Dominios.pt is a Portuguese web services company, operating since 2001 in domain registration and web services, and its email marketing service lets customers send newsletters and campaigns "em minutos, sem necessidade de conhecimentos técnicos" (in minutes, with no technical knowledge needed). The company says the platform is used by thousands of customers, "desde pequenas lojas online até aos grandes retalhistas" (from small online shops to large retailers), and its pitch leans on ecommerce: automated campaigns to recover abandoned orders and follow-up offers based on past purchases. Email marketing sits in a catalog that also covers domains, hosting, WordPress, professional email, Microsoft 365, online store and website builders, and GDPR compliance tools. The company behind it is DMNS, Dominios S.A., based in Faro.
Building campaigns
Campaigns are built in a drag-and-drop builder, and the results use responsive design so they read on phones as well as desktops. The page promises ready-made email templates for different businesses: "com vários modelos profissionais de email, tudo o que necessita é alterar os textos e as imagens de acordo com o seu negócio" (with several professional templates, all you need to do is change the text and images for your business). For users who want more control, the page says there is full access to the source code to edit the HTML and CSS directly.
Personalization runs on contact data. Custom fields store whatever a sender wants to keep, and the page gives registration date, phone, age and products as examples; those fields can then be placed in a message, and content can be adapted to each segment. Dynamic content goes further: the page says users can insert content from their online store, pull in data from RSS feeds, or add content according to the target audience. A newsletter can therefore carry current products or the latest posts without being rebuilt by hand each time.
A public campaign archive keeps every campaign sent available online, so subscribers can always get back to earlier emails. The feature list also includes social networks among the platform's benefits.
Lists, forms and contact data
Contacts can be imported from a file or from another service, and the management tools let users list, remove and add contacts. Signup forms can be added to a website so visitors subscribe to the campaigns.
The service also offers contact data enrichment. The page says that "a partir de apenas um endereço de e-mail, podemos apresentar a idade, sexo, localização, interesses, perfis sociais e muito mais" (from just an email address, we can show age, gender, location, interests, social profiles and more). Anyone planning to use it should weigh it against their own GDPR obligations.
Segmentation works on campaign interactions, activity on the sender's website and other criteria. Geographic tracking shows where in the world recipients opened their emails, and lists can be segmented by time zone so that messages arrive at the intended local time.
Automation and ecommerce
The ecommerce section starts from a statistic the page quotes: "cerca de 70% dos clientes de ecommerce abandonam o processo de encomenda" (around 70% of ecommerce customers abandon the ordering process). The answer it offers is an automated campaign that sends those customers an incentive to finish the order, after connecting the platform to the online store. The page also describes automated actions for staying in permanent contact with customers, for example suggesting a new product based on the last order placed.
Integrations are described by category: ecommerce platforms, WordPress, CRMs, and billing and payment systems. The page does not name individual products.
SMS
Alongside email, the service sends text messages. The page describes SMS as follow-up messages to contacts, and SMS campaigns have their own interaction tracking.
Testing and reporting
A/B testing is built in. Users can create several tests and compare different subject lines and content to see which version gets more opens, clicks and conversions, and the page presents this as simple split tests that show which emails convert more orders.
Reporting covers campaign interactions, reactions and contact trends in real time. The monitoring section tracks opens, clicked links and customer activity as it happens, and the company says it provides reports with all the data on contacts' interactions and behavior. Combined with the geographic tracking, that gives a sender a view of what worked, where and when.
Plans and trial
The service can be tried free with up to 100 contacts, under the heading "Teste a ferramenta de Email Marketing até 100 contactos" (test the email marketing tool with up to 100 contacts).
Paid plans are billed according to the size of the contact database and, in the page's words, "incluem envios ilimitados" (include unlimited sends). The page's pricing note says the prices shown are monthly and valid for the annual billing period, and the site footer states that VAT at the legal rate is added to all prices. The plans page shows no euro figures for the email marketing tiers.
Company, infrastructure and support
The page says more than 80,000 customers trust their services to Dominios.pt and that the company has operated in the national market since 2001. Its home page goes further and calls Dominios.pt "o maior prestador em Portugal" (the largest provider in Portugal) of domain registration, website hosting, dedicated servers, Microsoft 365 and business email, in the company's own words. The same page advertises a national data center "com hardware de última geração" (with the latest hardware) and more than 20 years of experience; the footer links to a page on its data center and certifications.
Support comes from a specialized team, which the home page says allows faster responses and better service. The phone line, 210 081 081, is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 at the cost of a national landline call, and there is a support portal and a paid priority support service. The site, the service and support are in Portuguese.
For customers who also need legal groundwork, Dominios.pt sells GDPR solutions it says were created by a team of lawyers, a Google Consent Mode V2 tool and a cookie banner, and a whistleblowing management tool. These are separate products, but they sit next to email marketing for a business putting its online presence in one place.
Who it suits
The service fits Portuguese small businesses and online shops that want to send newsletters and automated ecommerce emails without technical skills, especially those already using Dominios.pt for their domain, hosting or store. Unlimited sends on list-size pricing suit frequent senders with a modest list, and the free test with up to 100 contacts lets a shop try the builder, SMS and automation before paying. Senders who want a long list of named integrations or developer documentation will find the email marketing page brief on both, and the whole offer is aimed at the Portuguese market.
