Creamailer
Tap a star to rate
Creamailer is a Finnish newsletter and communications service run by Creamailer Oy. It combines email newsletters, surveys and event communication in one AI-assisted tool, sold at a fixed monthly price with unlimited messages. The site pitches it to organizations of every size, from small associations and companies to large enterprises and the public sector, and says the company has more than 15 years of experience in Finnish customer communication. The interface, customer support and AI assistant all work in Finnish, and the site says its servers are Finnish-hosted ("Palvelimet sijaitsevat Suomessa").
What a sender gets
Newsletters are the core. Creamailer's message editor is described as easy to use, producing responsive and accessible emails without technical skills. You can start from ready-made message templates and adapt them to your organization's look, or copy an earlier message to save time. Brand profiles store your colors, fonts and logo, so new messages follow the organization's visual identity automatically, whoever builds them. Personalization is part of the newsletter feature set.
Sending can happen immediately or at a scheduled time, and RSS-based content can be scheduled to go out regularly, so new posts from a site or blog reach subscribers as a newsletter without manual work. Beyond scheduling, Creamailer has automations: message chains triggered by a subscriber's action or by a date, which the site illustrates with welcome messages and reminders.
A/B testing compares two versions of a subject line or content, and Creamailer then sends the winning version automatically to the rest of the recipients. Analytics run in real time and show opens, clicks and the most popular content at a glance, with the FAQ adding reports on recipient activity in a readable format.
To grow the list, subscription forms can be embedded on a website or shared on social media, and new subscribers move onto your mailing list automatically. Every message carries an automatic unsubscribe link.
The AI design assistant is built in. According to the site it helps generate text, headlines and images, supports brainstorming and phrasing, adapts content to different channels and audiences, optimizes tone and length, helps with translations, and suggests improvements such as ways to raise click-through rates.
Surveys and events in the same tool
Two modules set Creamailer apart from a plain newsletter tool. The survey tool collects feedback and measures customer satisfaction, with NPS surveys and custom surveys built from ready templates and results shown as clear reports. The events tool sends invitations, manages registrations and messages participants, with automatic reminders, a real-time participant list and QR codes that can be added to messages. The FAQ says surveys and event communication are included in the fixed monthly price in most packages, and that the exact features depend on the package you choose. On the pricing table, the smallest plan lists only newsletters.
Integrations and API
The homepage says Creamailer connects to more than 1,000 systems. The newsletter page says it works with CRM, ecommerce and event tools through ready-made integrations and an open API, and the site's footer links to API documentation and technical details. The FAQ names three integrations: Canva and Unsplash for visuals, and Zapier for automating workflows.
Deliverability, data protection and scale
The newsletter page states that the servers are hosted domestically, that security is built in, and that the service is "Luotettava ja GDPR-yhteensopiva" (reliable and GDPR-compatible). It also says Creamailer meets all data protection requirements for email communication and follows GDPR requirements in handling subscriptions. For deliverability, the site describes automatic list cleaning and high-quality servers, with delivery based on continuous monitoring, a technically managed sending process and proactive optimization.
The site publishes several figures about itself: a 98% rate for messages reaching recipients reliably and on time, customer satisfaction of 4.8 out of 5 (ease of use and reliability are the most praised qualities), more than 10 million messages sent per month, and more than 1,000 customer organizations. The FAQ adds that Creamailer Oy holds the highest possible AAA credit rating, which the company presents as a sign of stable finances and long-term development. Named customers include Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto, Pörssisäätiö and Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto.
Plans and prices
Creamailer charges a fixed monthly price by list size, with unlimited sends on every plan. The FAQ says the number of recipients (email addresses) and the number of users depend on the package, while the sending volume is unlimited. The homepage shows three packages:
- Lite, described as a light package for small-scale communication: 25 € per month, newsletters only, 0 to 750 email addresses, unlimited messages.
- Starter, marked as the most popular: 47 € per month, newsletters, surveys and events, 0 to 2,000 email addresses, unlimited messages.
- Growth, for growing volumes: 79 € per month, newsletters, surveys and events, 0 to 7,000 email addresses, unlimited messages.
Larger lists are covered on the full pricing page, which the homepage links to. There is no permanent free plan; instead a free trial gives you all of Creamailer's tools, including newsletters, surveys, event invitations and the AI assistant, for 30 days (the newsletter page calls it a month), with no commitment. You can also book a demo.
Support and onboarding
Support is domestic and in Finnish, and the homepage says it answers in five minutes on average. The FAQ says you can send your first newsletter in as little as 15 minutes, helped by templates, the AI assistant and step-by-step guides. The knowledge base includes guides, a blog, a newsletter archive and training sessions run by Creamailer.
Who it suits
Creamailer fits Finnish-speaking organizations that want one tool for newsletters, member surveys and event invitations, with a Finnish interface, Finnish support and Finnish-hosted servers. Associations and nonprofits are an obvious match: several of the named customers are Finnish nonprofits, and managing registrations and feedback in the same place as the newsletter saves buying separate tools. Public sector bodies get a dedicated pitch around reliability and data security. Companies benefit from the flat price with unlimited sends, which keeps the bill predictable however often you mail a list of a given size.
It suits teams working outside Finnish less well, since the site, the interface and the AI assistant are presented in Finnish (an English page exists, linked from the footer). Senders who need email only may find the Lite plan enough, but those who want surveys and events must start on Starter. Developers can use the open API, and teams that rely on other software can connect it through Zapier or the ready-made integrations.
