mySMTP

Tap a star to rate

mySMTP is an SMTP relay and dedicated SMTP server service for businesses that want their outgoing email to go through one authenticated, EU-hosted connection: transactional messages, webshop receipts, password resets, alerts, support tickets, company email, scanner and IoT output, and email marketing sent from a separate campaign tool. The homepage calls it "SMTP Infrastructure for Reliable Email Delivery" and sums up the offer in four lines: email deliverability experts, EU-hosted with personal support, trusted since 2007, and authenticated SMTP with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. The copyright line runs from 2007 to 2026, and the site says the team has delivered billions of emails since 2007.

It is a relay, not a campaign builder. You bring the application, mail server or marketing frontend, and mySMTP supplies the server that sends the mail.

What it sends

The site's menu splits the service into four uses. Email marketing is described as a high-performance SMTP server with its own IP and connectivity to all apps. Transactional email covers "all the business critical receipts, lost passwords and auto generated transactionals." Company email offers one SMTP server for all of a company's email, scanners and apps. Outsourced SMTP is pitched as managed business communication that saves time and resources.

The homepage adds that mySMTP sends transactional and marketing messages, receipts, confirmations, alerts, password reset emails and support tickets. Anything that speaks SMTP can connect, and the site lists email clients, marketing platforms, IoT devices, sensors, printers and scanners. For marketing sends, it names the frontends it works with: MailWizz, Ongage, Instantly, Mumara and others. MailWizz gets its own menu entry and several blog posts, including one on running MailWizz on mySMTP dedicated servers and a 2026 guide to getting warmup and quota right for MailWizz on mySMTP.

Dedicated IPs and servers

The headline offer is a dedicated IP included in the price. The homepage says a dedicated IP comes with plans from 5,000 emails per month, at €24 a month, or €216 a year on annual billing, which the site says saves 25%. With a dedicated IP, the site explains, you are the only one sending from that address, so the reputation you build stays your own and is not shared with other senders.

Provisioning is quick. The site says a dedicated SMTP server is provisioned within 5 minutes during business hours, fully configured and ready to send, and the setup path it describes is to choose a mySMTP package, follow the SMTP setup guide and start sending within minutes. For volume, it says the mySMTP cloud infrastructure can send millions of emails per day and that resources can be scaled up or down without downtime.

Beyond that entry price, the FAQ describes the plans as simple, transparent and flexible, with options for both smaller senders and enterprise needs.

Authentication, deliverability and monitoring

mySMTP supports SPF, DKIM, DMARC and RDNS. You add the required DNS records to your own domain, and the site says TLS 1.2 is the basic encryption. Its FAQ describes the deliverability approach as emails signed with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, clean IPs, reputation monitoring and deliverability tools that maximize inbox placement.

In the dashboard, real-time logs and delivery stats cover every email sent through your SMTP connection, and the site promises forensic insight when an email bounces. There is a public service status page, an email test tool, and a mobile app for testing SMTP and DNS.

The newest addition is toolbox.smtp.ai, which the company describes as a free, unified suite of tools for email senders, deliverability engineers and technical marketers. The blog explains its DKIM checker and covers topics such as which of the four SMTP ports that matter (25, 465, 587 and 2525) to use, transactional email for SaaS, and what happens in the first 10 seconds after an email is sent.

EU hosting and GDPR

Data location is stated plainly. The homepage says: "Our servers are securely located in an EU data center, with all operations 100% compliant and certified with GDPR and EU data regulations." The FAQ adds that all servers are hosted in the EU, that the service is fully GDPR compliant, and that TLS encryption is on by default. The footer links a DPA, a sending policy, a report-spam page, terms of service and a privacy policy.

The company's blog also carries a guide to GDPR and email marketing compliance. It explains that marketing email needs explicit, active opt-in consent, that senders should keep a record of when, how and where consent was given, and that double opt-in is not required by the regulation but is recommended. It covers data minimization, clear privacy policies, the right to be forgotten, an unsubscribe link in every email, and a checklist of practical steps from auditing existing lists to training staff. For a customer sending marketing email over mySMTP, it is a handy summary of the rules the sender, not the relay, has to follow.

Support

Support is part of the pitch. The homepage promises personal support and names onboarding, warm-up plans and proper setup as the areas where the team helps, so that a sender starts with full authentication from day one. The FAQ says the team helps you set up, troubleshoot and keep delivery performance high. The site has a support center, a knowledge base, guides, an FAQ, a contact page, a "Talk to us" option, a Deliverability Expert page and a page about the team, and the homepage links to the company's Trustpilot reviews.

On its standing, the FAQ says mySMTP is "recognized as the #1 independent choice for reliable, secure, and compliant SMTP delivery in the global market," which is the company's own claim.

Who it suits

mySMTP fits businesses that want a dedicated IP and an EU-hosted SMTP server without running one themselves. A webshop sending receipts, a company routing office scanners and apps through one server, and a marketer running MailWizz or another frontend on their own sending IP all match what the site describes. The €24 starting point with a dedicated IP included is a practical entry for smaller senders who still want their own reputation.

The trade-off is scope. mySMTP is the sending layer only: it does not build campaigns, manage lists or run automations, so marketing teams need a separate frontend such as the ones the site names. And the homepage quotes only the entry price, so larger senders will need the pricing page or a conversation with the team to plan a budget.
