Lime Technologies is a Swedish software company that makes Lime CRM and related customer software, and its email product, Lime Newsletter, sends newsletters and email campaigns that work together with Lime CRM. An add-on called Automated Flows turns those newsletters into marketing automation, sending emails automatically depending on the choices recipients make along the customer journey. The homepage sums the company up as "Made in Sweden, built for Europe," says it has "Over 1 million users," and names the legal entity as Lime Technologies Sweden AB.

The company's pitch is that "great customer journeys build great businesses," and email is one part of that journey rather than a product sold on its own. The buyer it fits is a business that wants its newsletters and automated emails to run from the same CRM records its sales and service teams use.

What a sender gets

Lime Newsletter is presented in the company's Norwegian article on writing newsletters that sell, which ends with "La Lime Newsletter bli grunnlaget for din e-postmarkedsføring" (let Lime Newsletter become the foundation of your email marketing). The article calls it an excellent addition to a company's marketing that can sit at the center of its marketing communication, and offers to show how Lime Newsletter can be used together with Lime CRM.

The automation layer is Automated Flows. The same article describes it this way: "Automated Flows, en addon til Lime nyhetsbrev, er et Marketing Automation-verktøy der du kan opprette selgende nyhetsbrev som automatisk sendes til mottakere, avhengig av valgene de gjør under kundereisen" (Automated Flows, an add-on to Lime Newsletter, is a marketing automation tool where you can create selling newsletters that are sent automatically to recipients, depending on the choices they make during the customer journey). The Swedish article adds that with a marketing automation tool such as Automated Flows, a business can keep sending relevant emails to its customers through their journey in all of its marketing channels, so that it stays top of mind with visitors. Both articles offer a personal demo of how the tool works.

Marketing in Lime CRM goes beyond sending. A video on the homepage, "Smarter marketing with Lime CRM," promises to "Get the full picture of your marketing efforts, from first interest to closed deals." Because the newsletter works with the CRM, the people who receive a campaign are the same records the sales team works on, and results can be followed through to a deal. One customer quoted on the homepage says "With Lime CRM, we save an incredible amount of time on everything from mailing and reporting to classic information searches."

Lime CRM itself is described as "An industry-tailored CRM with support for the entire customer journey. With smart integrations and built-in AI. Easy to tailor to match industry-specific workflows." The homepage lists sales processes, ticketing management and marketing automation as the parts of the customer journey the company covers, and Lime CRM has its own pages for industries, teams, features, integrations and pricing, plus a page for trying it.

AI across the products

AI is built into Lime CRM in two forms. The homepage says "Lime CRM AI has two sides. One takes the initiative and acts for you, and one answers your questions whenever you need it." The agents work in the background and "sorts cases, ranks opportunities and qualifies leads, without you lifting a finger." The assistant answers questions inside Lime CRM straight away, "with summaries, translations and suggestions for your next step." The company describes its AI tools as working with a team, "not instead of it," and says they boost results in sales, marketing and customer service. An AI readiness checklist is offered as a download.

The other Lime products

Lime Go is "A Plug & Play CRM for growing B2B businesses and their sales teams," built to find the right customers, create more deals and make data-driven decisions. It has its own features, integrations, pricing and trial pages.

Lime Connect is "An AI solution for customer communication," which automates customer service with AI agents in chat, email and WhatsApp. A video on the homepage says that with its AI Agent a business can automate "up to 90%" of highly repetitive customer requests.

Lime Sportadmin puts a whole sports club in one system: members, teams, schedules, payments and communication. Lime Intenz is a service rather than software, offering behavioral change management so that a CRM is actually used. The homepage explains why: "Software is worth nothing unless it’s used."

Company, results and support

Lime says it keeps the whole value chain under its own roof: "We do everything in-house, from the development of our software to governance and support, all the way through." It points to "decades of experience and industry knowledge" and to guidance based on earlier projects.

The homepage lists customer results: a retention rate increased by 60%, net sales doubled in 5 yrs, software usage up 80% and 20h less administration per week. One customer says its new CRM process raised the retention rate in the first year from 25% to 40%. Another praises "A wonderful user support and a lot of digital training material."

The site runs in Danish, German, English, Finnish, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish. A first contact is a call or a face-to-face meeting with a member of the local team, and the footer lists offices, a trust center, legal pages and investor relations. The company's own monthly newsletter goes out in English. Prices sit on the separate pricing pages for Lime CRM and Lime Go; the homepage and the newsletter articles quote none.

Who it suits

Lime suits a business in Sweden or elsewhere in Europe, particularly one that runs its sales, service and marketing on Lime CRM, that wants newsletters and automated email flows built on the same customer records, with AI agents qualifying leads and ranking opportunities alongside. A company in a specialized industry that needs a CRM shaped to its workflows, and wants help with rollout and adoption, is the customer the site describes.

It is not a standalone newsletter service. A small sender who only wants to mail a list, or a developer looking for a transactional email API, would find the email tools sold as part of a CRM relationship rather than as a self-service product, and should start from the pricing pages and a demo.
