SUBMAIL (赛邮) is a one-stop cloud communications platform for businesses, and its email service is one of the products it sells next to SMS, voice, MMS and identity checks. The company behind it is 上海赛邮云计算有限公司, a Shanghai cloud computing company, and it describes its model as PaaS: communication and marketing capabilities delivered from the cloud, automated and built for enterprises. The site says it has served more than 100,000 users worldwide (累计服务全球超过 10 万用户) and that its business covers 230+ countries and regions. A separate line on the homepage, in its own shorthand, says 20W+ companies trust it.

The email service

SUBMAIL presents its email product as a professional sending platform with high reliability and stability, easy to integrate and encrypted, for the timely delivery of all kinds of domestic and international email. Under the product name SUBMAIL 邮件服务 (NEWSLETTER / EDM) it covers two kinds of mail. Notification email handles registration and login messages, electronic bills and system alerts. Marketing email handles member subscriptions, new product launches and holiday greetings. Both run through the same account.

There are two ways to send. The online sending platform works in the browser: you create an APPID, add your contacts, and send in bulk, either immediately or on a schedule. The page lists pre-created templates, batch sending, instant sending and scheduled mass sending as its sending modes. For writing messages there are three editors, the SUBMAIL editor, an HTML editor and a plain text editor, so a team can design a campaign visually, paste in finished HTML, or send plain text.

The second way is the API. The page states that "简单即是强大" (simple is powerful) is the one rule the SUBMAIL API follows, and that a few lines of code are enough to create an API request. Code samples cover CURL, PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, C# and GO, and official SDKs are listed for PHP, JAVA, C#, PYTHON and GO. Developer documentation and a best practices section are linked from the site's quick links.

Domains, IPs and warm-up

Sending from your own domain is supported. The page says a custom sending domain gives a company a more professional image and makes it easier to track and manage sending. Both independent domains and second-level domains can be used, and setup runs through domain verification plus SPF and MX records, which the site describes as easy configuration.

SUBMAIL offers four IP modes, which the page lists as 独享 IP、共享 IP、独享 IP 池、共享 IP 池 (exclusive IP, shared IP, exclusive IP pool and shared IP pool), presented as a customized, personalized delivery service. Users on their own IP or on several IPs can switch on or off SAWU, the platform's automatic IP warm-up function, which handles the early warm-up stage for them. The email infrastructure runs on a cloud architecture that the site says scales without limit, meeting growing demand while improving availability and performance.

Speed, security and reporting

The email page lists five strengths. Millisecond-level response, backed by what it calls a high-efficiency concurrent response and massive data throughput engine. TLS encryption on all email sent through the SUBMAIL API, to prevent interception or modification in transit. Real-time data feedback, with precise tracking, visual analysis and SUBHOOK, which pushes event data to you actively. The four IP modes. And easy integration through the SDKs.

At platform level, the homepage says the distributed API servers reach 99% reliability, with every node in hot standby and an automatic switchover when one fails. Account owners can manage API request permissions and turn features such as an IP whitelist and analysis reports on or off online. Data analysis collects from multiple points and offers real-time queries and visual charts. On privacy, the site says privacy protection and data security are the foundation of a cloud communications platform, and its government solution promises high-intensity, multi-level data protection.

Pricing and trial

SUBMAIL publishes its email prices as volume packages, priced per email:

  • 100,000 emails at ¥0.0076 each, ¥760 in total
  • 500,000 emails at ¥0.0066 each, ¥3300 in total
  • 2,000,000 emails at ¥0.0058 each, ¥11600 in total
  • 5,000,000 emails at ¥0.0050 each, ¥25000 in total

Larger customers are asked to contact the sales team. The site describes its pricing as open and transparent, with plans chosen as needed, self-service purchasing, clear billing and charges based on the volume actually sent, which it sums up as send on demand with flexible billing. The email page has a free trial button, and registration is free; for SMS, new accounts receive free messages on sign-up, and the homepage says 200w+ users have already had a free SMS trial. The FAQ covers real-name verification, invoices, privacy and security, and pricing and billing.

Other channels

Email sits inside a wider set of channels that share the same account. SMS covers verification codes, notifications and marketing with a custom signature, sent over a 106 short-code channel across the three mobile networks, with delivery in five seconds (五秒必达). International SMS reaches 230+ countries and regions over dedicated international channels with real-time monitoring. Voice offers verification codes, voice notifications and online group calls with multi-channel intelligent switching, and there is international voice for global voice verification codes. MMS carries images, audio and video. Short URLs come with custom domains. Smart SMS adds brand certification and two-way interaction. Passwordless login offers one-click login by the phone's own number, identity verification checks two or three data elements against a direct database connection, and 5G messaging delivers rich media cards.

The site groups these into solutions for e-commerce (handling business peaks), education, gaming, government and public services, and manufacturing, plus general solutions for digital marketing and an AI voice robot.

Support

Support is promised around the clock, listed as 7x24 hour service support, together with one-on-one dedicated customer service (1v1 客户专享服务). Phone consultation and complaints each have their own line, answered between 9:00 and 18:00, and the site also offers online chat, an enterprise WeChat contact, a WeChat official account and a Weibo account. The resource center publishes marketing tips, technical articles, industry research and service announcements, including a piece on common mistakes in email marketing.

Who it suits

SUBMAIL suits businesses that want email, SMS, voice and verification from one vendor and one account, with email billed per message by volume rather than by contact count. A shop or game studio sending verification codes by SMS and receipts and newsletters by email can run both through the same platform, and developers get SDKs in five languages plus webhooks through SUBHOOK. The choice of shared or exclusive IPs and pools, with automatic warm-up, gives larger senders room to grow.

Two caveats. Prices are quoted in yuan, and the per-email rate only falls as the package grows, so small senders pay the top rate of ¥0.0076. And the account set-up follows the company's own rules, with real-name verification covered in the FAQ.
