Lawmatics is a CRM and marketing automation platform built only for law firms. It sends automated follow-up emails and text messages to new inquiries, email drip campaigns to nurture leads, and newsletters to segments of clients and prospects, from the same system that handles intake forms, consultation booking, e-signature, billing and reporting. The homepage headline is "Convert more leads with an AI-powered legal CRM," and it says "Thousands of law firms use Lawmatics to convert more leads into clients." The footer reads "Crafted with in San Diego, CA."
The platform is organized into five parts: client intake, the legal CRM, marketing automation, time and billing, and data reporting, plus an AI suite called Merlin. For a firm choosing an email tool, the point is that its marketing email is wired straight into the intake pipeline, so a form submission, a booked consult or a change of case stage can decide what a lead receives next.
What a sender gets
The first email a lead gets is automatic. The homepage says: "As soon as a lead submits a client intake form, Lawmatics automatically follows up with a personalized text or email." Intake starts with customizable law office intake form templates and a custom form builder, and the site promises to "automate every step, from follow-ups to scheduling."
Nurturing runs on drip campaigns. Step two of the homepage's intake journey is "Nurture prospects with email drip marketing automation campaigns," with the promise to "Deliver the right message at the right time. Automated campaigns keep leads engaged while you focus on your practice." The marketing automation product lists Email Drip Marketing Campaigns, a Custom Email Suite, Dynamic Email Workflows, Audience Segmentation and LM[AI].
Segmentation is based on legal data. The site says a firm can "automatically tag contacts based on behavior, case type, or intake stage" and "trigger the right message to the right person at the right time," and can group leads or clients "by stage, practice area, or behavior." For newsletters, it says a firm can "Create, manage & send to any segment of clients or leads with newsletter marketing for attorneys." The company's blog on email marketing for law firms describes grouping contacts by matter type, geographic location or where they stand in the client journey, a premade template library for lawyers who "aren’t html wizards," and custom triggers such as a confirmation when someone books a consultation or a birthday email to a former client.
Text messaging sits in the legal CRM as SMS & MMS, so a firm can send picture messages as well as texts, and the first-response automation uses either channel.
Scheduling and signing close the loop. Lawmatics lets clients pick a time for an initial consultation and "handles confirmations and reminders, no back-and-forth needed." When a lead is ready, the firm can "Instantly generate and send branded agreements, ready for clients to sign online," using document automation and a branded e-signature tool. File requests and a client portal handle documents after that.
The pipeline drives the automation. The site describes "a kanban-style pipeline management view of your intake process," where "As leads move from stage to stage, automation triggers the right actions, like sending appointment reminders." Tasks are created and assigned automatically as leads book consults or move stages. A conflict check runs when a new lead is added: "the system automatically scans your database for potential conflicts, flagging any matches before you get too far into the intake process." Custom fields adapt records to each practice.
Reporting ties email to revenue. Lawmatics offers custom reporting, custom dashboards and legal data analytics, with views for client intake trends, productivity and marketing ROI, where a firm can "Monitor which email drip campaigns are driving the most leads and revenue." The CRM also tracks how prospects find the firm, whether through referrals, marketing campaigns or organic traffic.
AI is sold under the Merlin name. Merlin Qualify, described as a way to "Instantly score leads and sign the right clients faster," is live, and the menu marks Merlin Copilot and Merlin Engage as coming soon. A mobile app keeps the work moving away from the desk.
Integrations
The homepage lists the connections it offers. Gmail syncs messages and Google Calendar events, and Microsoft Outlook syncs messages and calendar events. Matter data syncs on lead conversion to practice management systems including Clio, 8am MyCase, Filevine, Smokeball, LEAP, SmartAdvocate and PracticePanther, and the footer also lists CARET Legal. CallRail tracks the marketing source of incoming leads, Google Ads campaign data is logged in Lawmatics, and Meta Ads appears among the integrations. New leads can flow in from DecisionVault, Smith.ai and LEX Reception. Zoom turns any appointment into a Zoom meeting, and QuickBooks receives customers and invoices. The footer links API documentation for building more.
Pricing, offers and support
The homepage shows no prices; a separate pricing page carries the plans. Two offers run on the site: "Get your first month of Lawmatics free," and "Demo Lawmatics. Get $50," with the promise that "we’ll send you a $50 gift card for your time" for watching a demo.
Time and billing covers billing and invoicing, time and expense tracking, online payments and LMPay, so a firm can bill clients in the same platform that brought them in.
Support includes daily office hours, with live support calls on Zoom from 9 AM to 10:30 AM PT, Monday to Friday. The site also lists a help center, services, onboarding, e-books and guides, deep-dive sessions, a blog, a customer advocacy program and a security page.
Customer results appear as short quotes. Kraayeveld Law Offices says "With Lawmatics, I've noticed an increase in people showing up for their appointments and actually hiring us," Bourassa Law Group says "Lawmatics has helped us to be on point with our response time," and Strongest Defense says it now knows "which of my marketing lead sources are actually converting better."
Who it suits
Lawmatics suits a law firm that lives on inbound inquiries and wants every one answered at once by email or text, nurtured with drip campaigns until it books a consult, and signed online, with reporting that shows which campaigns bring paying clients. The site sells to solo practitioners, small firms and mid-size to large firms, across practice areas including bankruptcy, business, criminal defense, employment, estate planning, family, immigration, intellectual property and personal injury law. Its integrations with Clio, MyCase, Filevine and other practice management systems matter for a firm that already runs one.
It is not a general email platform. A business outside the legal profession has no reason to use it, and a firm that only wants to send an occasional newsletter would be paying for intake, conflict checking, e-signature and billing it may not need.
