Netcore

Tap a star to rate

Netcore is a customer engagement company whose Email API sends transactional and marketing email for large brands, over a RESTful API or SMTP relay. The email product sits inside a wider platform that also covers app and web push, in-app messages, WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, voice, a customer data platform and product search. The company behind it is Netcore Pvt. Ltd., with the address in its footer in Lower Parel, Mumbai, India, and its email pages say it has been in business for 25 years+ and is trusted by 6500+ brands. The Email API page headline is "Lightning-Fast, AI-Powered Email API for Scalable and Reliable Email Delivery."

The API was once sold as Pepipost. Today pepipost.com leads to Netcore's Email API page, older posts on Netcore's blog still describe a "Scalable SMTP Service with Pepipost," and the code samples send from a pepisandbox.com test address.

Sending and integration

The Email API page gives three headline figures: 50B+ emails a month, a 3s delivery speed and a 95% inbox placement rate. Integration is by SMTP or RESTful API, which the page describes as plug and play in minutes, backed by SDKs, quickstart documentation, code samples and tutorials and a developer blog. The sample requests post JSON to emailapi.netcorecloud.net/v5/mail/send with an api_key header, a sender, a subject, HTML content and a personalizations block listing recipients. Code is shown for Python, cURL, Node.js, Ruby, Go, PHP, Java, C#, Wget and JavaScript. The FAQ explains that every API request is authenticated with an API key and can send to one or several recipients, and that there are two ways to integrate from an application such as a PHP one: the public Email API directly, or one of the SDKs Netcore provides for most popular languages.

The page groups use cases into three streams. Alerts and notifications run on what it calls Google Cloud-powered infrastructure. Marketing and promotions use personalization, AI-led optimization and interactive AMP content for everything from flash sales to festive offers. Verifications and identity cover OTPs, 2FA codes and password resets, with fallback queues that the site says ensure zero disruption.

Raman, analytics and interactive email

Netcore's delivery is steered by Raman, which the page calls its homegrown AI engine, optimizing sending in real time through Predictive Engagement, Adaptive Throughput and Send-Time Optimization. Analytics track each mail stream in real time with predictive alerts, inbox monitoring and performance insights.

Interactive email is a large part of the pitch. The API supports AMP for email, BIMI and Email Annotations, which the page says can drive up to 5x engagement inside the inbox. Netcore's blog describes its AMP emails, which it also calls Shoppable Commerce and Inbox Commerce, as letting recipients search for products, book appointments, fill out forms and complete purchases without leaving the email. Case studies on the API page include Cleartrip, which it says achieved a 410% increase in clicks with dynamic AMP mailers, and Vietjet Air, which uses AMP emails and automation for real-time flight updates and offers.

Infrastructure, security and compliance

The infrastructure section lists Google Cloud Platform, global edge delivery, a 99.99% uptime SLA and real-time failover, and a separate figure gives 99.99% delivery uptime on GCP and 100% TLS-secured sending. Netcore lists itself as a Premium partner of Google Cloud.

Under security, the Email API page lists ISO/IEC 27001:2013, SOC 2 Certified and GDPR Compliant. A Netcore blog post adds that the company is fully GDPR and CCPA compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications, and presents that as the reason major banks and financial institutions use it. The footer links a trust center, a responsible disclosure page, GDPR and data security pages, Email API terms and policies, and a scope of work and SLA document.

Deliverability consulting and support

Deliverability is where Netcore puts people as well as software. Its blog says Netcore owns its infrastructure and provides enterprise-grade, dedicated infrastructure plus a human deliverability consultancy team that actively manages a customer's domain health. It promises direct access to human experts for guidance on AI inbox summaries, policy changes, bot opens, Google Annotations, BIMI and mailbox provider updates. Email Consultancy is also listed as a separate email solution, next to Email Marketing for creating and automating campaigns and a dedicated AMP Email product.

On migration, the same blog post says Netcore's onboarding team can move a customer's data, IP reputation and templates in weeks, and the site has a Switch to Netcore section. For support, the site offers documentation and a raise-a-ticket form, and a footer link invites customers to share feedback directly with the CEO. Case studies on the API page include Sercanto, which the site says raised its inbox placement rate to 90% and revenue by 10% with the Netcore email API.

Other channels and the wider platform

Email is one channel in a platform that the homepage now calls an Agentic Marketing Platform, with AI agents for building audiences, shopping recommendations, content, journey insights, scheduling and offer decisioning. The homepage reports 200M+ WhatsApp messages a month, with Meta Premier Partner status, and 50B+ push notifications a month. The blog describes journeys that run across email, SMS, WhatsApp, web, on-site messages and app push, so that if a user ignores an email, a WhatsApp or push follow-up can be triggered automatically. It also says Netcore works alongside CRMs such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics rather than replacing them, and the homepage names tech partners including Appsflyer, Shopify, Limechat, Databricks and Snowflake.

Solutions pages cover e-commerce, retail, BFSI, automotive, media and entertainment, travel and hospitality, EdTech, startups and ISVs, and the site is available in English and Portuguese.

Pricing

The site has a pricing link, but the Email API page lists no prices and steers visitors to talk to an expert or request a demo. What the homepage does state is an unusual commercial model it calls KPI co-ownership: 30% of the platform fee is tied to the customer's business KPIs. The blog describes the model as transparent and partnership-based.

Who it suits

Netcore fits large senders that want one vendor for transactional and marketing email and for the other channels around it: e-commerce and retail brands that want interactive AMP email, banks and insurers that care about the listed certifications, and travel and media companies sending high volumes of time-sensitive updates. Developers get a straightforward JSON API with samples in ten languages and an SMTP option, while marketing teams get AMP, BIMI and a deliverability team to call on.

The fit is weaker for a small sender that wants a self-serve price list. Netcore sells through demos and conversations with its team, and much of its value sits in the wider platform and consulting rather than in the API alone.
