网易外贸通
Tap a star to rate
网易外贸通 (NetEase Waimao Tong, roughly "NetEase foreign trade") is a sales and marketing suite from NetEase for Chinese companies that sell abroad. Email marketing is one of its core modules, sitting beside a global buyer database, AI writing tools, social media outreach, a website builder and a customer manager. The site speaks to 中小外贸企业 (small and mid-sized export companies) and to 外贸员, the export sales staff who do the daily prospecting and follow-up. The whole site is in simplified Chinese, and the suite is sold through a sign-up form and a sales line rather than a public price list.
Where email fits in the suite
The home page frames the product as a chain: find buyers, reach them, then manage them through to the order. Email is the "reach" step, and it is presented with a specific promise. Under 专业邮件营销 (professional email marketing) the site says the service runs on 海量高信誉度IP (a large pool of high-reputation IP addresses) with 全球畅通收发 (smooth sending and receiving worldwide), and that the delivery rate is 在95%以上 (above 95%). A second block repeats the point with 专业的发信配置 (professional sending configuration) and a delivery rate 高达95% (as high as 95%). Those are the company's own figures for delivery, not open rates.
The email tools are built for outbound sales mail as much as for newsletters. One customer quoted on the home page says they use the product for 批量发邮件 (bulk email), mainly for new-customer development and for looking after existing customers, and that delivery was basically 95%. Another credits the 发信流程设置 (sending workflow setup) and the AI content writer with saving their sales staff time and raising delivery of their marketing mail. A third, the founder of an event business, names 多域名服务 (multi-domain service) alongside prospecting and AI writing as the features that help sales staff get results quickly, and reports that the open rate on mail to key decision makers went from 3% to 5%.
Automation and AI writing
Automation is where the automation category membership comes from. Under 自动化营销 the site says its AI 深度研究多轮营销策略,智能执行营销任务, which translates as researching multi-round marketing strategies in depth and carrying out marketing tasks automatically. Elsewhere the company lists AI营销托管能力, an AI-managed marketing capability meant to lift order conversion.
The product menu names two writing tools, AI写信 (AI letter writing) and AI写信和润色 (AI writing and polishing), aimed at the prospecting emails that export sales staff send in volume. The home page also advertises TradingClaw, billed as the company's first 智能体 (agent). It is described as a team of agents: a 管家Agent (steward agent) coordinates several scenario agents, users give instructions in natural language, and a 拓客Agent (prospecting agent) stays online around the clock to find buyers worldwide, open contact in real time and hand over interested buyers.
The buyer database behind the mailing lists
The feature that sets this suite apart from a plain newsletter tool is its 全球企业数据库 (global business database). The site lists 9 prospecting channels, among them global search, customs data and trade-show prospecting. It claims coverage of 60亿+ customs trade records (6 billion plus), 1.2亿 company records (120 million) and 2亿+ overseas company contact records (200 million plus), and says the data is updated daily. AI keyword expansion, smart recommendations and smart monitoring are offered to widen searches, and the site says AI mines customs, social media and search engine data around the clock and matches contact details for key people automatically.
For an email sender, that means the list is usually built inside the product from this data rather than imported from a signup form. Customer quotes on the page describe using the customs data for background checks on buyers, including which suppliers a target customer already works with and how often it buys.
Social channels, websites and tracking
Email sits next to other channels. The site says the suite 打通Linkedln、Facebook、WhatsApp等社媒渠道 (connects social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp). The social module uses AI to generate promotional content for major overseas networks and gathers private-message replies in one place. In the customer manager, a feature called 链接WhatsApp和邮件 links WhatsApp and email conversations for high-value customers.
For brand building, the AI website builder claims to generate, in 30 seconds, a company website suited to the browsing habits of overseas buyers, tied into the marketing follow-up. The site stresses low cost and fast page loads. Reporting is described as 全链路行为数据 (full-funnel behavior data): dashboards, lead reports and direct tracking of customer behavior.
The company also sells a managed service, 网易外贸通代运营 (done-for-you operation). One customer credits it with widening their social prospecting and says ads placed on Facebook through it brought many new leads.
Customer management
The CRM side covers 线索到订单全流程管理, the full path from lead to order. AI helps create customer records, follow up leads and convert opportunities. Under 灵活搭建系统 (flexible system building) users can define their own customer and order groupings to suit their business, and the site describes one-stop management of leads, customers and orders with customizable setups for different business scenarios. One customer quote credits the system's attention to customer privacy for helping them keep their customer assets protected. The product menu also lists a 客户端 (desktop client).
What the site says about pricing, support and security
The site publishes no prices; access starts from a form asking for the full company name and a mobile verification code, with a 立即开通 (activate now) button and a 立即体验 (try it now) link. Several customer quotes call the product good value, and one says the team had spent nearly 5万元 (50,000 yuan) in a year on another platform with no results before winning eight new customers here.
Support is a selling point. The site offers 一对一专家服务 (one-to-one expert service), 行业实战专家精品课程 (courses by practitioners on export marketing and industry trends), and 定制化产品培训 (product training tailored to the customer's business). It also mentions 金牌外贸顾问专业指导 (guidance from senior export consultants) and claims a 99% satisfaction rate for after-sales service. The listed contacts are the sales hotline 95163188 ext. 2 and kf@office.163.com.
On security, the site says only 国际权威认证 (authoritative international certification) and 成熟的信息安全管理体系 (a mature information security management system), without naming a standard. It leans on the parent brand with 网易29年品牌保证, a 29-year NetEase brand guarantee, and links to sister products including NetEase enterprise mail, a cross-border browser and cross-border payments.
The company's view of email metrics
A knowledge-base article on the site explains how the company thinks about bulk email. It names five metrics: delivery rate, open rate, click rate, conversion rate and unsubscribe rate. It advises re-examining how addresses are collected if delivery falls below 97%, recommends A/B testing send times and subject lines to lift opens, and says good bulk-sending software should manage contact lists, customize content and track campaign results.
Customer results on the home page
The home page carries a long row of customer cases, all Chinese manufacturers and traders. A hydraulics company moving from domestic to export sales used the AI prospecting, customs data and email follow-up to win a UK order worth 50万美元 (500,000 US dollars) paid in batches. A tools maker reports 97% delivery on its email marketing, a metal products firm claims three times the efficiency in customer management, and a trading company reports customer acquisition costs cut by 50%+. These are testimonials the company selected, not audited figures.
Who it suits
This suite fits a Chinese manufacturer or trading company that sells to overseas buyers and wants prospect data, cold outreach email, social messaging and a CRM in one Chinese-language product, with hands-on training included. It suits sales teams that build lists from trade data rather than from website signups.
It is a poor fit for a business outside China, for anyone who needs an English interface, or for a team that wants a published per-contact price. Developers looking for an email API or SMTP relay will find nothing about either, and a brand running opt-in newsletters to its own subscribers is not the audience this product is built for.
