Delivra
Tap a star to rate
Delivra is an email and SMS marketing automation platform "For the data-rich small marketing team", as its homepage puts it, promising to make it simple to create sophisticated email and SMS messaging. It sends campaigns, newsletters and automated multi-channel journeys, and it pairs the software with a dedicated account manager for each customer. The company says it has been "Powering meaningful interactions since 1999", and the site footer states that Delivra is part of the Redbrick portfolio of companies. Its blog describes customers across nonprofit, education, publishing and membership sectors, with associations as a particular focus.
What a sender gets
The homepage groups the platform into three areas.
Email and SMS automation covers building and sending. Emails are made in a drag-and-drop editor or in HTML, starting from "Expert templates (for everything)". If you are not sure where to start, the site says Delivra's creative team will design a custom template for your business. A visual workflow builder maps out multi-channel campaigns that "span days, weeks, months – all laid out in a single view", and email and SMS steps sit in the same journey. The homepage also cites smart segmentation, A/B testing and "hundreds of other powerful automation tools."
Personalization is pitched as scaling targeted content without extra work. It includes code-free dynamic content, conditional web forms and advanced split testing. The association guide on Delivra's blog describes the dynamic content as conditional content blocks that show different information to different members within the same email, and it adds progressive profiling tools, which collect member data a little at a time through smart forms and targeted campaigns rather than one long signup form.
Actionable data reporting brings the data together. The platform offers two-way CRM data syncing, click heatmaps, lead scoring and unified customer profiles, where email and SMS data, preferences, history and campaign interactions sit in one view per contact. Engagement scoring and behavioral analytics feed segmentation, and lead scoring and triggered user journeys deliver messages at set moments. Custom reports and a unified view of engagement across active channels help spot what works, and the homepage says your customer success manager will help build a new send strategy if results call for it.
Segmentation in practice
Delivra's blog shows what its hyper-segmentation is meant to do. For associations it suggests segments by membership status, engagement score, chapter, role, event attendance or any custom data field, with no coding, and it reports that using these tools to send newsletters tailored to each member's profile and interests produced "A 20% increase in open rates" for the association in its example. The same guide lists the automated journeys it recommends for members: welcome and onboarding series, renewal reminders at 90, 30 and 7 days out and on the day, re-engagement sequences for members who have not opened in 90 or more days, event follow-ups and milestone emails, each triggered by any behavioral or profile-based event.
An older guide by Delivra's CEO, Barbara Berry, covers location-based email. It describes segmenting opted-in contacts by geography and last known location, using purchase history from a particular store to learn where and when people shop, and setting up automated processes that take note of social media check-ins and geofencing pings. For retailers it suggests timing an email to go out after a set number of days, or after a customer has been absent for a while, to prompt a return visit. Its campaign ideas lean on dynamic content: nearest-store details with phone number, address, directions and opening hours, a map with directions to the closest location, offers and top-selling products for a particular store, weather-based promotions and tie-ins with local sports teams.
Email plus SMS
SMS is built into the same journeys rather than sold as a separate tool. Delivra's association guide recommends it for time-sensitive messages such as event reminders, last-chance renewal notices and priority updates, while email stays the primary channel. Unified profiles hold both email and SMS engagement history, preferences and campaign interactions for each contact.
For measuring results, the same guide suggests tracking click-to-open rate, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate, list growth rate and engagement score by segment, the last of which draws directly on the platform's engagement scoring.
Integrations
The homepage names Salesforce, Shopify and Eventbrite as integrations and invites you to sync your CRM. The association guide adds Aptify, an association management system, and custom databases connected via API, all with two-way data syncing to keep member records current.
Support and onboarding
Support is the part of the offer Delivra stresses most. The homepage says "We've got a track record of unrivaled live response time" and offers "a dedicated account manager, marketing resource guides, and customized 1:1 onboarding." The association guide describes the account manager as "not a help article or chatbot" but real people who know your account and check in regularly to help refine your strategy. The site calls this "5-star Customer Success." Resources include a blog of email marketing guides and a newsletter for email marketers, The Inbox.
Plans, trial and ratings
Delivra offers a free 14-day trial ("Try Delivra free for 14 days"), and a product tour and a sales contact are available. The site has a pricing page, and the homepage FAQ answers how much it costs to start, but no plan prices appear on the homepage itself. Delivra shows ratings of 4.5 out of 5 on G2 and 4.5 out of 5 on Capterra. A customer quote on the homepage, from a VP of partnership activations and communications, says "With Delivra everything is very user friendly, it's very drag and drop, and it's simplified a lot of our processes."
Who it suits
Delivra fits small marketing teams that hold a lot of customer data and want to use it: associations and membership organizations running onboarding, renewal and re-engagement journeys, nonprofits, education and publishing organizations, and businesses with several locations that want location-aware campaigns. Teams on Salesforce, Shopify, Eventbrite or Aptify get two-way syncing, and teams that want a person to help with strategy get a dedicated account manager and custom template design.
It suits senders who only need a basic newsletter tool less well, since the platform's value lies in segmentation, scoring and multi-step journeys. Buyers who want to compare plan prices before a conversation should start with the pricing page or the 14-day trial.
