What Revinate is

Revinate is a guest data and marketing platform built for hotels, and its email product, Revinate Marketing, sends campaigns and automated lifecycle email to a hotel's own guests. The homepage calls it "Hospitality's leading direct booking platform" and says "Our AI-powered customer data platform helps hoteliers own the guest journey, reduce OTA reliance, and get powerful results." The goal it sells is simple: move bookings away from online travel agencies and onto the hotel's own channels, where the property keeps the commission.

The company gives its scale on the homepage: "Join the 12,500+ hotels using Revinate to drive $24B in direct revenue and power more than 1.1B Rich Guest Profiles." It says it operates in 128 countries. Email is one product in a wider suite, so a hotel buys it as part of a platform rather than as a standalone newsletter tool.

The product line

The site lists seven products, and the email work sits across two of them:

  • Revinate Core, the customer data platform, for "a unified 360 view" of guests.
  • Revinate Marketing, labeled "Hotel email marketing", pitched to hotels that rely too much on OTAs as a way to engage guests through their journey.
  • Revinate Pathways, labeled "Hotel marketing automation".
  • Revinate Chat, a virtual concierge that sends "personalized, AI-powered guest messages 24/7".
  • Revinate Feedback, reputation management and surveys, which the site says manages reviews "across ~45 sites".
  • Reservation Sales and RezForce, for the voice channel: inbound and outbound call conversion, and a call center whose agents pick up "when your team logs off".

The menu groups the offer into three channels: email ("Driving $14B in revenue in 2025"), voice ("4x Average Stay Value") and messaging ("98% open rate"). For a reader choosing an email platform, Core plus Marketing plus Pathways is the relevant stack.

What a hotel marketer gets

Guest data first

Revinate builds the list for the marketer rather than asking for a CSV. Its long guide to hotel email marketing, published on the company blog and tagged Revinate Marketing, describes the customer data platform as "the brain behind your email marketing operations" and says it gives "a complete 360-degree view of each guest's journey across your property or portfolio" through Rich Guest Profiles. The same guide says a hotel email platform must integrate with the PMS, POS, CRM and CDP, and that a hospitality-native platform "integrates directly with your PMS". The hotel's stay history, room preferences, spend and booking channel become the fields a campaign is segmented on.

Segmentation

The CRM layer turns those profiles into marketing segments. Revinate cites its own data here: applying enough filters "to reduce your segments to 5,000 recipients or fewer" raises open rates "by about 15%". Segments in the guide's examples include guests with upcoming stays in standard rooms, past guests who have not rebooked, website visitors who abandoned a booking, guests with a known birthday or anniversary, and guests whose last booking came through an OTA.

Campaigns and the editor

The guide lists what the company expects a hotel email platform to include: campaign management for one-time and automated sends, "an intuitive email builder with hospitality-specific templates, A/B testing capabilities, and campaign scheduling tools", dynamic content that changes by segment, and AI-powered content creation for copy and subject lines. It says hotels using AI tools produce campaigns "up to 12x faster than manual workflows". The opening scenario has a marketer using "an AI-enabled template" to build an anniversary campaign.

Automation

Automated, triggered email is where Revinate puts the weight. The guide gives a concrete workflow: a pre-arrival upsell 5 days before check-in, a welcome email at check-in, a post-stay survey 2 days after checkout, and a winback offer 60 days later if there is no new booking. It describes five campaigns in detail with triggers and audiences: pre-arrival upsell, post-stay winback, cart abandonment, birthday and anniversary, and OTA winback, which targets guests whose real email address the hotel captured during a stay booked through an agency. Recurring campaigns named elsewhere include birthday promotions and cancellation recovery.

Reporting and attribution

Revinate frames reporting around revenue. The guide asks for open rates, click-through, conversion tracking and revenue attribution, tracking direct bookings, upsells, amenity purchases and guest lifetime value, and it spends a section on translating campaign results into net operating income for hotel owners. It also says a platform should let a group manage multiple properties from one place.

Compliance guidance

The guide covers sender reputation, double opt-in and subscription preference pages, noting that "GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations require clear opt-in processes". It presents these as practices for the hotel to follow. Double opt-in also appears as a tracked recurring campaign in Revinate's benchmark data, below.

Benchmarks Revinate publishes

The company's 2026 Hospitality Benchmark Report, summarized in the guide, analyzed 1.8 billion emails. Recurring automated campaigns averaged a 56.6% open rate and a 15.17% click-through rate; one-time campaigns such as newsletters averaged 32.2% and 2.37%. The top campaigns by average booking value were double opt-in at $1,479, cart abandonment at $1,289 and newsletters at $1,257. Cart abandonment campaigns average a 69% open rate, per Revinate data. The guide also recommends a "60/40 rule" for images and text with "at least 500 text characters in each email".

On results, the guide says "Hotels using Revinate Marketing report average 10x ROI in their first 90 days, with many achieving 20x or higher." The homepage adds two customer stories: EOS Hospitality used Revinate Marketing "to help drive more than $35M in revenue, with individual campaign averages of $32K in direct revenue", and Salamander Collection used Reservation Sales and Revinate Marketing "to achieve $45M in lifetime direct revenue, with a 270% growth in outbound revenue". These are the company's own figures about selected customers.

The guide also puts a number on the OTA problem: every booking shifted to direct "eliminates 15-25% in OTA commission costs".

Pricing, trust and support

The site sells through a "Get a demo" form that asks visitors to tell the sales team about themselves, and the guide ends with an offer of a free consultation and demo; the site publishes no prices. The footer links a Trust Center, a Support page and a login. For learning, Revinate runs a podcast, webinars, benchmark reports, campaign "inspirations", training with "Education and certification", and NAVIGATE, which it calls "The hospitality networking conference". A partner ecosystem page sits under About.

Who Revinate suits

Revinate suits hotels, from a single boutique property to a group, that want guest email driven by PMS data and measured in direct bookings. A marketing team that runs pre-arrival upsells, winbacks and OTA conversion, and wants voice, chat and review management from the same vendor, is the reader the site is written for. Hotel groups get multi-property management in one account.

It is the wrong tool for anyone outside hospitality. There is no path on the site for a shop, a SaaS product or a newsletter writer, and the whole product is built around stays, rooms and booking channels. A small property that wants a cheap self-serve email tool with a published price will find a demo-led enterprise sale instead.
