Snappy Kraken

Tap a star to rate

Snappy Kraken is a marketing automation platform built only for financial advisors and advisory firms. Its Campaigns App sends multi-step email nurture sequences, timely emails on current events, text message follow-ups and social posts, and the company describes itself as "an AI-powered marketing platform built exclusively for financial advisors and firms." The same account also covers advisor websites, a texting app called Convos, a data layer called Marketing Hub, and a done-for-you service. The audience runs from a solo advisor who wants marketing to take an hour or two a month to RIAs, broker-dealers and IMOs pushing campaigns out to whole networks of advisors. The home page headline reads "More than 7,000 financial advisors across 200 leading financial networks trust Snappy Kraken."

What a sender gets in the Campaigns App

The FAQ is blunt about what the Campaigns App is: a complete marketing automation system for financial advisors, not just a library of templates. The core is a library of more than 150 pre-built campaigns that launch across websites, email, text and social in one click. The home page describes the content as award-winning and FINRA-reviewed, and lists what a campaign can hold: email nurture sequences, timely emails on current events, social media posts, website content, lead magnets and text message follow-ups, all automated to reach prospects and clients over time. Testimonials name two of them, a Retirement Success campaign and a 90-Day New Client Campaign.

Everything in a campaign can be edited. The FAQ says you can change text, visuals, layout and timing, or start from scratch with flexible DIY templates. The builder is drag-and-drop, with AI tools for emails, headlines and graphics built in, and the home page says the generative AI can customize existing templates or create campaigns, emails, social posts and images of your own.

Automation handles follow-up, nurture and list management. Multi-step sequences run on their own, lists update in real time, and the page makes a point of "No spreadsheets, no busywork." Lead capture is built in, and the company says the platform can reply to new leads in under 5 minutes automatically, against what it calls an industry average of 24-48 hours. Nurture is multi-channel: the same program can keep in touch by email, social and text while the advisor is with clients.

Engagement data and reporting

The Opportunities Feed is the part of the product that turns email opens and clicks into a call list. It shows a live feed of the most engaged prospects, ranked by behavior and intent, with built-in opportunity scoring that highlights the contacts most likely to convert. It also gives next-step prompts such as "Call this contact" or "Send invite." The menu calls this layer Marketing Hub and describes it as AI-powered marketing intelligence, with a Snappy AI feature pitched as knowing what to do next.

Reporting runs on built-in business intelligence dashboards. According to the FAQ they follow marketing from campaign engagement through to meetings, referrals and AUM growth, with real-time pipeline reporting and CRM-connected insights showing which campaigns and lead sources are working. The home page adds that the campaigns are informed by more than 200M emails delivered and analyzed.

CRM sync and integrations

The named CRM integrations are Redtail, Wealthbox and Salesforce, and an App Marketplace is linked for the rest. The company's claim here is specific: it says it is the only marketing automation platform built for financial advisors with real-time CRM sync, where "Other platforms only update once a night." With Snappy Kraken, contacts, groups and campaign activity stay up to date 24/7, with no manual uploads. Leads from websites, ads and third-party tools can be added automatically to specific groups and campaigns, so the nurture sequence starts as soon as the contact exists.

Compliance and security

For a regulated sender this is the section that decides things. The site says every campaign is crafted with compliance in mind and reviewed for use by thousands of advisors. Built-in approval workflows let a firm route content for internal or enterprise review, lock down final versions and archive communications automatically, which the FAQ presents as the way to meet FINRA and SEC marketing requirements. For firms with many advisors, the workflows also enforce brand standards and give central visibility. On data security, the site says Snappy Kraken "maintains SOC 2 Type 2 certified security standards".

Firms, networks and done-for-you marketing

For RIAs, broker-dealers and IMOs, the menu lists a Marketing Admin area called Enterprise Hub. The home page says a firm can mass-publish and automate, launching campaigns "for 5 or 5,000 advisors in seconds" while keeping branding and compliance consistent, with real-time insight into advisor and campaign performance. The CMO of Advisors Excel is quoted: "we’ve seen them add huge value for hundreds of our advisors."

Advisors who would rather not run the software at all can buy Freedom360, the company's fully managed marketing service, where its team handles everything from strategy to execution. The company says advisors using Freedom360 see 6x website traffic and 2x appointment requests. Advisor websites are a separate product, and the home page credits its personalized sites with 3x more website opt-ins.

Results the company publishes

Snappy Kraken leans on outcome figures. Advisors using the system attribute 31% of their revenue growth to it, and 98% say it improves client engagement. It claims 7x faster organic growth, footnoted as "Snappy Kraken Advisor growth rate was 7x Fidelity Advisor averages in 2023", and 4.5x better marketing performance than other advisor marketing tools. These are the company's own numbers. Marty Bicknell, CEO and President of Mariner Wealth Advisors, is quoted on the Campaigns page asking "Who else offers a money-back guarantee if advisors aren’t satisfied?", which is how the guarantee comes up.

Pricing and support

The home and Campaigns pages print no prices; a Pricing page sits in the menu, and the route in is a demo, where the company says it will walk you through the platform and help you choose the right solution. One customer quote credits the team that walks them through the software every month. Sales is on 844.762.7795 and sales@snappykraken.com, support on support@snappykraken.com, and there is a support center, webinars, eBooks and guides, and an advisor referral program.

Who it suits

Snappy Kraken suits a financial advisor or advisory firm that wants ready-made, compliance-reviewed email and text content, CRM-linked automation and a clear list of who to call next. It is especially strong for firms that must approve and archive every message and for networks that want one campaign pushed to hundreds of advisors at once.

It is not a general email marketing tool. A business outside financial services has no use for the content library or the approval workflow, and a firm running a CRM other than those named should check the App Marketplace before a demo.
