Aurora SendCloud
Tap a star to rate
Aurora SendCloud is an email delivery platform run by Sedona Limited, a company with its address in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The About page describes it as a SaaS platform that "provides customers with a one-stop global email delivery solution", aimed at enterprises that use email to reach users worldwide for customer acquisition, conversion and retention. It covers both sides of sending: an Email API for transactional mail and an Email Marketing product for campaigns, with SMS and WhatsApp grouped under an Omni-Channel heading and an AI email editor alongside.
The About page gives its figures as 200,000+ served customers and 1.8 Billion+ recipients reached, with averages for 2024 of a 99.61% delivery rate, a 34.29% open rate and a 7.31% click rate. A company blog post adds that the platform handles 3.5+ billion bulk emails a month, that emails can be delivered in as little as 3 seconds, and that its spam rate stays below 0.1%.
Transactional email through the API or SMTP
The Email API sends "personalized, one-to-one emails at scale, especially those triggered by user actions." A company guide to transactional email APIs says Aurora SendCloud supports both REST API and SMTP integration, with regional API endpoints for Singapore, the US and China. Requests authenticate with apiUser and apiKey parameters, and the regional endpoint has to match the account's region. The documentation covers sending, templates, status checks, tracking and webhook workflows, and template-based sending keeps large HTML bodies out of application code.
The same guide describes two safeguards. A sendRequestId field protects against duplicate sends, since repeated values within one hour are processed only once, which lets an application retry safely after a network error. And an API user can only be set up with an authenticated sending domain, so authentication is in place before production traffic starts. API docs and guides are published in the resources section.
Campaigns, templates and AI
The Email Marketing side is built around "sending queues, proactive spam protection, and AI-optimized content", in the home page's words. A company blog post describes a drag-and-drop editor with 100+ ready templates that non-technical staff can use, and AI marketing tools that generate email content, optimize send times and improve subject lines. The AI Email Editor is a product line of its own, with AI email creation, an editor plugin and an editor API, so the editor can also be embedded in another application. A template library sits in the resources section, and the blog mentions consultation services to help optimize campaigns.
Deliverability and tracking
The home page publishes delivery performance openly, sampling delivery percentage and speed across major mailbox providers every 15 seconds. The company blog lists the measures behind those numbers: global ISP feedback loops, spam filter monitoring, smart warm-up that gradually raises volume to protect domain reputation, bounce handling and detailed delivery reports, plus authentication with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and BIMI. The home page promotes its BIMI integration as a way to boost brand trust and delivery.
Analytics follow each message from request to user feedback, for both API mail and campaigns. Opens, clicks, unsubscribes and complaints are tracked so senders can focus on their most engaged audience, conversions can be followed in Google Analytics, and a brand consistency feature is listed next to them. Webhooks report events back to the sender's own application, and the blog describes the reporting as real-time.
SMS and WhatsApp
Under Omni-Channel the product menu lists an SMS API, SMS content and SMS analytics, and WhatsApp marketing. Both channels are priced per message by destination: the pricing page has a calculator that takes a message count and a country or region, and senders who want regional pricing can contact the company for a detailed quote. The SMS API has its own documentation and a test send.
Pricing
Email is sold as prepaid packages that expire after one year, at prices effective from February 1, 2026: 10,000 emails for US$29.90, 30,000 for US$85.00, 50,000 for US$130.00, 100,000 for US$250.00, 150,000 for US$360.00, 300,000 for US$670.00 and 500,000 for US$1050.00. Volumes above 500,000 appear as a separate tier without a listed price. A calculator on the page recommends a bundle from the expected monthly volume. Paid users get 200KB of free data flow per email, and data above that is charged monthly at US$0.3/GB. The company's API guide lists a dedicated IP at $70 a month, with a minimum of 3 months, and says the annual packages include templates, tracking, webhooks and multi-region routing.
Getting started costs nothing: the site offers free sign-up and a free trial, and the support table distinguishes free users from paid ones, so an account can be set up and tested before any package is bought. The pricing calculator then asks for the expected monthly volume, estimates annual usage and suggests which combination of packages to buy, which helps a sender avoid paying for emails that would expire unused.
Data regions and support
A blog announcement says Aurora SendCloud has data regions in Singapore, the US (Silicon Valley) and Hong Kong SAR, presented as serving compliant email delivery for users worldwide. Support is by email for both free and paid users, with working hours of 9:00 to 18:00 on weekdays in UTC+8. Free users get a response within 24 hours and paid users within 12 hours, and the pricing page says paid users' issues are also handled during holidays.
Who it suits
Aurora SendCloud fits businesses that want transactional and marketing email from one account and prefer paying once a year for a known volume: a SaaS product sending account mail through the API, an online shop mixing order emails with promotions, or a team that wants an AI-assisted editor next to an API. The regional endpoints in Singapore, the US and China suit senders who care where their mail is processed, and the smallest package keeps a first year of low-volume sending inexpensive. Developers get the practical pieces they need, from templates and webhooks to duplicate protection. The company's own review of delivery platforms names enterprises, SaaS companies and marketers wanting both transactional and marketing email as its ideal customers, and it is candid that the rich feature set may feel overwhelming for beginners, who get the most from it after learning the advanced tools.
Senders should size packages carefully, since unused emails expire after a year, and support runs by email during UTC+8 business hours.
