not flag the message as spam.
Personalization prepares emails "ušité na míru každému zákazníkovi" (tailored to each customer). A/B testing lets senders try different versions and send the most successful one; the blog says the feature covers the subject line, the sender name and the template content. Beyond email, SMS campaigns run from the same platform.
Contacts, forms and segments
The contact side is grouped as "Chytřejší databáze" (a smarter database). Forms grow the contact database, contacts can be imported by hand or collected through forms on a website, and segmentation divides contacts into groups by their activities and properties. One customer quoted on the home page singles out segmentation by purchase, alongside A/B tests, as the features they value most.
Automation and ecommerce
Automations are set up "pomocí pár kliků" (with a few clicks). Ecomail's case studies focus on ecommerce: one describes how the brand Freshlabels earns 20% of its revenue from automations alone, and another describes a popular Czech brand whose approach brought 58% growth in email revenue and a 2× higher conversion rate than its other marketing channels. The blog also advertises a case study on how the KitchenAid online shop made more than 9 million through email marketing. A marketing director quoted on the home page says Ecomail serves all 31 of the company's markets, and that even junior staff can manage its extensive automations and segments.
Reports and deliverability
Detailed statistics track the long-term performance of email marketing, and campaign reports show open and click rates after each send. On deliverability, the company advertises "bezpečnost, rychlost a 99,97 % míra doručitelnosti" (security, speed and a 99.97% delivery rate).
Integrations and API
Ecomail connects to online shops, CRMs and other tools through plugins or the API, and the home page counts 42 integrations in total. Named ones include the ecommerce platforms Shoptet, Prestashop, Upgates and Shopify, and the automation tools Zapier and Integromat. Developers get API documentation plus PHP and Nette API wrappers.
GDPR and consent
The Ecomail blog reminds senders that email marketing must respect the GDPR: bulk emails may only go to contacts who have given documented consent to receive commercial messages, or to active customers on the basis of legitimate interest. It warns that ignoring this risks a fine of up to 10 million Kč.
Plans and trial
The home page invites visitors to "Vyzkoušet zdarma" (try it free) and to "Začít s Ecomailem zdarma" (start with Ecomail for free). The blog says Ecomail has a free plan, with a maximum of 200 contacts ("v plánu zdarma max. 200 kontaktů"). The site has a pricing page (Ceník) for paid plans.
Support and services
Customer support is free for all customers: online chat and phone support in Czech, and on the Slovak site in Slovak and Czech, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00. The company offers a 30-minute call with an expert to present the tool, individual training sessions, getting-started guides, e-books, case studies, a glossary, webinars and tutorial videos, and an Ecomail advice group on Facebook. Services include help moving to Ecomail from another tool, custom services, an agency partner program, certified partners, an Ecomail certification and an affiliate program.
Who it suits
Ecomail suits Czech and Slovak businesses that want email and SMS in their own language: first-time newsletter senders who can start on the free plan, and online shops on Shoptet, Prestashop, Upgates or Shopify that want automations, purchase-based segments and a CDP to drive repeat sales. The EMA agent helps small teams without a dedicated email specialist plan campaigns, and free phone and chat support keeps help close at hand. Brands selling in many markets, like the customer quoted with 31 markets, also use it.
