Công ty TNHH Tin Học Quảng Cáo Ánh Dương (Ánh Dương, with the footer crediting Anh Duong Ltd. and Sunshine Co., Ltd) is a Vietnamese web company whose menu covers website design, domain names, web hosting, dedicated server rental and colocation, VPS, Facebook services, print design and email marketing. Its email marketing service sends bulk email to your prospects and customers, and the pricing page describes it as a way to "gửi hàng loạt email đến khách hàng tiềm năng của bạn với chi phí thấp nhất" (send email in bulk to your potential customers at the lowest cost). The page names three kinds of campaign it is meant for: finding new customers, looking after existing ones, and staying in touch with prospects. Everything is priced in Vietnamese dong, and the site is written in Vietnamese.

How the sending system works

The pricing page says its email marketing system is set up with authentication for each sending domain and runs on hundreds of mail servers, with the aim of landing a high share of messages in the inbox. The email marketing menu also covers an explanation of the technology, a feature list, and a separate price list for an email verification service, Bảng Giá Dịch Vụ Verify Email.

The statistics system reports four figures for each campaign:

• the number of emails sent
• the number of emails opened, which the page equates with the number of people who read the email

The registration term is 12 months for Plans 1 to 3, 6 months for Plans 4 to 7, and 3 months for Plans 8 to 10.

Email Marketing Express is for regular senders who also need speed, and the page promises large volumes at high speed for bigger businesses. Prices are per month:

Email Marketing Save is for customers who do not send often. Instead of a monthly fee you buy a block of sends, which the page says avoids the wasted spend of a Daily, Express or "Unlimit" package when you mail only now and then. Each package can be used for 1 year. Prices are per package:

Speed limits for Yahoo addresses

The notes under the tables carry one important exception. The speed commitments do not apply to addresses at @yahoo.com, @ymail.com and @rocketmail.com because of restrictions set by Yahoo Inc., and for those addresses the company commits to only 20% of the stated speed. Customers with special requirements, such as a large number of @yahoo.com addresses or a need for speeds of 10,000 to 100,000 emails an hour, are asked to contact the company directly for advice.

Who it suits

Ánh Dương's service suits a Vietnamese business that wants to hand bulk sending to a local provider and pay in dong. The three families map neatly onto sending habits. A shop or service company mailing its customer list every month can pick a Daily plan sized to its monthly volume; a larger sender with time-sensitive campaigns gets far higher hourly speeds on Express; and an organization that mails only a few times a year can buy a Save block and use it over 12 months. Because every table lists address storage as unlimited, the plans are priced on sends and speed rather than on list size. Two points deserve attention before signing: the Daily plans carry registration terms of up to 12 months, and a list heavy with Yahoo addresses will send at a fifth of the advertised speed to those recipients.
