What Mapp is
Mapp sells Mapp Marketing Cloud, a platform that combines a customer data platform, AI-driven personalization, marketing automation and digital analytics, and sends through email, SMS, push notifications, apps and the website. The homepage sums it up as "Collect and analyze your customer data with AI to personalize your marketing messages across your website, email, SMS, push notifications, and apps, based on customer behavior."
The site runs in English, German, Italian and Spanish. The English site's footer names Mapp Digital UK Ltd, and the Italian site is run by Mapp Digital Italy S.r.l. in Milan. The homepage says Mapp is "Trusted by over 300 leading global businesses" and "Trusted by 3,500+ brands," and elsewhere that it "helps more than 3,000 businesses" across retail and eCommerce, finance and publishing. Retail is the clearest focus: Mapp runs a separate fashion product line and publishes fashion retail research.
What a sender gets
Mapp's Italian email marketing page lays the email product out in four parts: creation, personalization, automation and deliverability. Its promise is to "Fidelizza i clienti, incrementa le vendite e la brand awareness ogni volta che mandi un'email" (retain customers and increase sales and brand awareness every time you send an email).
Creation. Emails are built in a drag and drop HTML email builder. The page says it cuts the time and resources spent creating messages: senders copy and drag elements, change content without the confusion of old-style editors, and need no programming skills. The feature list covers ready-made templates that are easy to brand, the option to add your own templates, responsive design, a mobile-first development option, AMP messages for email, and "Contenuti e blocchi dinamici" (dynamic content and blocks).
Personalization. Mapp says it sends "email iper-personalizzate grazie al motore di Intelligenza Artificiale" (hyper-personalized emails powered by its AI engine), fed with real-time data from its own customer data platform. Personalization can draw on demographic data, purchase history, interactions with messages and other relationship data. Segmentation comes in two forms: quick segmentation to generate audiences and advanced segmentation based on real-time interactions. The list also includes "Raccomandazioni di prodotto" (product recommendations).
Automation. The platform ships with "4 flussi di marketing automation pre-configurati: benvenuto, buon compleanno, carrello abbandonato e navigazione abbandonata" (4 pre-configured automation flows: welcome, happy birthday, abandoned cart and abandoned browsing). Senders can run A/B tests on subject lines and content, and use Best Time to Send, which picks the send time for each individual contact. On the English homepage, the marketing automation module promises "personalized, cross-channel experiences across email, SMS, app, and web that adapt to each customer’s behavior," with Customer Data Unification, Advanced Segmentation, Hyper-Personalization and Journey Automation as its parts.
Deliverability. Mapp calls itself expert in deliverability and says "In qualità di co-fondatori di Certified Senders Alliance prendiamo sul serio delivery, posizionamento e rendering" (as co-founders of the Certified Senders Alliance, we take delivery, placement and rendering seriously). The tools listed are inbox rendering on 70+ devices and email clients, checks for errors or compliance problems in messages, links and HTML code, and an inbox placement score with an email spam test. The page also says the platform runs on "un’infrastruttura nativa" (its own native infrastructure) and that it works with experts in spam testing, rendering and deliverability improvement. Its headline figure: "Oltre 2.500 clienti di Mapp inviano in media 5,3 miliardi di email ogni settimana in tutto il mondo, con una deliverability media del 98%" (more than 2,500 Mapp customers send on average 5.3 billion emails a week worldwide, with average deliverability of 98%).
Analytics and AI. Digital Analytics is pitched as a way to "map customer journeys, detect conversion drivers, and generate actionable insights" across touchpoints. A Mapp AI Assistant sits in the AI-powered analytics menu.
Mobile and web. Beside the email page, Mapp's channel menu has separate Mobile Marketing and Web Marketing pages, covering the push, app and website personalization side that the homepage describes as part of the same customer journeys.
Integrations. The homepage says "Data is more readily absorbed and unified with our flexible APIs" and links to an integrations page. Mapp runs a partner program with business, certified and technology partners, and the footer lists membership of the MACH Alliance.
Mapp Fashion
Mapp Fashion is a retail product line described as "AI-driven personalization and inventory insights to improve eCommerce efficiency." Its menu lists PPC and Google Adwords, personalized outfits, product recommendations, answer engine optimization, search and merchandising, and themed emails. Mapp publishes a Fashion Retail Discovery Intelligence Report 2026 covering 397 retailers in 7 markets with 84 matched financials from January 2024 to February 2026, a Fashion Retail Operating Index 2025 that it says analyzes $1.285tr in revenue across luxury, sportswear, mass market, value, department stores and resale, and replays from its Fashion Decoded events. One fashion customer on the homepage says the partnership delivers "personalized recommendations and outfits."
Results, services and support
The homepage lists "The benefits of working with Mapp" as +69% orders from personalized emails, +40% average purchase value, +20% revenue growth and -10% return rate. PizzaExpress describes using Mapp for its loyalty app, PizzaExpress Club, with "a significant increase in app downloads and loyalty members." Another customer says integrating data and automating journeys "significantly boosted our engagement rates and improved our email marketing performance."
Services include Deliverability Services, Strategic Data Consulting, Client Technical Services and Professional Services. Learning comes through Mapp Learning, with resources, webinars and product updates. The footer links support, a Mapp Trust Center, an Acceptable Use Policy and contract terms. The Italian footer lists a ministry authorization under D.Lgs. 259/2003 and registration in Italy's communications operators register (R.O.C.). The Italian menu has a pricing entry ("Prezzi"), but the homepage and email page carry no figures; prospects request a demo or book a meeting.
Who it suits and who it does not
Mapp suits a mid-size or large B2C brand with customer data to work with, especially a fashion or eCommerce retailer that wants email, SMS, push and web personalization driven from one data platform, product recommendations in its emails, and Mapp's Deliverability Services on top of the platform's rendering and inbox placement tools. Finance and publishing companies are named as customers too.
It is a poor fit for a solo newsletter writer or a very small shop. The product assumes a customer data platform, several channels and a demo-led sale, and the site offers no self-serve plan.
